  • Kadarius Toney WR | CLE

Giants' Kadarius Toney: Limited practice Thursday

Toney (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Toney appears caught in an unfortunate cycle of practicing off and on throughout the week only to barely play on game day, neither taking the time to recover fully nor progressing sufficiently during practice to fit into the game plan to any meaningful extent. That he improved his snap count share from 12 to 37 percent from Week 1 to Week 2 might be seen as a sign of progress, though that workload increase might have been partially subsidized by Kenny Golladay only playing two snaps in what seemed like something of a message from new coach Brian Daboll in Week 2. For Toney to really feature in the Giants game plan he'll evidently need to turn some sort of corner in practice. How Toney fits into the Giants' game plan against Dallas on Monday is anyone's guess in the meantime.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: No Thursday practice

Robinson (knee) did not practice Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

The Giants play Monday so Robinson has time to return to practice yet this week, but the question of whether he'll be able to isn't clear. Even if Robinson practices in some capacity this week, it's also not clear whether he's a realistic bet to return to the field Monday. Particularly with Richie James playing relatively well in the slot, the Giants might not be inclined to rush Robinson back from the knee injury, which he suffered Week 1.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Still limited

Pittman (quadriceps) remained limited at practice Thursday, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Both Pittman and Alec Pierce (concussion/full practice) missed this past Sunday's 24-0 loss to the Jaguars, but the duo could be available this weekend against the Chiefs. While Pittman declined to comment on his quad injury Thursday, back-to-back limited sessions on his part are encouraging. Friday's final injury report will reveal whether Indy's top wideout approaches Week 3 action with an injury designation or fully cleared to return.

  • Bears' Velus Jones: Logs limited practice Thursday

Jones (hamstring) was limited at practice Thursday.

This marks Jones' second time getting on the practice field this season as he attempts to put a hamstring injury behind him. If he's able to maintain or even increase his activity level at Friday's session, he could put himself in a position to make his NFL debut Sunday against the Texans.

  • Quez Watkins WR | PHI

Eagles' Quez Watkins: Practices in limited fashion

Watkins (illness) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday.

One day removed from sitting out due to an illness, Watkins was back on the field with a cap on his reps. He's seemingly on a path to play Sunday at Washington, a notion that could be confirmed as soon as the Eagles post their final Week 3 injury report Friday.

  • Kyle Philips WR | LV

Titans' Kyle Philips: Remains limited Thursday

Philips (shoulder) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Although the Titans didn't hold a full Wednesday practice, Philips' estimated participation level was listed as limited for that day as well. Two limited practices would normally have a player on track to play going into Friday practices, so as long as the rookie's shoulder avoids any setbacks he should be on track to suit up against Las Vegas on Sunday, even if limited to some extent.

  • Treylon Burks WR | WAS

Titans' Treylon Burks: Upgrades to full practice

Burks (ankle) was a full practice participant Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Burks' full participation Thursday can likely be read as confirmation that he's at or near full strength, and even his limited participation designation from Wednesday was only a walkthrough estimation rather than a proper practice. If the ankle issue is behind him then Burks should be ready to contribute against Las Vegas on Sunday. According to TitanInsider.com's Terry McCormick, offensive coordinator Todd Downing said Burks has "been growing every week" and could see more touches if his development remains on track.

  • Gabe Davis WR | BUF

Bills' Gabe Davis: Limited Thursday, expects to play

Davis (ankle) remained limited at practice Thursday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

Matt Parrino of The Syracuse Post-Standard notes that while Davis practiced with his right ankle heavily taped up Thursday, the wideout "seemed to hold up OK after some hard stops." For his part, Davis has indicated that he's 100 percent optimistic about playing Sunday against the Dolphins, a notion that would be solidified by a full practice listing for him Friday.

  • Randall Cobb WR | NYJ

Packers' Randall Cobb: Another DNP on Thursday

Cobb (illness) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Cobb hasn't been present during Week 3 prep due to an illness, but he at least has one more chance to get on the field Friday, at which point the Packers may provide some clarity on the health of the team's receiving corps ahead of Sunday's game at Tampa Bay. All of Allen Lazard (ankle), Sammy Watkins (hamstring) and Christian Watson (hamstring) are tending to injuries this week.

  • Devin Duvernay WR | ARI

Ravens' Devin Duvernay: Back at practice

Duvernay (concussion) returned to practice Thursday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

It remains to be seen if Duvernay has fully cleared the NFL's concussion protocol, but the wideout's presence at practice Thursday bodes well for his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Patriots.
