Luke Schoonmaker TE | DAL
Cowboys' Luke Schoonmaker: First career catch produces TD
Schoonmaker caught his only target for a one-yard touchdown in Sunday's win over the Jets.
After fellow tight end Jake Ferguson opened the scoring in the first quarter with a four-yard TD reception, Schoonmaker snagged his first career NFL catch and first career touchdown two minutes before halftime. Through two games with head coach Mike McCarthy as the new play caller, the Cowboys have leaned heavily on their TEs in the red zone. Ferguson already has five targets inside the 20-yard line, while Peyton Hendershot also has a target and a carry on a jet sweep at the goal line. That division of volume puts a ceiling on the fantasy value of any one member of the trio, but Schoonmaker will be a viable deep-league dart throw in favorable matchups, such as the one Dallas gets Week 3 against the winless Cardinals.

Mike Gesicki TE | CIN
Patriots' Mike Gesicki: Fives catches versus former team
Gesicki, who was on the field for 53 of a possible 74 snaps on offense in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Dolphins, caught five of his six targets for 33 yards in the contest, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
The Patriots found a way to keep both of their tight ends involved Sunday, with Hunter Henry logging 68 snaps while catching six of his seven targets for 52 yards and a TD. However, as long as a TE timeshare remains the norm for the team, Gesicki's bankable fantasy ceiling will be be capped. Next up for New England is a Week 3 matchup with the 1-1 Jets.

MyCole Pruitt TE | PIT
Falcons' MyCole Pruitt: Plays 38 offensive snaps
Pruitt played 49 snaps (38 offensive) but didn't record any counting stats during Sunday's 25-24 win over the Packers.
Pruitt once again played nearly half of Atlanta's offensive snaps but didn't garner a target. This trend will likely continue throughout the season, as the veteran is firmly entrenched as the No. 3 tight end behind Kyle Pitts and Jonnu Smith. Pruitt caught just 16 passes last year -- his first in Atlanta -- but four of those went for touchdowns, so when he does get involved in the passing game, it could be with a splash play. However, that certainly isn't enough to put Pruitt on fantasy radars in standard leagues.

Kyle Pitts TE | ATL
Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Quiet day in win
Pitts caught two of five targets for 15 yards during Sunday's 25-24 win over the Packers.
Pitts saw two more targets than he did in the season opener, but his production plummeted. The 2021 first-round pick has all the talent in the world, but he's been an extremely disappointing fantasy option since a dazzling rookie campaign in which he posted 68 receptions (on 110 targets) for 1,026 yards and one touchdown. He's accumulated just 32 catches on 67 targets for 415 yards over his last 12 appearances. He remains a focal point of Atlanta's passing game, but it's currently difficult to trust any Falcons receiving option in the team's extremely run-heavy scheme.

Jonnu Smith TE | PIT
Falcons' Jonnu Smith: Busy day in Week 2 win
Smith caught four of six targets for 47 yards during Sunday's 25-24 win over the Packers.
After getting blanked in the season opener, Smith was more involved in the passing attack versus Green Bay. The tight end tied Bijan Robinson for the second-most receptions on the team and finished fourth in yards. Smith played just two fewer snaps than Kyle Pitts (57), but the former outproduced the latter production-wise. The veteran will presumably get plenty of snaps on a weekly basis, as coach Arthur Smith loves using multiple tight ends, but it's difficult to trust any of Atlanta's pass catchers on a weekly basis.

Luke Musgrave TE | GB
Packers' Luke Musgrave: Limited to two receptions
Musgrave was targeted three times and caught two passes for 25 yards in Sunday's 25-24 loss to the Falcons.
Musgrave was held in check, finishing with one fewer reception and half as many yards as he racked up in his Week 1 NFL debut. On the bright side, he was tied for third on the team in targets, and his snap percentage jumped from 75 percent to 88 percent. Without much depth behind him at tight end, expect Musgrave to remain busy.
-
Durham Smythe TE | BAL
Dolphins' Durham Smythe: Catches all three targets Sunday
Smythe finished with three receptions on as many targets for 23 yards in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Patriots.
Smythe tallied three receptions for the second consecutive week, but his impact was felt more in the running game as a blocker than in fantasy circles. The 28-year-old replaced Miami's former starting tight end Mike Gesicki, who lined up on the opposing sideline after signing with New England this past offseason. Smythe isn't nearly the receiving threat that Gesicki was, but he could still provide value in deeper formats if he can develop as a red-zone threat as the season progresses.

Hunter Henry TE | NE
Patriots' Hunter Henry: Tallies another score Sunday
Henry caught six of seven targets for 52 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Dolphins.
Henry has now topped 50 receiving yards with a touchdown in each of his first two games this season. The 28-year-old tallied only two scores over 17 games last year, but he's in position to be a relevant option in fantasy leagues after matching that total through two games in 2023. Henry will attempt to keep his strong start rolling against the Jets next Sunday.
-
Brevin Jordan TE | HOU
Texans' Brevin Jordan: Plays offense for first time
Jordan caught both of his targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 31-20 loss to the Colts.
Jordan was used on offense for the first time this season after playing special teams only in Week 1. He was third among the position group with 15 snaps, but Jordan is considered a better ball-catcher than No. 2 tight end Teagan Quitoriano. The franchise had high hopes for Jordan when he was drafted in 2021, but the third-year veteran failed to prove he's deserving of a larger role. Dalton Schultz is the clear No. 1 at this point.
-
Dalton Schultz TE | HOU
Texans' Dalton Schultz: Seven targets in loss
Schultz caught four of seven targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 31-20 loss to Indianapolis in Week 2.
Schultz remained the leading tight end for a second consecutive game, leading the group with 60 snaps. He has 11 targets, six catches and 38 yards through two weeks. Schultz had company as a targeted tight end Sunday; Brevin Jordan, who played special teams only last week, was used on offense for the first time (15 snaps). Jordan caught both of his targets for 27 yards.
