Daniels was forced out of Sunday's game against the Bills with an ankle injury, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Daniels left in the second quarter before getting targeted. His departure leaves Maxx Williams and Dan Arnold as the only remaining healthy tight ends Sunday. If he's ruled out, Daniels needs to make a quick recovery ahead of Thursday's clash against the Seahawks.

The Vikings elevated Dillon to the active roster Sunday.

The undrafted free agent played one game for the Vikings last season, logging a targetless seven snaps on offense. Dillon is set for his 2020 debut with Irv Smith (groin) out of the lineup, and he'll slot in as the No. 3 tight end behind Kyle Rudolph and Tyler Conklin.

Smythe (concussion) is active for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

The 25-year-old suffered the concussion last week against the Cardinals, but he cleared the concussion protocol in time for Sunday's contest. Smythe should fill his usual role as Miami's No. 2 tight end.

Tonyan (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

The 26-year-old was considered questionable after cropping up on the injury report with the knee issue Thursday and missing practice Friday, but he'll take the field against the Jaguars. Tonyan should open the contest as Green Bay's No. 1 tight end, while Jace Sternberger and Marcedes Lewis are next up if he aggravates the injury.

Hockenson (toe) is active for Sunday's game against Washington.

The 2019 first-round pick was officially questionable to face the Football Team, though Ian Rapoport indicated in the early morning he was on track to play Week 10. Hockenson has five touchdowns through eight games and is averaging 4.3 catches and 45 yards per contest, but he could see more work in the passing game Sunday with top wideout Kenny Golladay (hip) unavailable.

Hockenson (toe), who is questionable for Sunday's game against Washington, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Hockenson was added to the Lions' Week 10 injury report after he failed to participate in Thursday's practice, but he returned to work Friday in a limited fashion. Confirmation of his status will arrive before the first wave of Sunday kickoffs, with the Lions facing the Football Team at 1 p.m. ET. Assuming he's active, Hockenson would represent one of the top tight-end plays of the Week 10 slate after recording either a touchdown reception or at least 50 yards receiving in each of his eight games to date.

Knox's teammate Tyler Kroft has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list and won't play in Sunday's game at Arizona.

This pretty much ensures that Knox will be out there for any set that requires a tight end serving as a wide receiver Sunday. Knox has had all sorts of issues this season between a concussion, calf injury and his own positive COVID-19 diagnosis, but if there's ever going to be a week for him to get going, this would be the candidate. Buffalo and Arizona feature two of the league's best offenses to date, so the contest has some shootout potential.

The 49ers elevated Helm to the active roster Saturday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

Helm was brought up last week to serve as depth at tight end following news that George Kittle (foot) is expected to be done for the season. Helm is back with the active roster for Sunday's game versus the Saints, and he will line up as the No. 4 tight end.

The Broncos elevated Fumagalli to the active roster Saturday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

Fumagalli signed with the practice squad after Albert Okwuegbunam was diagnosed with a torn ACL, and he'll make his 2020 debut Sunday against the Raiders. The Wisconsin product played 11 games for the Broncos last season and recorded a 6-38-1 line, and he'll slot in as the No. 3 tight end behind Noah Fant and Nick Vannett.

Kmet (groin) is considered questionable for Monday's game versus the Vikings.

The second-round pick out of Notre Dame hasn't taken off this season, operating as the No. 2 behind Jimmy Graham. He's in danger of sitting out for the first time in his career, as he made his first practice appearance Saturday when he was a limited participant. Even with the progress he's made, the Bears may opt to rest Kmet with a Week 11 bye on the docket. If he is indeed out, Demetrius Harris and J.P. Holtz figure to see more playing time.
