Paul Butler TE | LV
Paul Butler: Waived by Raiders
Butler was waived by the Raiders on Saturday, the Associated Press reports.
There wasn't room for Butler on the Raiders' 53-man roster with Jared Cook, Lee Smith and Derek Carrier handling the duties at tight end.

Pharaoh Brown TE | IND
Pharaoh Brown: Waived by Oakland
Brown was waived by the Raiders on Friday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Brown failed to make the 53-man roster as the Raiders elected to keep Jared Cook, Lee Smith and Derek Carrier at tight end. The University of Oregon product played 39 offensive snaps in two games with Oakland as a rookie in 2017.

Evan Engram TE | DEN
Giants' Evan Engram: Making progress
Engram (concussion) appeared to be participating in individual drills Monday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
This represents another good sign with regard to the tight end's availability for Sunday's season opener against the Jaguars. Added clarity on that front should arrive no later than Wednesday, when the Giants are required to submit an official practice participation/injury report.

Je'Ron Hamm TE | IND
Je'Ron Hamm: Waived by LAC
Hamm was waived by the Chargers on Saturday, Ricky Henne of the team's official site reports.
Hamm was originally claimed off waivers by the Chargers in mid-August, but he was essentially a preseason body for a team thin at tight end. He hasn't seen regular-season action since appearing in five games with the 49ers during the 2016 campaign.

Braedon Bowman TE | NO
Chargers' Braedon Bowman: Waived by Chargers
Bowman was waived by the Chargers on Saturday, Ricky Henne of the team's official site reports.
Bowman's brief NFL career has included just one target in three games, so his lack of experience didn't help in his quest for a roster spot. The Chargers re-signed veteran Antonio Gates on Sunday to provide additional depth behind Virgil Green.

MyCole Pruitt TE | PIT
MyCole Pruitt: Let go by Texans
Pruitt was waived by the Texans on Sunday.
Pruitt initially made the roster as a fourth tight end, but was deemed expendable after Houston claimed Natrell Jamerson off waivers from the Saints.

Troy Fumagalli TE | MIN
Broncos' Troy Fumagalli: Heads to IR
The Broncos placed Fumagalli (sports hernia) on injured reserve Saturday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic Denver reports.
Fumagalli didn't play this preseason after battling a sports hernia all offseason. The rookie out of Wisconsin had a shot to make some noise in an untapped tight end corps, and he could be eligible to return later in the year. Fumagalli is a solid run blocker, but he also is a skilled pass catcher, recording 46 receptions for 547 yards and four touchdowns his senior season.
