Pittman is working through back and calf issues, but coach Shane Steichen thinks that the wideout will be available Sunday against the Bears, Nate Atkins of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Pittman was held out of Friday's practice, per James Boyd of The Athletic, and the reason for his non-participation now has been clarified. Friday's final injury report will reveal whether Pittman heads into the weekend with a Week 3 injury designation.

Brown (hamstring) isn't practicing Friday, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.

He hasn't participated at all since injuring his hamstring during practice last Friday. Brown missed the loss to the Falcons on Monday and is unlikely to play against the Saints come Sunday.

Hyatt requested a trade from the Giants during the summer, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

As Raanan tells it, Hyatt was unhappy with his standing on the depth chart and said during a practice late in the summer that if the team wasn't going to use him, they should trade him. Through two games, Hyatt has ran just 14 pass routes -- seventh-most on the team -- and appears buried just one year after the team used the 73rd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft on the wideout. Coach Brian Daboll has stressed to Hyatt that his time is coming, but he's running as the distant fourth receiver behind Malik Nabers, Darius Slayton and slot man Wan'Dale Robinson. It wouldn't be a shock to see Hyatt supplant Slayton in the near future, but it's clear Hyatt is frustrated at the moment.

Pittman (undisclosed) isn't participating in Friday's practice, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Per Nate Atkins of The Indianapolis Star, Pittman -- who practiced fully Wednesday and Thursday -- was present for Friday's session. There's a chance that the Colts are giving the wideout a rest day, with further context regarding his Week 3 status set to arrive once the team's injury report is posted.

Thornton logged 17 of a possible 52 snaps on offense in Thursday's 24-3 loss to the Jets, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

In the process, Thornton did not catch his only target in the contest. With a 2-27-0 receiving line through three games, the 2022 second-rounder is off the fantasy radar while working as the Patriots' No. 4 WR behind DeMario Douglas, K.J. Osborn and Ja'Lynn Polk.

Osborn logged 39 of a possible 52 snaps on offense in Thursday's 24-3 loss to the Jets, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Osborn, who was not targeted Thursday, and Ja'Lynn Polk (26 snaps) started at wide receiver for the Patriots versus New York, while DeMario Douglas (43 snaps) paced the team with seven catches for 69 yards in the contest. Despite a steady share of snaps, Osborn has been limited to just four catches (on eight targets) through three games to date, a rate of production that keeps him off the fantasy radar for now.

Polk was on the field for 26 of the Patriots' 52 snaps on offense in Thursday's 24-3 loss to the Jets, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Polk, who caught both of his targets in the contest for 13 yards, was out-snapped Thursday by both DeMario Douglas (43 snaps) and K.J. Osborn (39 snaps). With five catches (on six targets) for 31 yards and a TD through his first three games as a pro, Polk's initial fantasy impact has been modest. Down the road, however, his production could pick up if the Patriots offense gains more consistency.

Coach Mike McDaniel said DuBose (shoulder) probably won't play Sunday against the Seahawks, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

DuBose's shoulder injury isn't expected to be a season-ender, but he could miss some time. After playing 18 percent of the offensive snaps in the season opener versus Jacksonville, DuBose was in on 34 percent of the plays last week against Buffalo, but he caught just one of three targets for 13 yards and was the intended receiver on one of Tua Tagovailoa's three interceptions.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Friday that he's confident Lamb (ankle) will play Sunday against Baltimore, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

Coach Mike McCarthy expressed similar optimism Thursday, when Lamb returned to practice as a limited participant after missing Wednesday's session. Lamb himself told Machota that he's fine and that the issue is nothing more than soreness. It sounds like he may even avoid an injury designation on the Cowboys' final Week 3 injury report.

Pearsall (chest) ran routes on a side field Thursday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

Barrows notes that Pearsall was making sharp cuts and appeared to be running at full speed, which supports earlier reports that the rookie hopes to be ready for games when he's first eligible to return from injured reserve Week 5. Pearsall's role at that point will partially depend on the health of San Francisco's other pass catchers, namely WR Deebo Samuel, who is expected to miss the next two or three games with a calf injury. While nobody can truly replace Samuel's unique blend of talents, Pearsall was highly successful with his limited opportunities as a ball carrier in five seasons between ASU and Florida, taking 21 career rush attempts for 253 yards and five TDs.
