Trey McBride TE | ARI
Cardinals' Trey McBride: Busiest game of season
McBride brought in all eight targets for 96 yards in the Cardinals' 34-13 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
With Marvin Harrison exiting the game with a concussion in the second quarter, McBride operated as Kyler Murray's top target on the afternoon. In the process, the third-year tight end set new season highs in receptions and receiving yards while drawing his second-highest target total of the campaign. McBride now has at least six catches in three of his past four games, which leaves him trending in the right direction for a Week 7 Monday night home matchup against the Chargers on Oct. 21.

Ian Thomas TE | LV
Panthers' Ian Thomas: Active against Falcons
Thomas (calf) is active for Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the Falcons, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Thomas' active status was foreshadowed by a combination of his activation from injured reserve Saturday and the ruling out of position mate Tommy Tremble due to a concussion. With Thomas now officially in uniform for the first time this season, the veteran tight end projects to split duties at the position with rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders versus Atlanta.

Dallas Goedert TE | PHI
Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Ruled out for remainder of Week 6
Goedert (hamstring) won't return to Sunday's matchup against Cleveland, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Goedert was injured on the third play of the game on a pass thrown his way that fell incomplete. He was initially deemed questionable to return before being ruled out shortly after halftime. With Goedert unable to return Sunday, Grant Calcaterra has taken over most of the work at tight end for Philadelphia. It's unclear at this time whether Goedert is at risk of missing next Sunday's clash with the Giants, and his participation during Week 7 prep should shed light on that matter.

Cole Kmet TE | CHI
Bears' Cole Kmet: Two more scores in London win
Kmet brought in all five targets for 70 yards and two touchdowns in the Bears' 35-16 win over the Jaguars on Sunday in London.
Kmet delivered his first multi-touchdown effort of the season via scoring grabs of 31 and two yards in the second quarter. The talented tight end also co-led the Bears in receptions and targets while setting the pace in receiving yards by a comfortable margin. Kmet's performance was his second-most productive of the season behind his 10-97-1 line against the Colts in Week 3, and he heads into a Week 7 bye with the chemistry between him and first overall pick Caleb Williams clearly on an upswing.

Evan Engram TE | DEN
Jaguars' Evan Engram: Eclipses century mark in return
Engram secured all 10 targets for 102 yards and lost a fumble in the Jaguars' 35-16 loss to the Bears on Sunday in London.
Engram led the Jaguars in receptions, receiving yards and targets in his return from a four-game absence due to a hamstring injury. The veteran tight end's instant chemistry with Trevor Lawrence was encouraging but not necessarily surprising given their body of work in 2023, and despite the team's overall struggles, Engram appears set to offer above-average fantasy production at the always fickle tight end position moving forward. Engram will aim to carry over the momentum into a second straight London matchup against the Patriots in Week 7.

Dallas Goedert TE | PHI
Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Suffers hamstring injury
Goedert exited Sunday's game against the Browns due to a hamstring injury.
Goedert departed after a failed hookup with QB Jalen Hurts on the first possession of the contest, visiting the sideline tent before going to the locker room without a helmet. If he's unable to return, Goedert will finish Week 6 with no catches on just one target.

Travis Vokolek TE | ARI
Cardinals' Travis Vokolek: Healthy scratch
Vokolek (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Packers.
Vokolek made his 2024 season debut in Week 4 against the Commanders and played 14 snaps (12 offensive), but he's been a healthy scratch for every other game. The undrafted tight end out of Nebraska has made three NFL appearances over the last two seasons, but he's yet to record a target.

John FitzPatrick TE | GB
Packers' John FitzPatrick: Won't play Week 6
FitzPatrick (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against Arizona.
The Packers signed FitzPatrick off Atlanta's practice squad Thursday, but the tight end isn't yet ready to suit up for his new club. Green Bay will enter Sunday's contest with Tucker Kraft leading the tight-end corps, with Ben Sims working behind him. Luke Musgrave (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Friday, so FitzPatrick could be active next Sunday when the Packers take on Houston.

Brenton Strange TE | JAC
Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Likely heading to backup role
Strange could see a reduction in playing time Sunday against the Bears due to Evan Engram (hamstring) being active for the first time since Week 1, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
After Engram injured his hamstring in pregame warmups prior to the Jaguars' Week 2 loss to the Browns, Strange has performed admirably as the team's No. 1 tight end over the past four contests, putting together a 12-120-2 receiving line on 18 targets. Though Engram will likely start Sunday's contest, the Jaguars could ease him back in with a lighter snap count than usual, given that he remained a limited participant in practice all week. Even so, the return of Engram is still expected to result in fewer snaps for Strange, whose limited fantasy appeal will likely fall by the wayside.
