Pat Freiermuth TE | PIT
Steelers' Pat Freiermuth: Gets in limited practice Thursday
Freiermuth (chest) was limited in Thursday's practice.
Freiermuth took a big hit from Ambry Thomas in the Steelers' Week 1 loss to the 49ers and had to leave the game. He made his one catch count, however, securing a three-yard touchdown. The Steelers host the Browns Monday night, giving Freiermuth an extra day to get closer to 100 percent.

Juwan Johnson TE | NO
Saints' Juwan Johnson: Dealing with calf issue
Johnson was limited at Thursday's practice due to a calf injury, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Following the Saints' first official practice of Week 2, a new and potentially big injury has emerged. Johnson will have two more chances this week to put himself in a position to play Monday at Carolina. If Johnson ends up limited or out for that contest, Foster Moreau and Jimmy Graham are around to pick up the slack at tight end for New Orleans.

Darren Waller TE | MIA
Giants' Darren Waller: Back in limited fashion
Waller (hamstring/rest) was limited at Thursday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
After getting Wednesday off to rest his balky hamstring, Waller returned to the practice field one day later, albeit in a limited capacity, same as when he showed up on the Week 1 injury report last Friday. He told Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com on Thursday "I'm playing" Sunday at Arizona, and the tight end doesn't expect his hamstring to be a long-term issue. In the end, Friday's practice report will reveal whether or not Waller goes into the weekend with a designation.

Travis Kelce TE | KC
Chiefs' Travis Kelce: Week 2 status TBD
Offensive coordinator Matt Nagy noted Thursday that Kelce (knee) looked good at practice Wednesday, but he added that coach Andy Reid and GM Brett Veach will make the call on whether the tight end plays Sunday against the Jaguars, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
With that in mind, Nagy indicated that the Chiefs have prepared game plans for scenarios in which Kelce plays or doesn't suit up. The tight end was officially limited at practice Wednesday, and based on Nagy's comments, it seems likely that Kelce will approach Sunday's contest listed as questionable.

Andrew Ogletree TE | IND
Colts' Andrew Ogletree: Making progress
Ogletree (concussion) is practicing Thursday, but he's wearing a red non-contact jersey, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Ogletree suffered a concussion in Sunday's loss to the Jaguars and still seems to be moving through the league's five-step protocols in order to gain clearance to return to action. The second-year pro will need to complete those steps to suit up Sunday against the Texans.

Leonard Taylor TE | JAC
Jaguars' Leonard Taylor: Suspended two games
Taylor (undisclosed) was suspended for two games Wednesday, Howard Balzer of GoPHNX.com reports.
Taylor will move from injured reserve to the reserve/suspended list after the NFL suspended him for an undisclosed reason. The 24-year-old will revert back to injured reserve after serving the suspension.
-
Michael Jacobson TE | NO
Michael Jacobson: Joins Saints' practice squad
New Orleans signed Jacobson to its practice squad Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
After being cut from Indianapolis' practice squad back in August, Jacobson has now found an opportunity to make an impression with a different team. However, with Juwan Johnson, Foster Moreau and Jimmy Graham already on the active roster, it's not likely he'll be promoted anytime soon.

Greg Dulcich TE | MIA
Broncos' Greg Dulcich: Sidelined Wednesday
Dulcich (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com previously reported earlier this week that Dulcich could miss several games, but the Broncos haven't yet formally ruled the tight end out for Sunday's game against the Commanders. That said, Dulcich's absence from practice Wednesday confirms that he's unlikely to play this weekend, and he'll most likely be ruled out ahead of the Week 2 matchup by Friday. On the plus side, head coach Sean Payton noted Wednesday that Dulcich was feeling better three days removed from sustaining his hamstring injury, adding that the Broncos' training staff "will do a great job of going through the correct rehab." While Dulcich is unavailable, Adam Trautman is in line to see added snaps and targets as the Broncos' clear top tight end.
-
Travis Kelce TE | KC
Chiefs' Travis Kelce: Back at practice in limited fashion
Kelce (knee) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
After suffering a deep bone bruise in his knee during last Tuesday's practice, Kelce was made inactive for the Chiefs' season-opening loss to Detroit two days later, but his ability to practice Wednesday is a positive sign regarding his status for Sunday's game in Jacksonville. James Palmer of NFL Network previously reported that Kelce pushed to play against the Lions, which suggests that the tight end's absence may be limited to one contest.

Mark Andrews TE | BAL
Ravens' Mark Andrews: Remains limited at practice
Andrews (quadricep) was limited participant at practice Wednesday.
Andrews was limited in all three of the Ravens' practices last week before sitting out the Week 1 win over the Texans, but , Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site suggests that the tight end could be ready to make his season debut Sunday against the Bengals. That said, Andrews will presumably need to practice fully by Friday in order to avoid carrying an injury designation into the contest.
