Brevin Jordan TE | HOU
Texans' Brevin Jordan: Absent at practice to begin week
Jordan (ankle) wasn't present for the open portion of Wednesday's practice and will be listed as a non-participant on the Texans' first Week 4 injury report, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.
The ankle injury Jordan suffered in the Texans' Week 2 loss to Denver kept him from practicing Wednesday through Friday last week before he sat out Sunday's loss to the Bears. Jordan's continued absence from practice suggests he hasn't made much progress in his recovery, but he'll still have two more opportunities to get back on the field in some capacity before the Texans decide on his status for this weekend's game against the Chargers. If Jordan is sidelined for a second straight contest, Jordan Akins -- who caught three of four targets for 31 yards and a touchdown Week 3 -- would likely serve as the Texans' main pass-catching tight end.

Peyton Hendershot TE | KC
Cowboys' Peyton Hendershot: Catches three passes
Hendershot caught all three of his targets for 43 yards in Monday's 23-16 win over the Giants.
With veteran Dalton Schultz (knee) sidelined, Hendershot saw an increase in his playing time Monday. The undrafted rookie tight end played on 38 of the Cowboys' 64 offensive snaps, while fellow rookie tight end Jake Ferguson was on the field for 53 snaps. Despite being the No. 2 option at the position, it was Hendershot who did more with his limited opportunities, gaining 43 yards to Ferguson's 13 yards. There's a chance Schultz will return in Week 4, which would all but eliminate the insignificant fantasy potential that Hendershot has in the Cowboys' offense. If the veteran can't go, Hendershot would be extremely difficult to trust for relevant fantasy production in a Week 4 matchup against the Commanders.

Jake Ferguson TE | DAL
Cowboys' Jake Ferguson: Catches two passes in win
Ferguson caught two of three targets for 13 yards in Monday's 23-16 win over the Giants.
Ferguson played on 83 percent of the Cowboys' offensive snaps with starting tight end Dalton Schultz (knee) sidelined for the contest. Despite the rookie's increased involvement, he had little impact on the passing game. The Cowboys will host the Commanders in Week 4, and it's possible that Schultz will return to action. However, if the veteran is forced to miss more time, Ferguson would likely be the next man up again. With that said, the 23-year-old tight end did not show enough Monday to warrant much confidence in his ability to produce for fantasy purposes.

Albert Okwuegbunam TE | LV
Broncos' Albert Okwuegbunam: Catches one pass in win
Okwuegbunam caught one of two targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 11-10 win over the 49ers.
Okwuegbunam continued his disappointing start to the 2022 season, seeing just two targets for the second straight week. What's more concerning is that the 24-year-old played on just 24 of the Broncos' 74 offensive snaps, 11 fewer than fellow tight ends Eric Saubert and Eric Tomlinson. Fantasy managers hoping for Okwuegbunam to take a major step forward this season will have to take a wait-and-see approach as Denver works to repair an offense that has been disjointed through three weeks. Until then, the 6-foot-5, 258-pounder will be extremely difficult to trust for fantasy purposes when the Broncos visit the Raiders in Week 4.

Hunter Long TE | JAC
Dolphins' Hunter Long: Misses practice again
Long (ankle) is listed as a non-participant on Tuesday's practice report.
Long has already missed two straight games due to the ankle injury, and given his lack of on-field activity so far this week, he looks to be trending toward another absence Thursday in Cincinnati. The second-year tight end will be limited to a depth role behind Mike Gesicki and Durham Smythe whenever he's healthy.

Sean McKeon TE | IND
Sean McKeon: Sent back to practice squad
McKeon reverted to the Cowboys' practice squad Tuesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
McKeon received the bump to the active roster with Dalton Schultz (knee) unable to play. He saw 11 snaps on offense and nine on special teams, but he failed to tally any stats. Depending on Schultz' status for Week 4 against Washington, McKeon may be called upon again.
-
Hayden Hurst TE | LAC
Bengals' Hayden Hurst: Logs full practice
Hurst (groin) was a full participant in practice Tuesday, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.
Hurst was questionable going into Week 3, but he was able to suit up Sunday against the Jets. However, he played only 39 percent of the team's offensive snaps, less than No. 2 tight end Mitchell Wilcox's season-high 56 percent. After being labeled a limited participant in Monday's practice estimate, a move to full participant Tuesday suggests Hurst is on the mend, and he could receive a normal workload Thursday against the Dolphins.

Jacob Hollister TE | CAR
Jacob Hollister: Inks with practice squad
Hollister (undisclosed) signed with the Vikings' practice squad Tuesday.
Hollister had signed a one-year deal with the Raiders in the spring and was placed on IR on Aug. 30, but he was waived with an injury settlement Sept 2. Now fully recovered from the unknown injury, Hollister has found a home on the Vikings' practice squad, where he'll certainly work to get a chance with the active roster.

Noah Gray TE | KC
Chiefs' Noah Gray: Records longest reception of career
Gray recorded a 26-yard reception on two targets while playing 25 of the Chiefs' 59 offensive snaps in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Colts.
Gray's 26-yard catch and run with less than a minute left in the third quarter marked the longest reception through his first two seasons in the NFL. With snap shares ranging between 42 and 55 percent in each of the three games the Chiefs have played this season, Gray has carved out a larger role than anticipated behind top tight end Travis Kelce. Head coach Andy Reid hasn't been shy about having Gray and Kelce share the field together, but Gray typically functions as a blocker in those scenarios.

Josh Oliver TE | MIN
Ravens' Josh Oliver: Draws first targets of season
Oliver reeled in both of his targets for eight yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 37-26 win over the Patriots.
While filling a depth role at tight end behind Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely, Oliver's offensive snaps shares have ranged between 32 and 50 percent through three weeks. His workload is unlikely to change so long as both Andrews and Likely are available, but Oliver was at least able to make the most of his limited time on the field Sunday by collecting his first two targets of the season. He turned one of them into a one-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter, marking the first time that he's found paydirt since entering the NFL in 2019.
