  • Dawson Knox TE | BUF

Bills' Dawson Knox: Limited by hip issue

Knox was a limited participant at practice Thursday due to a hip injury.

Per Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com,, Knox is downplaying what he previously described as a "little hip pointer." He sported a red no-contact jersey at Thursday's practice, according to Matt Parrino of The Syracuse Post-Standard. The tight end now has two more chances to increase his practice activity ahead of Monday's game against the Bengals, but Knox will probably need to practice in full capacity by Saturday in order to avoid carrying an injury designation into the contest.

  • Tommy Tremble TE | CAR

Panthers' Tommy Tremble: Limited again Thursday

Tremble (hip) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Darin Gantt of the Panther's official site reports.

Tremble has kicked off Week 17 prep with back-to-back capped sessions due to a hip issue, leaving him only one more opportunity to increase his reps before Carolina posts its third and final injury report of the week. If he's able to suit up Sunday in Tampa Bay, he'll continue to split TE reps with Ian Thomas, which has amounted to a 15-139-2 line on 28 targets for Tremble in 15 appearances this season.

  • Kylen Granson TE | TEN

Colts' Kylen Granson: Not practicing Thursday

Granson (ankle) wasn't present for Thursday's practice and will be listed as a non-participant for the session, Nate Atkins of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Granson hasn't practiced in any capacity since he apparently picked up an ankle injury in the Colts' Week 15 overtime loss to the Vikings. Unless he can reverse the trend and get back on the field in some fashion Friday, he'll likely sit out a second straight game this weekend against the Giants. If Granson is sidelined Sunday, Mo Alie-Cox and Jelani Woods would split reps at tight end.

  • Greg Dulcich TE | MIA

Broncos' Greg Dulcich: Still not practicing

Dulcich (hamstring) won't practice Thursday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Dulcich didn't practice Wednesday either, which clouds his status for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. If the 2022 third-rounder -- who logged a 4-39-1 line on eight targets Week 16 versus the Rams -- is unable to play this weekend, added tight end snaps would be available for Eric Saubert, Eric Tomlinson and possibly Albert Okwuegbunam.

  • Jonnu Smith TE | PIT

Patriots' Jonnu Smith: Not practicing Thursday

Smith (concussion) remained sidelined at practice Thursday, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.

Smith has one more chance to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Dolphins, but if he's out this weekend, then Hunter Henry would be in line for added tight end snaps for the Patriots, assuming he plays through the knee issue that limited him during Wednesday's practice session.

  • Dominique Dafney: Time up on practice squad

The Colts cut Dafney from the practice squad Thursday.

Dafney will be replaced by Keke Coutee on Indianapolis' practice squad. The tight end logged 10 appearances with Green Bay during the 2021 campaign, but he hasn't appeared in a single contest this season.

  • Texans' Teagan Quitoriano: Not involved in practice

Quitoriano (knee/quadriceps) was spotted working off to the side during the open portion of Thursday's session and is expected to be listed as a non-participant on the Texans' second Week 17 practice report, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Though the rookie tight end avoided any structural damage after exiting early in the Texans' Week 16 win over the Titans, he hyperextended his right knee and bruised his quadriceps. The Texans are considering Quitoriano day-to-day with his pair of injuries, but after failing to practice in any fashion so far this week, he'll need to log some on-field activity Friday to have a legitimate chance at suiting up Sunday against Jacksonville.

  • Noah Fant TE | NO

Seahawks' Noah Fant: Sits out practice Wednesday

Fant (knee) was a non-participant at practice Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Last week, Fant missed the first two sessions with the same issue before returning to the field as a limited participant Thursday and then entering the weekend with a questionable designation. He ended up starting and leading Seattle tight ends in snap share (55 percent) in Saturday's loss to the Chiefs, and while he scored a touchdown among his two catches, he ranked behind Colby Parkinson in targets, 4-3. With Will Dissly (knee) going on injured reserve Tuesday, Fant is the top candidate to handle most of the team's reps at tight end moving forward, assuming he's able to suit up on game days.

  • Jacob Hollister: Gets another chance with Seattle

The Seahawks signed Hollister to their practice squad Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Hollister played for Seattle in 2019 and 2020, compiling 66 catches for 558 yards and six touchdowns over 27 contests. The Wyoming product then latched on with Jacksonville last season but played in only seven games, and he competed in five contests between Minnesota and Las Vegas this season but didn't see any receiving targets while playing almost exclusively on special teams. Hollister could get a chance to be elevated to Seattle's active roster in short order with Will Dissly (knee) hitting IR on Tuesday, though he'd likely see limited playing time behind Noah Fant and Colby Parkinson.

  • Chris Myarick TE | MIA

    Chris Myarick: Waived by Giants

Myarick has been waived by the Giants, Dan Salomone of the team's official website reports.

Myarick was let go in favor of the team adding guard depth. He was drafted by New York in 2020 and accumulated 65 yards and one touchdown on seven receptions across 13 games during the 2022 season. The 27-year-old will now look for a new opportunity.
