Chris Myarick TE | MIA
Giants' Chris Myarick: Suffers hand fracture Saturday
Myarick sustained a metacarpal fracture in his hand during Saturday's preseason loss to the Jets, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Due to the offseason acquisition of tight end Darren Waller, Myarick likely has been on the roster bubble during training camp and exhibition season. With cut-down day looming Tuesday, Myarick's fate may come down to whether or not he needs surgery and the eventual timetable to return to action.

Jeremy Ruckert TE | NYJ
Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Finishes preseason healthy
Ruckert (shoulder) caught both of his targets for 20 yards in Saturday's preseason win over the Giants.
Ruckert returned to action after hurting his shoulder earlier this preseason, entering the game after veterans Tyler Conklin and C.J. Uzomah. Ruckert, a 2022 third-round selection, will sit behind the veterans to begin the regular season, eliminating any potential for fantasy value against the Bills in Week 1.

Tyler Conklin TE | DET
Jets' Tyler Conklin: Catches lone target Saturday
Conklin started and caught his lone target for seven yards in Saturday's preseason finale against the Giants.
Conklin's reception came from the arm of new quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who made his preseason debut with the Jets on Saturday. The veteran tight end posted a modest 58/552/3 receiving line while starting for New York last year, but he could see a slight bump in production simply from the upgrade Rodgers gives this offense. The Jets will mix in veteran C.J. Uzomah and sophomore Jeremy Ruckert at tight end, so Conklin shouldn't be valued as high other starting tight ends who dominate their team's touch/target shares.

Chris Myarick TE | MIA
Giants' Chris Myarick: Ruled out
Myarick will not return to Saturday's preseason game against the Jets after suffering a hand injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Myarick has gone back-and-forth between the team's practice squad and active roster the past two seasons. The 27-year-old appeared in 16 games for New York last year, catching seven of his eight targets for 65 yards and one touchdown. Expect the tight end to continue serving a depth role on the Giants' offense ahead of the coming season. The severity of Myarick's injury is unknown at the moment.

Daniel Helm TE | DET
Daniel Helm: Let go by Detroit
Helm was waived by the Lions on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Helm signed with the Lions on Aug. 2 after being waived by the Falcons in May. He played in two of three preseason games for Detroit but failed to record a catch. He'll likely have to settle for a practice squad spot as he looks for an opportunity elsewhere.

Mark Andrews TE | BAL
Ravens' Mark Andrews: Not on field for warmups
Andrews (undisclosed) isn't on the field for warmups ahead of Saturday's preseason finale against Tampa Bay, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Andrews wasn't expected to play this preseason even if healthy, and he missed a practice or two this week due to an undisclosed injury. He'll focus on getting healthy ahead of a Week 1 home game against the Texans.

Josiah Deguara TE | ARI
Packers' Josiah Deguara: Sees action Saturday
Deguara (calf) saw action in Saturday's 19-15 preseason victory over the Seahawks.
Deguara did not make a mark in the box score, but he appeared in a second straight game after missing the exhibition opener with a calf issue. Deguara, listed as a fullback on Green Bay's official depth chart, is not a lock to open the regular season on the roster. However, he worked as a tight end in the past, and that experience could pay off with only three tight ends healthy for the Packers.

Hunter Long TE | JAC
Rams' Hunter Long: Passes physical examination
The Rams removed Long (undisclosed) from the active/PUP list Saturday after he passed a physical, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Long was placed on the active/PUP list to begin training camp, and Rams coach Sean McVay said Wednesday that there was a chance he could open the regular season on the list as well. The 25-year-old tight end will now be available to play Week 1. However, the nature of this initial injury was never revealed, leaving it unclear if Long will play Sunday, Sept. 10 versus Seattle.

Cameron Latu TE | PHI
49ers' Cameron Latu: Slated for surgery
Latu will require surgery to repair a meniscus injury sustained in Friday's 23-12 preseason loss to the Chargers, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Latu figures to take at least four weeks to recover following successful meniscus surgery, likely meaning he will not be available until early October. The 49ers will now have the option to immediately place him on IR, which would sideline him for the entirety of the 2023 campaign, or the team can retain him on the initial 53-man roster and then place him on IR, which would allow him to return this coming season. The rookie third-round pick figured to compete for a primary reserve role behind George Kittle heading into the regular season, though this injury could significantly impact Latu's outlook even if he manages to return at some point in 2023.

Dalton Kincaid TE | BUF
Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Not targeted
Kincaid wasn't targeted in Saturday's 24-21 preseason win over the Bears.
Kincaid appeared to play about half the snaps on QB Josh Allen's lone drive, which featured seven pass attempts and a short rushing score from RB Damien Harris. The Bills still have Dawson Knox as their top tight end, so in practice Kincaid is competing for snaps with No. 3 receiver Khalil Shakir as much or more so than with anyone else. Kincaid will make his regular-season NFL debut on Monday Night Football in Week 1 against the Jets.
