  • Panthers' Ja'Tavion Sanders: Looks good with added opportunity

Sanders recorded six receptions on six targets for 61 yards in Sunday's 40-7 loss to the Commanders.

Tommy Tremble (back) was forced to miss his second consecutive game, allowing Sanders to be one of the few bright spots in Carolina's blowout loss. Across the last two contests, Sanders has recorded 11 receptions for 110 yards on 13 targets. His potential usage once Tremble is healthy remains unclear, but Sanders has taken the opportunity to show he can be a productive pass catcher as a pro.

  • Jordan Akins TE | JAC

Browns' Jordan Akins: Four catches in loss

Akins caught all four targets for a season-high 42 yards in Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Bengals in Week 7.

Cleveland's tight ends had a big day in the first game after the organization traded Amari Cooper to the Bills. Akins and starter David Njoku combined for 18 targets, the most for the tight end position this season. In a related note that impacts all receivers, quarterbacks Deshaun Watson (Achilles) and Dorian Thompson-Robinson (finger) were removed from the game, leaving Jameis Winston to close out the contest. At this point, the Browns don't know who will be starting at quarterback next week against Baltimore.

  • Dalton Kincaid TE | BUF

    Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Finding groove

Kincaid recorded three receptions on six targets for 52 yards in Sunday's 34-10 win over the Titans.

While the rest of the Buffalo passing offense saw some fluctuation, Kincaid remained in a stable role. He's now seen either six or seven targets in four consecutive games while recording at least 45 yards in three of them. Kincaid narrowly missed out on a bigger performance, as he was tackled at the two-yard line after a 25-yard gain at the end of the third quarter. While it hasn't been a breakout season, Kincaid has become a consistent contributor.

  • Noah Gray TE | KC

Chiefs' Noah Gray: Leading receiver on four targets

Gray brought in all four of his targets for 66 yards in Sunday's 28-18 win over the 49ers.

Gray finished as the Chiefs' leading receiver in an odd game that featured no passing touchdowns from either side. San Francisco keyed its defensive focus on limiting star tight end Travis Kelce (4-17-0), allowing the 25-year-old Gray to operate freely for his highest receiving total of the season. Fantasy managers should consider this a high-water mark for Gray so long as Kelce remains healthy, which the latter should be for next Sunday's tilt against the Raiders.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Gains 32 yards on two catches

Parkinson caught both of his targets for 32 yards in Sunday's 20-15 win over the Raiders.

Parkinson saw his target total dip from 13 in the Rams' previous contest to just two against Las Vegas. The veteran tight end's production didn't suffer much after gaining just 20 less yards despite the 11-target dip. Parkinson remains a decent option at a shallow fantasy position heading into Thursday's tilt against Minnesota despite his fluctuating target total this season.

  • 49ers' George Kittle: Leads banged-up receiving crew

Kittle corralled six of seven targets for 92 yards in Sunday's 28-18 loss to the Chiefs.

Kittle finished as the 49ers' leading receiver after both Deebo Samuel (illness) and Brandon Aiyuk (knee) exited Sunday's contest early. The 30-year-old Kittle wasn't able to extend his touchdown streak to five games in the loss, but he finished with his highest yardage total of the season. San Francisco may have to lean on its star tight end even more down the stretch if Aiyuk's MRI results reveal a torn ACL like the team fears he suffered. Either way, Kittle remains a top fantasy option heading into a Week 8 matchup against Dallas.

  • David Njoku TE | LAC

Browns' David Njoku: Earns 14 targets

Njoku recorded 10 receptions on 14 targets for 76 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Bengals.

The Browns had three different quarterbacks in the game, but that didn't stop Njoku from drawing the second-most targets in a game for his career. The efficiency on that opportunity was understandably lacking, but Njoku did manage receptions of 15 and 13 yards while also finding the end zone on an eight-yard catch late in the game. He had been unproductive with Deshaun Watson (Achilles) under center, so Njoku could see a boost in his production moving forward -- particularly after the departure of Amari Cooper.

  • Travis Kelce TE | KC

Chiefs' Travis Kelce: Little room to operate in win

Kelce finished with four receptions (five targets) for 17 yards in Sunday's 28-18 win over the 49ers.

It was clear that the 49ers came into this contest with a game plan to limit Kelce for a shorthanded Chiefs offense. While the opponent's defensive strategy was successful, it did not lead to a win, as Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City's rushing attack (four combined touchdowns) took care of business Sunday. Kelce was coming off of a pair of strong fantasy outings in his previous two contests, so managers will be hoping for a bounce-back performance against the Raiders next Sunday.

  • Brock Bowers TE | LV

Raiders' Brock Bowers: Ten catches in Week 7 loss

Bowers caught 10 of 14 targets for 93 yards in Sunday's 20-15 loss to the Rams.

Bowers continues to lead all NFL tight ends in receiving yards, with 477 through seven games, and he's the clear No. 1 target in the Raiders' passing game following Tuesday's trade of Davante Adams to the Jets. Despite finding success regardless of whether Vegas deploys Aidan O'Connell -- who exited in the first half Sunday due to a thumb injury -- or Gardner Minshew under center, the rookie first-round pick has been held back by the lack of talent around him, as Bowers has just one touchdown, and his first end-zone target of the season came in the fourth quarter against the Rams. Bowers has a juicy Week 8 matchup coming up against a Kansas City defense that has allowed the most yards in the league to tight ends.

  • Ian Thomas TE | LV

Panthers' Ian Thomas: Serving as No. 2 TE

Thomas caught both of his targets for four yards in Sunday's 40-7 loss to the Commanders.

Thomas was out-produced by Ja'Tavion Sanders (six catches for 61 yards) for the second consecutive week since returning from injury, suggesting that Sanders has already taken over the Panthers' No. 1 tight end role. With Tommy Tremble (back) returning from injury as soon as next week, Thomas could be further relegated to Carolina's third-string tight end.
