Hudson brought in two of five targets for 19 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers' 17-15 preseason win over the Cowboys on Thursday, which helped him secure a spot on the final 53-man roster.

Hudson began shining in training camp practices and never let up, completing a rather improbable journey to a spot on the final 53-man roster with his third touchdown grab of the preseason Thursday. Hudson's blocking still has plenty of room for development, but he's proven to be an above-average downfield target at 6-foot-5. The Southern Arkansas product could still find snaps from scrimmage hard to come by in the opening of the regular season, however, with O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate naturally dominating the majority of playing time at the position, and Anthony Auclair (calf) also set to log time as an in-line blocker.

Hollister signed with Seattle's practice squad on Sunday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

It was surprising that Hollister was cut from the 53-man roster considering Ed Dickson's knee injury isn't resolved yet. However, he was low on production during two years in the league, and the Seahawks have blocking tight end Will Dissly ready to rock. If Dickson's knee issues continue, Hollister likely will be brought up.

Although Kroft (foot) was not placed on the Bills' PUP list to start the coming season, it's unclear when he'll make his first game appearance, Nate Mendelson of the team's official site reports. "I don't know which game he's going to come back yet, that's still undetermined," GM Brandon Beane noted.

With Kroft on the mend, it remains to be seen how his practice participation level is classified leading up to Week 1. Given the lengthy layoff the tight end has endured, he's far from a lock to be made active for the Bills' season opener. Added clarity on that front could arrive as soon as Wednesday, upon the release of the team's first injury report of the season.

Mack went unclaimed on waivers and signed with New Orleans' practice squad Sunday, Amie Just of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

The Saints originally selected Mack in the seventh round of this year's draft, but he was unable to survive the slew of roster cuts Saturday and was waived by the team. Mack has potential as a blocking tight end and will look to develop on the Saints' practice squad this season.

Graham (finger) returned to practice Sunday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports

Graham injury a finger during practice Aug. 18 and subsequently was held out for the final two weeks of the preseason. The Packers never seemed worried about his availability for Thursday's regular-season opener in Chicago, but it's worth noting how poorly Graham played late last season after he suffered a broken thumb Week 11. He had a 21-184-0 receiving line on 33 targets over the final six games, dropping a few passes along the way. That said, Graham's recent injury doesn't seem to be as serious as the one he played through last year. He should be a big part of the Green Bay passing attack in a difficult Week 1 matchup.

Arnold signed with the Saints' practice squad Sunday, Luke Johnson of USA Today reports.

Arnold was waived Saturday, but will be able to stick around in New Orleans after going unclaimed. The Saints seem comfortable with Jared Cook and Josh Hill as their two options at tight end. Arnold appeared in 10 games last season with New Orleans, catching 12 passes for 150 yards and a touchdown.

Seals-Jones was claimed by the Browns on Sunday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Seals-Jones showed promise over his two seasons with the Cardinals in 2017 and 2018. Last year he recorded 34 receptions for 343 yards and a touchdown. Now with the Browns, he'll figure to back up David Njoku.

Hollister was waived by Seattle on Saturday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Hollister appeared in 23 games for the Patriots the past two seasons, playing primarily on special teams, before joining the Seahawks this past offseason. The third-year tight end will be a free agent if he clears waivers.

The Patriots cut Saubert on Saturday.

Saubert was traded to the Patriots via the Falcons this offseason for a seventh-round pick, but failed to stick with the team. He will look to latch on with another team elsewhere to earn a depth role.

Allen (undisclosed) was released by the Dolphins on Saturday after reaching an injury settlement, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Allen suffered his injury in the latter half of the preseason, and it's unclear how severe the issue is. He's now a free agent, and he'll be able to sign and play for another team as soon as he's healthy.
