  • Tyler Kroft TE | MIA

    Bills' Tyler Kroft: Injures ankle

Kroft suffered a left ankle injury at Thursday's practice, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

After missing the first two games of the season while recovering from a broken right foot, Kroft looked poised to make his season debut Sunday versus Cincinnati following his full participation in practice Wednesday. While it's fortunate that Kroft's setback Thursday wasn't to his right leg, the injury nonetheless clouds his availability for Week 3. Dawson Knox would continue to act as the Bills' top pass-catching tight end if Kroft is forced to miss another contest.

  • Jimmy Graham TE | NO

Packers' Jimmy Graham: Another DNP on Thursday

Graham (groin) didn't practice Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Graham has exchanged a finger injury from Week 1 and 2 with a groin issue this week. With health concerns continuing to bite the veteran tight end, the Packers promoted Evan Baylis from the practice squad to join Marcedes Lewis and Robert Tonyan on the 53-man roster. Friday's injury report will give a better sense of Graham's potential to play Sunday versus the Broncos.

  • Mark Andrews TE | BAL

Ravens' Mark Andrews: Back at practice

Andrews (foot) returned to practice Thursday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

It remains to be see if he'll be listed as a full or limited participant, but Andrews' return to practice Thursday, in any capacity, puts him on track to play Sunday against the Chiefs.

  • Donald Parham: Let go from practice squad

The Redskins cut Parham from the practice squad Tuesday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Parham ultimately spent less than a week on Washington's practice squad, having been cut to make room for fellow tight end Drew Belcher. The undrafted rookie out of Stetson will look to earn an opportunity elsewhere in the league.

  • David Njoku TE | LAC

Browns' David Njoku: Suffers broken wrist

Njoku suffered a broken wrist Monday night against the Jets, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

As a result, the tight end is expected to miss at least a month, and possibly more if he needs surgery. Next up for the team's tight end looks while Njoku is out are Demetrius Harris, Pharaoh Brown and Ricky Seals-Jones.

  • David Njoku TE | LAC

Browns' David Njoku: May need wrist surgery

Njoku, who is dealing with a concussion, also suffered a wrist injury Monday night against the Jets, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Per the report, Njoku is seeking additional medical opinions at this stage, but he may need to undergo surgery to address the issue. His status for Sunday's game against the Rams, at a minimum, is thus cloudy. Next up for the team's tight end looks in the event that Njoku misses time are Demetrius Harris, Pharaoh Brown and Ricky Seals-Jones.

  • Tyler Higbee TE | LAR

Rams' Tyler Higbee: No practice Wednesday

Coach Sean McVay said Higbee (chest) won't practice Wednesday, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Higbee left Sunday's game versus the Saints with what initially was termed a chest injury, but an ensuing visit to the hospital determined that an injured lung was the reason that he was coughing up blood. His absence from the first Week 3 session isn't a great sign for his immediate availability, but he'll have a pair of chances Thursday and Friday to show whether an appearance is possible Sunday at Cleveland.

  • C.J. Uzomah TE | PHI

    Bengals' C.J. Uzomah: Limited Wednesday

Uzomah was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to a foot injury, Marisa Contipelli of the Bengals' official site reports.

The details of Uzomah's foot injury remain undisclosed, but it's a positive sign that he wasn't held out of Wednesday's practice entirely. If the fifth-year tight end is able to ramp up his practice participation Thursday and Friday he'll improve his chances of suiting up Week 3 against the Bills. Uzomah was utilized mostly as a blocker Week 2 and could reprise a similar role Sunday in Buffalo due to the Bengals' offensive line woes.

  • Jimmy Graham TE | NO

Packers' Jimmy Graham: Dealing with groin injury

Graham (groin) was a non-participant at Wednesday's walkthrough, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Graham has shed the finger injury that forced appearances on every Packers practice report to date, but a groin issue has replaced it, keeping him off the field during the team's first Week 3 session. While he has two more practices to prove his health, Marcedes Lewis and Robert Tonyan are waiting in the wings for elevated roles.

  • Dallas Goedert TE | PHI

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: No activity Wednesday

Goedert (calf) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated injury report.

Deemed day-to-day by coach Doug Pederson earlier Wednesday, Goedert was a resident of the recovery room as opposed to being on the field with his teammates. Goedert has a pair of practices to prove his health before week's end, but the Eagles covered themselves in the event of a Week 3 absence with Tuesday's activation of Alex Ellis from the practice squad.
