Isaiah McKenzie WR | MIA
Bills' Isaiah McKenzie: Dealing with heat-related issues
McKenzie is questionable to return Sunday against the Dolphins due to heat-related issues.
Per Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network, it felt like 100 degrees before kickoff and the temperature has had a major impact on the players. Dawson Knox is also questionable to return due to the same issue.
-
Russell Gage WR | SF
Buccaneers' Russell Gage: Active as expected Sunday
Gage (hamstring) is active for Sunday's Week 3 game against the Packers, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.
Gage missed Friday's practice but was reportedly expected to be available, and it's now confirmed he'll play through his hamstring issue for the third time in as many games to open the season. Gage's presence will be especially critical Sunday considering the absence of Mike Evans (suspension), Chris Godwin (hamstring) and Julio Jones (knee).
-
Garrett Wilson WR | NYJ
Jets' Garrett Wilson: Back in action Sunday
Wilson (ribs) has returned to Sunday's game against the Bengals, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Wilson caught all four of his targets for 46 yards before leaving the contest in the first half, but he came out of halftime ready to go. He'll look to continue his strong game in the second half.
-
Randall Cobb WR | NYJ
Packers' Randall Cobb: Suiting up in Week 3
Cobb (illness) is active for Sunday's contest in Tampa Bay, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
Cobb was absent from practice during Week 3 prep with an illness, but he's well enough as of game day to be available to the Packers offense. He's in line for a significant snap count alongside Allen Lazard and rookie fourth-round pick Romeo Doubs because Sammy Watkins (hamstring) landed on IR on Saturday and Christian Watson (hamstring) is inactive Sunday. Cobb has gathered in five of six targets for 51 yards through two games.
-
Christian Watson WR | GB
Packers' Christian Watson: Takes seat Sunday
Watson (hamstring) is listed as inactive Sunday in Tampa Bay, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
Watson entered the weekend with a questionable designation after being capped to one limited session due to a hamstring injury. He'll join Sammy Watkins (hamstring, IR) on the sideline, meaning the Packers' top trio at wide receiver Sunday will be Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb (illness) and Romeo Doubs. Watson, a rookie second-round pick, will aim to get healthy for a Week 4 matchup with the Patriots on Sunday, Oct. 2.
-
Keenan Allen WR | IND
Chargers' Keenan Allen: Inactive Sunday
Allen (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
After sitting out Friday's practice, Allen will end up missing his second straight contest. In his continued absence, Joshua Palmer and DeAndre Carter are in line to see added Week 3 wide receiver opportunities in the Chargers offense alongside Mike Williams.
-
Byron Pringle WR | WAS
Bears' Byron Pringle: Exits Sunday's game
Pringle was forced out of Sunday's contest against the Texans with a calf injury.
Pringle is iffy to return to Sunday's game against Houston after he was seen walking to the locker room with an apparent calf injury. Before his departure, the speedy receiver caught one pass for 11 yards. Expect Darnell Mooney, Equanimeous St. Brown and Dante Pettis to take on an expanded role for the remainder of Sunday's contest against the Texans if Pringle isn't able to return.
-
Marquez Callaway WR | LV
Saints' Marquez Callaway: Active Sunday
Callaway may be the Saints' return man Sunday against the Panthers, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Callaway was seen fielding punts during warmups. The team's usual return man, Deonte Harty, is a healthy scratch. This is a role Callaway had at times during his rookie season with the team, but it had not carried over since.
-
Khalil Shakir WR | BUF
Bills' Khalil Shakir: Healthy scratch in Week 3
Shakir (coach's decision) is inactive Week 3 against the Dolphins.
Shakir saw two targets across 23 offensive snaps last week against the Titans, but he'll be the odd man out among the wideouts following the return of Gabe Davis (ankle). The Bills will proceed with five active wide receivers, and this move also solidifies the fact that frequent special teams contributor Jake Kumerow is ahead of Shakir on the depth chart.
