Top Jahan Dotson News

  • Falcons' Jahan Dotson: Signing with Falcons

Dotson and the Falcons have reached agreement on a two-year contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Schefter reports it as a two-year, $15 million deal, including $10 million guaranteed at signing. The contract suggests Dotson will compete for a starting job, after he spent two seasons in Philadelphia as a lightly targeted No. 3 WR (37 catches in 34 regular-season games) behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. A 2022 first-round pick, Dotson will turn 26 in March and now figures to compete with fellow free-agent signing Olamide Zaccheaus for playing time alongside No. 1 receiver Drake London.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Finishes season with 18 catches

Dotson finished his second season with the Eagles with a total of 18 receptions for 262 yards and one touchdown in 17 regular-season games.

Dotson's numbers were very similar to last year's 19 catches for 216 yards and zero scores, a big step down from his average of 42 catches for 520.5 yards and 5.5 touchdowns in his first two years in the league with Washington. If he remains stuck behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith in Philadelphia again next season, expect similar production.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Zero catches against Bills

Dotson finished with zero catches on one target in Sunday's 13-12 win over the Bills.

Dotson has now been held without a catch on six different occasions this season and has caught exactly one pass seven times. If the Eagles rest their starters in next week's regular-season finale against the Commanders, he could play a larger role, but with the second seed still a possibility with a win and a Bears loss, that may not be the plan.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Logs three catches vs. Washington

Dotson caught three passes on as many targets for 13 yards during the Eagles' 29-18 win over the Commanders on Saturday.

A.J. Brown (12 targets) and DeVonta Smith (eight targets) dominated the looks from Jalen Hurts during Saturday's win. Dotson got into the action with two catches during the Eagles' first offensive drive of the second half, and he would have had a five-yard touchdown catch to his name had it not been nullified by an offensive holding penalty. Dotson has not seen more than three targets in a game this season, and he'll carry a 15-222-1 line (on 27 targets) into the Eagles' Week 16 road tilt against the Bills on Sunday, Dec. 28. With Philadelphia locked in as the NFC East champions, it's possible that Dotson's fantasy floor gets elevated over the final two games of the regular season if the Eagles decide to reduce the workloads of Brown and Smith before the start of the postseason.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Third zero-target game of 2025

Dotson was not targeted a single time in Sunday's 31-0 win over the Raiders.

The lopsided stat line led to the Eagles rushing 47 times while attempting just 18 passes, so there weren't many targets to go around. Dotson typically doesn't see much action even when the Eagles need to pass, however, averaging just 1.7 targets and 0.9 catches per game this season.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Targeted three times in OT loss

Dotson caught one of three targets for three yards in Monday's 22-19 overtime loss to the Chargers.

Dotson caught just one of three targets for the second straight week, as the fourth-year wideout continues to see minimal usage in the Eagles struggling aerial attack. The 25-year-old should continue to operate as Philadelphia's No. 3 wide receiver, but this role is unlikely to produce much fantasy value down the stretch. Next up for the Eagles is a Week 15 matchup against the Raiders.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Ready for Monday

Dotson (toe) doesn't have a designation for Monday's game at the Chargers.

Dotson was limited in the first two practices of Week 14 prep due to a toe injury, but his return to all activity Saturday has him in the clear for Monday. In 12 games this season, he's had a few splash plays but mustered just a cumulative 11-206-1 line on 21 targets while working behind the top WR duo of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Limited in practice again

Dotson (toe) remained limited at Friday's practice, Andrew DiCecco of InsideTheBirds.com reports.

Dotson has one more chance to upgrade to full participation ahead of Monday's matchup with the Chargers. He was listed as a limited participant both Thursday and Friday.
