Seals-Jones caught one of two targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Rams in Week 3.

Seals-Jones is one of the possible beneficiaries of tight end David Njoku's wrist injury, but he played just six snaps against the Rams. Demetrius Harris was the clear winner in terms of playing time (65 of 72 snaps), and he scored the Browns' lone touchdown. However, Seals-Jones offers the most upside as a receiver at tight end, if he can work his way into more playing time.

Akins caught three of five targets for 73 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Chargers in Week 3.

Akins was wide open on his first TD, which was a 15-yard strike. The second touchdown was a 53-yard catch-and-run on a busted play, kept alive by quarterback Deshaun Watson's scrambling before he found Akins alone in the middle of the field. From there, he went untouched down the sideline. Akins established single-game highs in targets, catches and yards while scoring the first touchdowns of his two-year tenure in Houston. The Texans got their tight ends involved Week 3, a departure from previous gameplans. Akins and Darren Fells combined for 11 targets, eight catches, 122 yards and three touchdowns. The heavy involvement may be a one-game anomaly, but it could develop into a more consistent element of the offense if opponents devote more resources to Houston's wideouts.

Vannett caught one of two targets for nine yards in Sunday's 33-27 loss to the Saints.

Vannett's firmly behind Dissly on the depth chart, as the latter registered six receptions for 62 yards and a score in this contest. Considering Vannett didn't have consistent fantasy value last year when Dissly was injured, Dissly's success is more due to his skill than Russell Wilson's willingness to throw to tight ends.

Hill did not attempt a pass in Week 3 against the Seahawks. He did rush the ball once for five yards and also hauled in one reception for an additional five yards.

The quarterback controversy in New Orleans appears to be short-lived. Teddy Bridgewater was clearly the Saints signal-caller in the absence of Drew Brees (thumb), as Hill played only two snaps under center. While the team could choose to get him more involved in Week 4 against the Cowboys, Hill remains irrelevant for fantasy purposes for the time being.

Kittle caught six of eight targets for 57 yards in Sunday's 24-20 win over the Steelers.

The catches, yards and targets led all San Francisco receivers on the day, but most of Kittle's production came in the first half, making his final line a little disappointing. Eight different Niners caught passes in this one, and while the tight end remains Jimmy Garoppolo's most consistent option, he's not yet coming close to last year's pace due to the extra competition for targets.

Hooper caught six of seven targets for a total of 66 receiving yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 27-24 loss to Indianapolis.

Through the first two weeks of the 2019 campaign, Hooper had shown that his Pro Bowl nomination of last year was no fluke by compiling 13 receptions for 111 yards on 15 targets. What had eluded him prior to Sunday's showdown with the Colts was the ever-valuable touchdown, but he broke through with two second-half scores to snap his six-game drought. In Week 4, Hooper and the Falcons will be going up against a Tennessee defense that's given up a tight end touchdown in three consecutive games to open up the season.

Dissly caught six of seven targets for 62 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-27 loss to the Saints.

Dissly's touchdown came as time expired in the fourth quarter and there was no longer a chance of comeback, but it's still impressive that Dissly now has three touchdowns in three games this year. The second-year tight end was only out-targeted by Tyler Lockett (seven), and Dissly continues to prove the run-blocking label he had coming out of college was incorrect. He's a top waiver-wire pickup going into Week 4, as the Cardinals have allowed 319 receiving yards and five touchdowns to tight ends through three games.

Engram caught six of eight targets for 113 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 32-31 win over the Buccaneers.

Engram led the team in receiving yardage while finishing second in targets and catches. He averaged an impressive 18.8 yards per reception thanks in large part to a 75-yard touchdown catch and run in the third quarter. Engram has performed regardless of who's been at quarterback this season, totaling 23 catches for 277 yards and a pair of touchdowns through three games. He'll look to keep it up next Sunday at home against the Redskins.

Thomas caught his only target for a 13-yard gain during Sunday's 27-24 victory over the Eagles.

Thomas remains the clear No. 3 tight end behind T.J. Hockenson and Jesse James. He's yet to draw more than a single target in any game this year and that's unlikely to change as long as the guys ahead of him stay healthy.
