  • Jordan Akins TE | JAC

Browns' Jordan Akins: Strong PPR output in loss

Akins brought in six of eight targets for 49 yards in Sunday's 20-3 loss to Miami.

Akins did a bang-up job filling in for injured starting tight end David Njoku (knee) in Sunday's loss to the Dolphins. The veteran backup finished with a season-high 49 yards while setting another season best in receptions (six). If Njoku is unable to suit up against the Jets next Sunday, then Akins would make a formidable PPR option in Week 18.

  • Jonnu Smith TE | PIT

Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Catches only TD thrown for MIA

Smith had three receptions on four targets for 26 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-3 win over Cleveland.

Smith continued his second-half surge with another strong fantasy effort Sunday. The veteran tight end inched closer to his career high of eight touchdown receptions (which he set in 2020) while padding an already impressive 79-828-7 receiving line in his first season with Miami. Smith remains a high-end play heading into a Week 18 matchup against the Jets next Sunday.

  • Jake Ferguson TE | DAL

Cowboys' Jake Ferguson: Unremarkable day in loss

Ferguson secured three of five targets for 18 yards and lost a fumble in the Cowboys' 41-7 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.

Ferguson tied Jalen Tolbert for second on the Cowboys in receptions and was also the runner-up in targets, but he wasn't able to parlay his opportunities into any meaningful production. Additionally, the third-year tight end's second-quarter fumble at the Cowboys' 36-yard line following a six-yard grab helped set up an Eagles field goal while the game was still within reach for Dallas. Ferguson will look to close out the season in much better fashion in Week 18 against the Commanders.

  • Payne Durham TE | TB

Buccaneers' Payne Durham: First career TD in win

Durham brought in two of three targets for 36 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers' 48-14 win over the Panthers on Sunday.

The second-year tight end once again filled a lead role due to Cade Otton (knee) being sidelined and got in on the fun of Baker Mayfield's five-touchdown day. Durham secured a five-yard scoring grab with just under six minutes remaining in the third quarter for his first NFL touchdown, and his yardage total served as a new career high. Durham will reprise his role in the Week 18 regular-season finale against the Saints if Otton remains sidelined.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Big gain on one catch

Calcaterra secured one of two targets for 34 yards in the Eagles' 41-7 win over the Cowboys on Sunday.

Calcaterra bounced back to an extent from a blanking against the Commanders in Week 16, recording one of his signature chunk gains on his one reception. Calcaterra continues to operate as the No. 1 tight end with Dallas Goedert (IR-knee) sidelined, but the former hasn't seen more than three targets in a game since Week 9. Calcaterra and the Eagles close out the season against the Giants at home in Week 18.

  • Dalton Kincaid TE | BUF

Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Just two catches in Week 17

Kincaid caught both of his targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 40-14 win over the Jets.

Kincaid finished sixth on the team in receiving yards as Josh Allen spread the ball around in the lopsided win. The talented tight end hasn't been much of a factor for a while, having exceeded 32 yards only once since Week 7. His next chance to snap this slump likely won't come until the playoffs, as the Bills' starters should play sparingly or not at all in Week 18 against the Patriots.

  • Tyler Conklin TE | DET

Jets' Tyler Conklin: Season-high eight catches in loss

Conklin caught all eight of his targets for 57 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 40-14 loss to the Bills. He also caught a two-point conversion.

Most of Conklin's production came in the fourth quarter after the Jets turned to Tyrod Taylor under center. Taylor found Conklin for a two-point conversion after a Garrett Wilson touchdown, then Conklin caught a 20-yard touchdown pass to round out the scoring with 1:55 remaining. Two of Conklin's three highest yardage totals this season have come in the last two weeks and he set a season high in catches Sunday, giving him some late-season momentum ahead of the Week 18 finale against the Dolphins.

  • C.J. Uzomah TE | PHI

Eagles' C.J. Uzomah: Questionable to return Sunday

Uzomah (abdomen) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

The tight end did not record a stat in a backup role to Grant Calcaterra before exiting the contest. Uzomah has played on more than 100 offensive snaps in 2024 but does not have a catch.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Held without a catch again

Parkinson failed to secure his lone target during Saturday's 13-9 victory against the Cardinals.

Despite playing the most snaps out of the quartet of Rams' tight ends, Parkinson went a second straight game without a catch. Tyler Higbee was the only tight end to record any stats, and even he just managed two catches for nine yards. With the playing time between Parkinson, Higbee, Hunter Long and Davis Allen relatively even -- and the sheer lack of fantasy production outside of Kyren Williams and Puka Nacua on the Rams' offense -- it'll continue to be hard to trust any of the team's tight ends in fantasy rosters heading into the Week 18 regular-season finale against the Seahawks.

  • Will Mallory TE | IND

Colts' Will Mallory: Won't play against Big Blue

Mallory (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Mallory played in the Colts' last three games and logged one catch (on two targets) for seven yards over that span. However, the 2023 fifth-round pick will be a healthy scratch for Week 17 as Indianapolis goes with Drew Ogletree, Mo Alie-Cox and Kylen Granson as its three active tight ends. Mallory's next chance to play will be in the Colts' regular-season finale against the Jaguars next weekend.
