The Jets placed Yeboah (hamstring) on injured reserve Wednesday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.

Yeboah totalled two catches for 23 yards and a touchdown in the Jets' preseason game against the Buccaneers on Aug. 19 before sustaining a hamstring injury. He's set to miss at least four games as he recovers from his injury.

The Colts placed Woods (hamstring) on injured reserve Wednesday.

With the move, Woods will miss at least four games as he recovers from a hamstring injury. In his absence, the Colts will likely rely on a committee of Kylen Granson, Mo Alie-Cox and Andrew Ogletree to handle most of the reps at tight end.

Miami re-signed Kroft on Thursday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

The Dolphins needed both Jalen Ramsey (knee) and Robert Jones (knee) to make it through their 53-man roster cut before placing them on injured reserve with the designation to return. As a result, they had to cut Kroft and subsequently re-sign him to the roster after the aforementioned players shifted to IR. The 30-year-old tight end is now set to backup Durham Smythe and Julian Hill at tight end, while also contributing on special teams.

Kittle (undisclosed) is still dealing with an injury from training camp and won't resume practicing until next week, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Kittle played a few drives in the Niners' final preseason game after missing some practices with a groin injury. He's still not quite 100 percent though perhaps healthy enough to play, so the team wants him to take this week off before returning to the field Monday as a full participant. The 49ers' first official injury report of the season won't be released until next Wednesday, four days before the team's Week 1 road matchup with Pittsburgh.

Whiteheart was waived by the Cardinals on Wednesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Whiteheart made the initial 53-man roster Tuesday, but he didn't stick around long, as Arizona claimed fellow tight end Elijah Higgins off waivers Wednesday. Since Arizona liked Whiteheart enough to keep him originally, there's a good chance that the undrafted rookie out of Wake Forest will be offered a spot on the practice squad.

Ertz (knee) expressed uncertainty about his availability for the start of the season asked Wednesday about his chances of playing in Arizona's Week 1 game at Washington, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Ertz came off the active/PUP list Aug. 15 but didn't manage to suit up for any of Arizona's preseason matchups. The veteran tight end suffered ACL and MCL tears in his left knee Week 10 last season, so it wouldn't be surprising if he gets off to a slow start when the regular season kicks off. If the Cardinals expect him to miss up to a month, the team could consider placing him on injured reserve to start the season. Second-year pro Trey McBride stands to handle an increased role until Ertz is ready to handle a normal workload.

Andrews (undisclosed) worked out on a side field Wednesday and looked comfortable running, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Andrews has missed practice for about a week now but seems to be on track for the Ravens' Sept. 10 season opener versus Houston. The Ravens haven't said much about Andrews' injury, apart from head coach John Harbaugh noting last week that it's "nothing serious" and just "something we're kind of working through." In the event of a setback, Isaiah Likely would fill in for Andrews as Baltimore's top receiving tight end.

Hodges has a spot on Washington's initial 53-man roster, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Hodges made an impression last summer as an undrafted rookie before a thigh injury sent him to injured reserve at the beginning of September. Coach Ron Rivera said Wednesday that he views Hodges as a rookie after the lost 2022 season, so the Commanders may be patient and give the 6-foot-8 24-year-old some time to develop behind Logan Thomas (calf), John Bates and Cole Turner.

Jackson is signing with the Giants' practice squad Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Jackson was waived by the Eagles on Tuesday and will stay in the NFC East as part of the Giants' practice squad. He missed the entire 2022 campaign with a torn ACL but will attempt to impress in New York now that he's healthy.

Sims was claimed off waivers by the Packers on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Sims was waived by the Vikings on Tuesday, but he'll remain in the division after being claimed by Green Bay. He'll attempt to carve out work as a reserve tight end behind Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft in 2023 after Tyler Davis sustained a torn ACL during the Packers' preseason opener.
