Dwayne Allen TE | NE
Patriots' Dwayne Allen: Records season-high 56 snaps
Allen was on the field for a season-high 56 out of a possible 61 snaps on offense in Monday night's 27-20 loss to the Dolphins.
In the process, Allen logged two catches (on five targets) for 10 yards. While the one-game absence of Rob Gronkowski (suspension) led to more playing for Allen in Week 14, the Patriots didn't run their two-tight-end package Monday, per ESPN's Mike Reiss, instead favoring three-wideout alignments in the contest. Allen will revert to a backup/complementary role this coming Sunday against the Steelers, with Gronkowski's return to action on tap.

Ricky Seals-Jones TE | IND
Cardinals' Ricky Seals-Jones: Ekes out 20 yards Sunday
Seals-Jones corralled one of three passes for 20 yards during Sunday's 12-7 win against the Titans.
Seals-Jones broke out during Blaine Gabbert's first three starts as a Cardinal, averaging three catches (on 5.3 targets) for 56.7 yards and one touchdown per game. While Seals-Jones was expected to keep up the pace against Tennessee's lower-tier pass defense, the Cardinals' air attack instead took a step back, with Gabbert capped at 178 passing yards and Larry Fitzgerald pacing the team with 44 yards receiving. Moreover, Seals-Jones ranked behind fellow tight ends Jermaine Gresham and Troy Niklas in terms of snap count -- 18 (of 65) on offense versus 49 and 19, respectively -- meaning his workload may not be enough to produce consistent results.
-
David Njoku TE | LAC
Browns' David Njoku: Shut down Sunday
Njoku finished with one reception (two targets) for three yards during Sunday's 27-21 overtime loss to the Packers.
Coming off a career game in Week 13, the rookie tight end earned nine more offensive snaps than Seth DeValve, though his stat sheet failed to reflect that. DeShone Kizer failed to involve Njoku in the offense, as most of his time was spent slinging the ball to Josh Gordon and Corey Coleman. Njoku has put together an impressive rookie campaign with four touchdowns, but until he gets more involved in the offense, his value as a fantasy player has its limits.

George Kittle TE | SF
49ers' George Kittle: Continues to play second fiddle
Kittle caught two passes (two targets) for 10 yards in Sunday's 26-16 victory over the Texans.
This was the second consecutive week where we saw veteran Garrett Celek not only out-snap the rookie (61 to 20), but also outpace him in production as well. The developing timeshare was already damaging to Kittle's chances of being a standard league fantasy asset, but it now appears that he has become the clear-cut backup to Celek going forward.

Tyler Higbee TE | LAR
Rams' Tyler Higbee: Looks fading in passing attack
Higbee played 34 of 48 offensive snaps but wasn't targeted during Sunday's 43-35 loss to Philadelphia.
After a respectable showing Week 12 against New Orleans -- three receptions for 48 yards -- Higbee has only been targeted twice the past two games. He remains atop the depth chart, but rookie tight end Gerald Everett has been more involved in the passing attack, including catching a touchdown last week against Arizona. While the changing of the guard might not fully happen over the final weeks of the 2017 campaign, the writing is on the wall that Everett will likely leapfrog Higbee for good next season.
-
Blake Bell TE | KC
Vikings' Blake Bell: Increased playing time in Week 13
Bell had two receptions for seven yards on two targets in Sunday's 31-24 loss at Carolina.
Bell played 31 of the offense's 74 snaps, as he saw playing time with No. 2 tight end David Morgan sidelined with a concussion. Bell is unlikely to make a notable impact in the passing game even if Morgan remains sidelined.
-
Jesse James TE | LV
Steelers' Jesse James: Sets career highs in receptions and yards
James caught 10 of 12 targets for 97 yards in Pittsburgh's 39-38 win over Baltimore on Sunday.
James had the best game of his career, exceeding his previous bests in receptions (six) and yards (49), although he failed to score for a fourth straight game. With just three touchdowns this season and just one since Week 1, it is hard to justify starting James in fantasy playoffs against a Patriots defense that had kept opposing tight ends out of the end zone for the past six games.
-
Hunter Henry TE | NE
Chargers' Hunter Henry: Another strong performance Sunday
Henry hauled in four passes (on six targets) for 50 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's victory over the Redskins.
Henry turned in a third-straight solid performance in Week 14, bringing in an eight-yard scoring toss from quarterback Philip Rivers in the first quarter. With the Chargers offense rolling and Henry serving at a fairly shallow tight end position, he will be a great fantasy option in most formats over the last three weeks of the season.

Phillip Supernaw TE | TEN
Titans' Phillip Supernaw: Suffers ankle injury
Supernaw sustained an ankle injury in Sunday's 12-7 loss to the Cardinals, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
Supernaw failed to catch his lone target of the game, and the severity of the injury remains unclear. The 27-year-old's status for Week 15 isn't likely to become clear until the Titans resume practice Wednesday.

Evan Engram TE | DEN
Giants' Evan Engram: Totals 54 receiving yards
Engram caught four of seven passes for 54 yards during Sunday's 30-10 loss to the Cowboys.
Engram led the team in receiving yardage while finishing third in targets, but he struggled to produce much outside of a 35-yard gain in the second quarter. This was still a respectable showing from the rookie, given the struggles of the rest of the offense, but fantasy owners were likely left wanting more at a crucial stage of the season. Engram will face a tough matchup as he attempts to bounce back next week against the Eagles.
