Higbee could miss time with a lung issue, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Higbee's exit from Sunday's game against the Saints was initially attributed to a chest injury, but after he was brought to the hospital as a precaution, it was determined he injured his lung. Though the report notes that the issue caused the tight end to cough up blood, Higbee's absence is not expected to be a long one. For any length of time he misses, Gerald Everett would be in line for added snaps.

Gesicki caught one of two targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 43-0 loss to the Patriots.

Gesicki's lack of Week 2 production was due in part to the Dolphins offense struggling as a whole, though it's still not encouraging to see the second-year tight end fail to draw notable targets even with Albert Wilson (calf/hip) sidelined. DeVante Parker, Preston Williams, Jakeem Grant, Kenyan Drake and Kalen Ballage all saw higher target volume than Gesicki during Sunday's loss. Gesicki isn't on the fantasy radar as a week-to-week contributor.

Swaim caught three of four targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 13-12 loss at Houston.

The 25-year-old found himself splitting the workload for the second straight game with James O'Shaughnessy (four catches for 28 yards). Swaim has seven receptions for 31 yards through two weeks and doesn't appear to be a worthwhile option in the Jaguars' passing game.

Hill caught two of three targets for 16 yards in the Saints' 27-9 loss to the Rams on Sunday.

Hill surprisingly didn't attempt a pass or take a carry in Sunday's loss, seeing all his production come on two receptions. He has little standalone value outside of deeper leagues at this point, though he will move into the top backup quarterback role behind Teddy Bridgewater if Drew Brees (hand) is forced to miss time.

Akins caught two of three targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 13-12 win over the Jaguars.

One of Akins' targets came in the red zone and resulted in an incomplete pass, the first red-zone target for a Houston tight end in 2019. He played fewer snaps (39) than Darren Fells (44), which is to be expected when Houston favors the ground attack in its game plan. Through two weeks, Akins leads Texans tight ends with three catches and 42 yards.

Kittle pulled in all three of his targets for 54 yards in Sunday's 41-17 win over the Bengals.

Kittle saw his usage take a big hit in this one, as Jimmy Garoppolo looked to his wideouts and running backs for production in a blowout win. The 25-year-old still posted decent yardage, most of which came on a big 36-yard gain in which the tight end stiff armed through two defenders before being brought down. Kittle remains a high-upside tight end due to his tremendous athleticism, but if the rest of the 49ers' offensive units continue to click like they did Sunday, then they may not need to lean heavily on their star tight end as much. It is also worth noting that Kittle had two touchdowns called back on penalties Week 1, so he remains one of the team's better red-zone options, despite having zero scores through two games.

Ertz caught eight passes (on 16 targets) for 72 yards in Sunday's 24-20 loss to Atlanta.

Ertz actually saw more targets than he did in his Week 1 explosion -- eight catches, 154 yards and two touchdowns -- but the production paled in comparison. It was still a solid performance from the start tight end, especially in PPR formats. Ertz may end up seeing double-digit targets yet again next week against the Lions, as the Eagles' starting wideouts (Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson) both left Sunday's contest and never returned.

Goedert's injury has been clarified as a calf injury, and he's officially listed as questionable for the rest of Sunday's matchup with the Falcons, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Goedert hasn't been able to enter the game as of this writing.

Waller caught six of seven targets for a team-high 63 yards in Sunday's 28-10 loss to the Chiefs.

The tight end was productive once again, although the Raiders' passing game as a whole took a step backwards from Week 1. Waller already has new career highs in catches (13) and receiving yards (133) on the season, and he appears to be Derek Carr's No. 2 option behind Tyrell Williams -- a role that should make him a valuable fantasy asset the rest of the way.

Kelce caught seven of nine targets for 107 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-10 win over the Raiders.

The tight end was on the end of Patrick Mahomes' third TD pass of the second quarter (the QB would add one more before the half was done), hauling in a 27-yard strike. Kelce now has 195 yards through the first two games of the year, and with Tyreek Hill (collarbone) out of action, he's an even more crucial weapon in the Chiefs' arsenal.
