Andrew Quarless TE | DET
Packers' Andrew Quarless: Won't be activated for Thursday's game
Quarless (knee) won't be activated for Thursday's game at Detroit, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Once the Packers cleared Quarless to take part in practice Monday, he was able to handle some reps each day this week, but it wasn't enough to appease the mind of the training and medical staffs. His next chance to return to action arrives on Dec. 13 against the Cowboys.

Zach Ertz TE | WAS
Eagles' Zach Ertz: Practices in full Wednesday
Ertz (concussion) practiced in full Wednesday.
Ertz was unable to emerge from the concussion protocol in time for last Thursday's win at Detroit, but his unhinged showing this Wednesday indicates that he's been given the all clear from an independent neurologist. Expect his availability for Sunday's game in New England to be clarified in due time.

Larry Donnell TE | BAL
Giants' Larry Donnell: Next MRI in a 'couple of weeks'
Donnell said Wednesday that the next MRI on his neck will occur in a "couple of weeks," Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports.
Donnell is already in danger of missing the rest of the season, but at least his immediate playing status is clear, as he likely won't suit up in the interim. In the meantime, Will Tye will act as the Giants' starting tight end.

Eagles' Zach Ertz: Practicing Tuesday
Ertz (concussion) is practicing Tuesday, NJ.com's Eliot Shorr-Parks reports.
Ertz did get in one limited practice prior to a Thanksgiving loss to the Lions. Although he's yet to make it all the way through the NFL's concussion protocol, the tight end seemingly has a good shot to return for Sunday's game against the Patriots. Quarterback Sam Bradford (shoulder) will also practice Tuesday and could be back for Sunday's game, though it's not clear that his presence would help Ertz's value, as Mark Sanchez seems to love throwing to the 25-year-old tight end.

Andrew Quarless TE | DET
Packers' Andrew Quarless: Sentenced to probation
Quarless (knee) was sentenced to one-year of probation for a July incident in which he discharged a firearm in public, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
With the justice system handing down its decision, the NFL will likely weigh in on the matter in due time, potentially in the form of a suspension. Legal woes aside, he returned to practice Monday, but the Packers weren't required to release an official designation, as he remains on the IR/designated-to-return list. If he makes the requisite progress this week, he could suit up Thursday at Detroit for the first time since Week 3.

Jimmy Graham TE | NO
Seahawks' Jimmy Graham: Placed on injured reserve
Graham (knee) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
After head coach Pete Carroll revealed that Graham sustained a torn patellar tendon in his right knee this weekend, it was inevitable that the tight end would land on injured reserve, which officially ends his first campaign with the Seahawks. A consistent threat for Russell Wilson in the passing attack, Graham was unable to match his stature as a Saint, accruing 48 catches (on 74 targets) for 605 yards and two touchdowns across 11 games. For the rest of the season and Seattle's potential appearance in the playoffs, Luke Willson will serve as the top tight end, while Cooper Helfet remains in reserve.

Marcedes Lewis TE | DEN
Jaguars' Marcedes Lewis: Has one catch Sunday
Lewis caught one pass for 24 yards in Sunday's loss to San Diego.
Lewis continues to have a quiet season with free agent addition Julius Thomas stepping in as the unquestioned No. 1 tight end. The UCLA product has only 121 yards on 11 catches on the season, while Thomas nearly eclipsed that total on Sunday, as he finished with nine catches for 116 yards and a score. Barring an injury to Thomas, Lewis remains a poor fantasy option in most formats.
