  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Won't return Sunday

Strange (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Since the Jaguars designated Strange for return from injured reserve Wednesday, he logged a pair of limited practices before sitting out Friday's session. It's unclear if he may have tweaked the quad injury that has sidelined him since Week 6, but he at least isn't a candidate to be activated for Week 11 action. Among tight ends on Jacksonville's active roster, Hunter Long (hip/knee) also won't play Sunday, leaving Johnny Mundt and Quintin Morris as the options at the position.

  • Feleipe Franks TE | ATL

Falcons' Feleipe Franks: Questionable for Sunday

Franks (foot) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Panthers, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.

The 27-year-old popped up on the Falcons' injury report Friday as a limited practice participant, putting his status for Sunday's divisional matchup in question. Franks has not missed a game this season, playing 178 total snaps (171 on special teams, seven on offense) across nine contests.

  • Giants' Daniel Bellinger: Cleared to face Packers

Bellinger (groin) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Packers.

Bellinger practiced without limitations Friday after being limited Wednesday and Thursday. He's expected to occupy his usual role, focusing primarily on blocking while Theo Johnson runs more routes for a Giants offense that'll be operating with Jameis Winston under center with Jaxson Dart (concussion) sidelined for the time being.

  • Jeremy Ruckert TE | NYJ

Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Ties career high with four catches

Ruckert caught four of five targets for 23 yards in Thursday's 27-14 loss to the Patriots.

Ruckert tied for the team lead in catches with Mason Taylor, as Justin Fields frequently looked for his tight ends in the absence of top wide receiver Garrett Wilson (knee), who was placed on IR prior to the game. Taylor has a higher ceiling as a pass catcher than Ruckert, as the latter hasn't exceeded 28 yards in a game this season. Ruckert's four catches tied his career high, which he set in Week 5 against the Cowboys.

  • Dalton Schultz TE | HOU

Texans' Dalton Schultz: Back at practice Friday

Schultz (shoulder/illness) returned to practice Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Schultz, who continues to manage a shoulder injury and also was listed as dealing with an illness when he missed his second consecutive practice Thursday, is expected to play Sunday against the Titans, per Wilson. Friday's final injury report is destined to reveal whether the tight end heads into the weekend with a designation or fully cleared to face Tennessee.

  • Sam LaPorta TE | DET

Lions' Sam LaPorta: Not expected to practice Friday

LaPorta (back) isn't expected to practice Friday, Ben Raven of MLive.com reports.

LaPorta hasn't practiced at all this week, which led reporters to ask Lions coach Dan Campbell on Friday about his trust in backup tight end Brock Wright. Campbell responded, "Sky high," but he didn't shut the door on the possibility of LaPorta playing Sunday against the Eagles. It remains to be seen how the Lions list LaPorta on their final injury report Friday afternoon.

  • Dalton Kincaid TE | BUF

Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Ruled out for Sunday

Coach Sean McDermott noted Friday that Kincaid (hamstring) won't play Sunday against the Buccaneers, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.

Kincaid thus will target a potential return to action this coming Thursday, when the Bills face the Texans on the road. In Kincaid's absence this weekend, Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes are slated to handle Buffalo's tight end duties versus Tampa Bay, a context that makes Knox a streaming option to consider Week 11.

  • Dawson Knox TE | BUF

Bills' Dawson Knox: Chance to step up with Kincaid out

Knox could take on a larger role Sunday against the Buccaneers, as Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports that Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) has been ruled out.

Knox typically cedes the majority of pass-catching opportunities to Kincaid, but Kincaid's absence creates an opportunity for Knox and rookie firth-round pick Jackson Hawes to step up. In Kincaid's only previous absence of the season, Week 6 against the Falcons, Knox was targeted twice and scored a 19-yard touchdown on his only catch.

  • Julian Hill TE | MIA

Dolphins' Julian Hill: Set to return in Madrid

Hill (ankle) practiced without limitations Friday and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.

Hill's poised to return Sunday against the Commanders in Madrid following a three-game absence. He's expected to reclaim his role as Miami's top tight end in the ongoing absence of Darren Waller (pectoral). The Dolphins also have Greg Dulcich and Hayden Rucci at the position.

  • Ben Sinnott TE | WAS

Commanders' Ben Sinnott: Questionable after Friday's DNP

Sinnott (ankle) didn't practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

Sinnott's trending in the wrong direction, as he was added to Washington's injury report as a limited participant in practice Thursday and was unable to practice in any capacity Friday. John Bates and Colson Yankoff are available to provide depth behind Zach Ertz in Madrid against the Dolphins if Sinnott's declared out.
