Goodwin (illness) was placed on the active/non-football illness list by the Browns on Friday, Cory Kinnan of USA Today reports.

Goodwin will open camp on the sideline due to blood clots that were recently discovered in his legs and lungs, but he'll be eligible to return to practice and play at any point this preseason. The Browns' first exhibition is slated for Aug. 3 versus the Jets, and given the seriousness of Goodwin's health issues, it seems unlikely he'll be ready to suit up in that game.

Woods (Achilles) was placed on the active/non-football injury list by the Browns on Friday.

Woods suffered a ruptured Achilles in April while working out with quarterback Deshaun Watson, and he's expected to miss the entirety of the 2023 campaign. The wide receiver will likely transition to injured reserve at some point leading up to the regular season.

Schwartz (hamstring) was placed on the active/non-football injury list by the Browns on Friday.

Schwartz will open camp on the sidelines as he continues to nurse a hamstring injury. The wide receiver is eligible to return to practice at any point and play this preseason, though it's unclear if he'll be able to go in the Browns' first exhibition Aug. 3 versus the Jets.

Watkins and the Browns agreed on a contract Friday, Brad Stainbrook of 247Sports.com reports.

Watkins will join Cleveland ahead of their upcoming training camp after spending the 2022 campaign as a free agent. The wide receiver has yet to make his NFL debut after a collegiate career at UAB and he'll look to at least crack the Browns' practice squad ahead of the 2023 season.

The Ravens placed Bateman (foot) on the reserve/did not report list Friday, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.

Bateman was a partial participant during OTAs in May, but he was held out of June minicamp after getting a cortisone shot. The 2021 first-round pick is about eight months removed from Lisfranc surgery, but Baltimore's brass is optimistic the wideout will be ready for Week 1. "I have spoken to Rashod and we expect him here very soon," GM Eric DeCosta said Friday.

Beasley agreed to a one-year deal with the Giants on Friday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Beasley started the 2022 campaign with Tampa Bay but opted to retire in October. However, his retirement was brief, as he signed a practice-squad deal with Buffalo in mid-December and went on to appear in four games for the Bills, including two postseason contests. During the playoffs, Beasley caught five of nine targets for 68 yards and one score across 60 offensive snaps. He'll compete for a depth spot in the Giants' wideout room, which currently features Isaiah Hodgins, Darius Slayton, Parris Campbell, Jalin Hyatt and Jamison Crowder. Wan'Dale Robinson and Sterling Shepard figure to have roles as well when they're officially cleared to suit up following their recoveries from 2022 ACL tears.

Erickson signed with the Jets on Thursday.

Erickson spent the 2022 season with the Commanders, though he appeared in only two games. He has served primarily on special teams across the last few campaigns, and his best chance to make the team could come as a kick or punt returner.

Addison (undisclosed) was cited Thursday for driving 140 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.

Speeding tickets don't usually lead to league discipline, but this one will get the NFL's attention and might eventually lead to a fine and/or a short suspension. The 23rd overall pick in this year's draft was cited around 3:00 a.m. CT on Thursday for speeding and reckless driving, three days before rookies report to Vikings training camp. Addison isn't off to the best start in the NFL, first missing spring practices with an undisclosed injury and now dealing with a legal problem.

Hardman (core muscle) took part in 11-on-11s Thursday, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.

Limited this spring after February surgery, Hardman seems to be back at full strength for the start of training camp. He's competing for reps in a WR room with Garrett Wilson, Allen Lazard, Corey Davis and Randall Cobb (ankle), though Davis could ultimately be a cap casualty and the soon-to-be-33-year-old Cobb is opening camp on the PUP list.

The Chargers placed Wilson on the non-football illness list Wednesday due to an unspecified issue, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Though the details of his injury aren't known, Wilson is eligible to practice and/or play at any point during the preseason. The Florida State product signed with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent at the end of April after posting a career-best 495 receiving yards during his final collegiate campaign.
