Donald Parham Jr. TE | PIT
Chargers' Donald Parham: Remains out
Parham (hamstring) is inactive Sunday against the Texans, Jeff Miller of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Parham was able to log a full practice Friday, but considering the time he has missed, the Chargers will make him wait at least one more week to return. In his absence, Gerald Everett will continue to operate as team's No. 1 tight end, while Tre' McKitty and Richard Rodgers provide depth.

Pharaoh Brown TE | ARI
Texans' Pharaoh Brown: Inactive Sunday
Brown (hip/shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Chargers.
With Brown unavailable Sunday, Jordan Akins and O.J. Howard are in line to head Houston's Week 4 tight end corps, with Mason Schreck in reserve. While neither Akins or Howard are high-percentage fantasy plays, Akins managed to haul in three of his four targets for 31 yards and a TD last weekend against the Bears, so he profiles as an option for those scrambling for short-term TE help.

Dalton Schultz TE | HOU
Cowboys' Dalton Schultz: Playing Sunday
Schultz (knee) is listed as active Sunday against the Commanders, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Making his first appearance since Week 2 due to a sprained PCL in his right knee, Schultz will be a part of a Cowboys receiving corps that will have Michael Gallup (knee) available for the first time this season. That reality could result in fewer looks than normal for Schultz, not to mention the fact that rookie tight ends Jake Ferguson and Peyton Hendershot may also snipe reps at the position. Nonetheless, Schultz is the unquestioned No. 1 TE in Dallas and should get most of the snaps among that trio.
-
Dawson Knox TE | BUF
Bills' Dawson Knox: In uniform Sunday
Knox (back/hip) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Ravens.
After logging limited practices this week, Knox approached the contest listed as questionable, but he'll give it a go Sunday and -- barring any setbacks -- will continue to lead the Bills tight end corps versus the Ravens. Three games into the season, Knox has logged a modest 9/71 stat line (on 11 targets) and has yet to score a TD after reaching the end zone nine times during the 2021 campaign. However, working in his favor in Week 4 is that Knox will be facing a Baltimore defense that has allowed a league-high average of 353.3 passing yards and seven TDs through the air (including two to TEs) in three games to date.
-
Mason Schreck TE | HOU
Texans' Mason Schreck: Elevated by Texans
Houston elevated Schreck to the active roster from the practice squad Saturday.
Schreck will get a chance to make his season debut during Sunday's game against the Chargers. The Texans also elevated Jordan Akins for Week 4, with the context of Brevin Jordan (ankle) already being ruled out and Pharaoh Brown (hip) still listed as questionable.
-
Dawson Knox TE | BUF
Bills' Dawson Knox: Likely to play Week 4
Knox (back), officially listed as questionable, is likely to play Sunday against the Ravens, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Knox logged limited practices throughout the week but was listed on the injury report with both hip and back issues. Even if he plays, Knox has had a disappointing start to the 2022 season, in part due to his usage. He has run 28.3 routes per game early on this season, which is down from his mark of 32.4 in 2021. Knox has seen some of the effects of that decline, as he's collected only nine receptions for 71 yards across three matchups to begin the campaign.
-
Ross Dwelley TE | CAR
49ers' Ross Dwelley: Questionable for Week 4
Dwelley (ribs) practiced in limited fashion Saturday and is questionable for Monday's game against the Rams, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Dwelley's limited session was his first practice participation of the week. Since the return of George Kittle, Dwelley has been relegated nearly exclusively to special teams duties.
-
J.P. Holtz TE | NO
Saints' J.P. Holtz: Promoted to active roster
Holtz was elevated to the active roster Saturday for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
Holtz has spent the first three weeks of the season on the Saints' practice squad and will be added to the active roster for the first time this season. He figures to play primarily on special teams.
-
Dalton Schultz TE | HOU
Cowboys' Dalton Schultz: Expected to play
Schultz (knee), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Commanders, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The Cowboys will likely make the decision official closer to the Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, but this is still encouraging news given Schultz missed the Week 3 contest against the Giants. The Cowboys are also expected to see the season debut of star wide receiver Michael Gallup, meaning the entirety of the team's pass-catching corps should be healthy, albeit without quarterback Dak Prescott, who remains out following thumb surgery.
-
Jordan Akins TE | JAC
Texans' Jordan Akins: Back on Houston's roster
Akins was elevated to the Texans' active roster Saturday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Akins saw four targets in last week's loss to the Bears, including a touchdown reception, and it's possible the 2018 third-round pick could see a similar workload again with Pharaoh Brown (hip/shoulder) listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Chargers and nominal pass-catching tight end Brevin Jordan (ankle) already ruled out. If Brown were unable to play, O.J. Howard and Akins would be the only active tight ends on the roster.
