  • Devin Asiasi TE | TEN

    Devin Asiasi: Signs with Tennessee

The Titans signed Asiasi to the practice squad Tuesday, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.

Asiasi gives Tennessee depth behind Chigoziem Okonkwo, Josh Whyle, Trevon Wesco and Kevin Rader. Wesco missed Week 16 with a shin injury. 26-year-old Asiasi was a 2020 third-round pick by New England and has four career catches for 44 yards and one touchdown.

  • Matt Sokol TE | BUF

Matt Sokol: Reverts back to practice squad

Sokol reverted to the Patriots' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Sokol was elevated to make his season debut during Sunday's loss to Denver, but he now returns to the practice squad. He played 10 of 58 offensive snaps Sunday with Hunter Henry (knee) out, behind Mike Gesicki's 38 snaps and Pharaoh Brown's 27.

  • Anthony Firkser: Back to practice squad

Firkser reverted to Detroit's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Firkser was elevated for Sunday's win over the Vikings with Brock Wright (hip) ruled out. He played two offensive snaps and 10 snaps on special teams but didn't record any stats. Now, the veteran tight end will await another opportunity to be elevated for game action. One such opportunity could come again Week 17 if Wright remains sidelined.

  • Dawson Knox TE | BUF

Bills' Dawson Knox: Modest production since return

Knox caught both of his targets for 26 yards in Buffalo's 24-22 win over the Chargers on Saturday.

Knox was on the field for 46 percent of the offensive snaps compared to 40 percent for rookie teammate Dalton Kincaid, who also was targeted twice but caught just one ball for seven yards. With every game crucial for the Bills here on out and both tight ends healthy, it's becoming clear this is going to be a timeshare depending on the game situation and offensive formation. The offense is clicking, but there's also plenty of talent, and it's become tough to trust anyone on a weekly basis outside of Josh Allen, James Cook and Stefon Diggs, and even Diggs, the star, has struggled lately. Knox at least looks healthy after returning from a wrist injury three weeks ago, but he's totaled just five catches for 62 yards over that three-game span.

  • Mo Alie-Cox TE | IND

Colts' Mo Alie-Cox: No receptions in loss

Alie-Cox did not have a reception on his only target in Sunday's loss at Atlanta.

Alie-Cox had scored a touchdown in consecutive weeks, but he didn't have a reception for the seventh time in 15 games. He isn't involved much in the passing game outside of an occasional red-zone target.

  • 49ers' George Kittle: Leading receiver in ugly loss

Kittle finished with seven receptions (on 10 targets) for 126 yards in Monday's 33-19 loss to Baltimore.

Kittle wound up leading all San Francisco receivers in receptions and yardage Monday, a feat that has occurred only a handful of times in 2023 on a roster loaded with superstars. The 30-year-old's big receiving night brought him within nine yards of cracking 1,000 for the season. Assuming Kittle can register those nine yards over the 49ers' final two games of the regular season, he will have reached the impressive milestone for the third time in his career and first since 2019. The star tight end's next opportunity will come Sunday in a road tilt against the Commanders.

  • Isaiah Likely TE | NYG

Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Racks up 56 yards

Likely recorded three receptions (on four targets) for 56 yards in Monday's 33-19 win over the 49ers.

Likely finished tied for second on the team in targets and second in yards, but he narrowly missed out on a bigger game when he was tackled at the 1-yard line early in the second quarter -- a drive that was finished on the next play by Gus Edwards. Likely later delivered a 34-yard reception to help set up a field goal to account for the majority of his production, and he now has a catch of more than 20 yards in three consecutive contests. He's also topped 50 yards in every game in that span.

  • Will Mallory TE | IND

Colts' Will Mallory: Four receptions in loss

Mallory had four receptions for 47 yards on four targets in Sunday's 29-10 loss at Atlanta.

The Colts featured Mallory and fellow tight end Kylen Granson (five receptions for 62 yards) more prominently in the passing game with top target Michael Pittman sidelined with a concussion. The duo were the top two Colts in receiving yards, which is more of a sign of how the Indianapolis passing game struggled. Mallory played on 27 of the offense's 71 snaps, running routes on 22 of those plays. In addition to Mallory and Granson (28 snaps), Drew Ogletree (17 snaps) and Mo Alie-Cox (19 snaps) also saw action at tight end. The Colts' tendency to use a messy four-man rotation at tight end makes it difficult to count on Mallory for fantasy purposes, even coming off a strong outing in Week 16.

  • Payne Durham TE | TB

Buccaneers' Payne Durham: Big gain on one catch

Durham secured his only target for a 25-yard gain in the Buccaneers' 30-12 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.

Durham's reception netted a career-high yardage total from both a single-catch and single-game perspective. The rookie fifth-round pick had gone the last three games without drawing so much as a target after posting a combined 3-25-0 line in Weeks 11 and 12. Therefore, he remains a fantasy non-factor ahead of season-long championship games and exclusively a tournament dart throw in DFS formats.

  • Cade Otton TE | TB

Buccaneers' Cade Otton: Minimal production in win

Otton secured his only target for seven yards in the Buccaneers' 30-12 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.

Otton saw a notable downturn in receiving yardage after producing a 2-44-0 line in Week 15, with Sunday's tally serving as his second lowest of the season. The second-year tight end is still the Buccaneers' primary pass-catching option at the position and played a season-high 71 snaps against the Jaguars, but rookie Payne Durham did outpace him in the victory by recording a 25-yard grab on his only catch.
