  • Darius Slayton WR | IND

Giants' Darius Slayton: Could see increased role Sunday

Slayton may be more involved in the Giants' passing game Sunday with all of Kenny Golladay (knee), Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) and Kadarius Toney (hamstring) ruled out for the Week 5 battle in London.

Slayton saw his most action of the campaign in Week 4 against Chicago, playing 62 percent of New York's offensive snaps. He didn't do much with the opportunity, however, logging just one catch on two targets for 11 yards. Slayton figures to again spend considerable time on the field in Week 5, as he, David Sills and Richie James are currently the only healthy wideouts on the active roster. Slayton is likely behind the other two on the depth chart, however, and expectations should be tempered given that New York ranks second-to-last in the league in passing yards per game through four weeks. While the Giants received good news Friday with Daniel Jones' (ankle) exclusion from the injury report, it should also be noted that running back Saquon Barkley figures to siphon off much of the limited opportunity in the passing game, as he is tied for the team lead with 15 catches and ranks third with 107 receiving yards.

  • David Sills WR | TB

    Giants' David Sills: Opportunity abounds

Sills is likely to see plenty of snaps in Sunday's game against Green Bay with all of Kenny Golladay (knee), Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) and Kadarius Toney (hamstring) ruled out for the clash in London.

The Giants received good news Friday when Daniel Jones was able to log a full practice after hurting his ankle in Week 4. While the quarterback appears in line to start in London on Sunday, he'll be without many of his usual pass catchers as injuries have already decimated New York's wideout corps. Sills and Richie James -- two of the last men standing -- should see plenty of reps, and Darius Slayton could get extra run as well. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that any New York wideouts are worth pursuing in fantasy -- the Giants rank second-to-last in passing yards per game through four weeks, and running back Saquon Barkley has played a significant role in the team's air attack, tying for the team lead with 15 receptions.

  • Jauan Jennings WR | MIN

49ers' Jauan Jennings: All set to play

Jennings (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Carolina.

Jennings figures to occupy his usual role as the No. 3 receiver, following three straight weeks playing less than half the snaps. He saw six targets in the season opener when the Niners fell behind in Chicago, but Jennings has been targeted only nine times in three subsequent games and has caught just four of those for 31 yards.

  • Dareke Young WR | LV

Seahawks' Dareke Young: Won't play Sunday

Young (quadricep) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Saints, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

Young practiced in a limited capacity to open the week Wednesday, but he's since failed to participate in either of Thursday's or Friday's sessions as he tends to a quadriceps issue. The 224-pound receiver saw four offensive snaps and five defensive snaps in the team's season opener against Denver; however, he's been sidelined in each of Seattle's subsequent three contests due to his injury. Young's next opportunity to return to action comes next Sunday against Arizona, where he'd likely serve as the Seahawks' No. 6 receiver behind Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf, Marquise Goodwin (knee/back), Dee Eskridge and Penny Hart.

  • Hunter Renfrow WR | CAR

Raiders' Hunter Renfrow: Logs another full practice listing

Renfrow (concussion) was listed as a full participant in Friday's walkthrough practice, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.

With consecutive full participation listings under his belt, Renfrow is trending toward a return to action Monday night against Kansas City after having missed his team's last two contests. Saturday's final injury report will clarify whether the Raiders' slot man approaches Week 5 action with an injury designation or fully cleared to play.

  • Tyron Johnson WR | DAL

Tyron Johnson: Waived by Las Vegas

The Raiders waived Johnson on Friday.

Johnson was active for two of the first four games of the season, totaling just seven snaps (four offensive). His release opens up a spot for Blake Martinez on the 53-man roster. If Johnson clears waivers, it's possible he returns to Las Vegas on a practice-squad deal, through there may not be room after the Raiders added Albert Wilson to their practice squad Friday.

  • Seahawks' Marquise Goodwin: Labeled as questionable for Sunday

Goodwin (knee/back) is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Saints, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Goodwin landed on the injury report Thursday as a limited participant due to a knee injury, but he's now listed as questionable with both a knee and back injury. The extent of the issues remain unclear, but his potential absence would likely mean increased snaps for Dee Eskridge and Penny Hart behind Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf.

  • Quintez Cephus WR | HOU

Lions' Quintez Cephus: Ruled out for Week 5

Cephus (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Patriots.

Cephus suffered the foot injury during the team's Week 4 loss to the Seahawks and was unable to practice ahead of Week 5, so his lack of availability for Sunday isn't surprising. DJ Chark (ankle) has also been ruled out, while Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) and Josh Reynolds (ankle) are questionable, so the Lions may be extremely limited at wideout for a second straight game, which should once again be beneficial for T.J. Hockenson.

  • Jakobi Meyers WR | JAC

Patriots' Jakobi Meyers: Listed as questionable

Meyers (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions after logging limited practices Wednesday through Friday.

Meyers also was limited in practices last week before missing a second straight game in this past Sunday's loss to the Packers, but it looks like he has a decent chance to return to action this weekend. Either way, the wideout's Week 5 status will be confirmed before the first wave of games, with the Patriots kicking off at 1:00 p.m. ET. At that stage, if not sooner, there should be added clarity with regard to the team's QB situation, given that starter Mac Jones (ankle) is listed as doubtful and trending toward giving way to rookie Bailey Zappe.

  • Marquise Brown WR | PHI

Cardinals' Marquise Brown: Cleared for flight

Brown (foot) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Brown and A.J. Green (knee) both were full practice participants Friday and avoided the final injury report, while Rondale Moore (knee) is listed as questionable and likely will be a game-time decision. Brown gets a tough matchup against the Eagles and their talented CB duo (Darius Slay and James Bradberry), but it's tough to take him out of lineups when he's averaging 11.3 targets per game and has scored at least 12.8 PPR points each week. The nature of his production has been quite different from most of his time in Baltimore, with Brown relying on volume rather than big plays and seeing more of his targets near the line of scrimmage. He's notably avoided any drops this year but has yet to produce a gain of more than 26 yards.
