Burt cleared waivers Sunday and landed on the Patriots' practice squad, Andrew Callahan of The Springfield Republican reports.

The Patriots are set to carry three tight ends on the active roster in 2020, but Burt will stick around in case an injury surfaces. Burt served mainly in a run-blocking role at Boston College, so even if he's activated, his fantasy upside is minimal.

Brown was waived by Cleveland on Sunday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

Brown initially made the 53-man roster but was cut after Cleveland claimed Joe Jackson and Vincent Taylor off waivers. The 26-year-old tight end served in a run-blocking role with the Browns last season, so he could be retained on the practice squad.

Togiai was claimed off waivers by the Colts on Sunday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Togiai was cut loose by the Eagles on Saturday but didn't have to wait long to find a new team. The Oregon State product finds an interesting home in Indianapolis, especially considering Jack Doyle (neck) and Trey Burton (calf) are dealing with injury. Togiai could see some pass catching work, but when those two are healthy, he'll likely be used as a blocking tight end in 2020.

The Broncos placed Fumagalli (abdomen) on the waived/injured list Saturday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.

Fumagalli underwent a procedure Tuesday, but he was only expected to be sidelined for about a week. The Wisconsin product has had lingering abdomen issues, and he'll revert to the team's injured reserve should he go unclaimed off waivers.

The Rams received multiple calls inquiring about the availability of Everett, but the team declined to entertain them, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

Everett is in the final year of his rookie contract, and while it's probably safe to say his tenure with the Rams has been a disappointment since being selected in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, there have been plenty of promising signs from the athletic tight end. Everett has flashed big-play potential in limited playing time over the past three years with 14 receptions going for more than 20 yards and seven touchdowns on only 142 targets. Additionally, the Rams are expected to utilize more two-TE formations, and there are enough weapons in the Los Angeles offense to create mismatches to capitalize on. Everett shouldn't be written off just yet, and while he could be a frustrating player to rely on week-in, week-out, expect a number of solid showings throughout the year. In particular, he could prove to be a solid low-priced target for DFS players and/or a streaming option in season-long formats.

Burt was waived by the Patriots on Saturday, Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald reports.

The undrafted free agent was paid an $80,000 in guaranteed money -- a high figure for tight ends -- but he couldn't carve out a role in the Patriots' offense. The team clearly thinks highly of Burt's potential, although he's more of a run-blocking asset than anything since he recorded just 212 receiving yards in his senior season at Boston College.

Schreck was waived by the Bengals on Saturday, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports.

Schreck saw action in two games for the Bengals in 2019, failing to secure a fantasy-relevant stat while adding 19 special team's snaps. He'll likely look for a depth role or practice squad spot elsewhere around the league, as the Bengals will roll with C.J. Uzomah, Drew Sample and Cethan Carter at tight end to start 2020.

Thompson was waived by the Panthers on Saturday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.

Thompson hasn't played an NFL snap since entering the league as an undrafted free agent in 2017.

Ricci was waived by Carolina on Saturday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.

The undrafted free agent out of Western Michigan was vying for a reserve tight-end role, but the Panthers opted to keep just two tight ends -- Ian Thomas (toe) and Chris Manhertz. Ricci proved to have pass-catching upside in college, hauling in 51 passes for 642 yards and eight touchdowns in his senior season, so the Panthers may look to develop him on the practice squad.

Butler was waived by New England on Saturday, Jeff Howe of The Athletic reports.

Butler was a training camp addition for the Patriots in August after being let go by the Raiders. The 27-year-old has spent time with both the Raiders and Lions in his career, mainly on the practice squad, as he's yet to see regular-season action. The Patriots will roll with Devin Asiasi (foot), Dalton Keene and Ryan Izzo at tight end heading into 2020.
