Keenan Allen WR | IND
Chargers' Keenan Allen: Set for individual work
Allen (hamstring) is in line to do some individual work during Wednesday's practice, Jeff Miller of the Los Angeles Times reports.
An update on Allen's status will be provided later Wednesday, when the Chargers will disclose whether the wideout was a non-participant or limited participant in practice. In any case, the wideout's ability to work in some fashion to start the week is a positive indicator ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
-
Gabe Davis WR | BUF
Bills' Gabe Davis: Limited in practice
Davis (ankle) was listed as a limited participant at Wednesday's walk-through practice, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.
Though Davis was inactive for this past Monday's win over the Titans, his limited participation Wednesday is a sign that the wideout could be back in action this weekend against Miami. If, however, Davis is out Sunday, Jake Kumerow would be on tap for more snaps alongside Isaiah McKenzie and Stefon Diggs.
-
Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE
Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Not practicing Wednesday
Jeudy (ribs) won't practice Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Per Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com, the Broncos have received positive news regarding Jeudy's rib issue, but head coach Nathaniel Hackett isn't sure if the wideout will practice this week. With that in mind, Jeudy's status for this Sunday's game against the 49ers is unclear. On the plus side for the Broncos, fellow wideout KJ Hamler (knee/hip) -- who was inactive Week 2 against the Texans -- will practice in a limited fashion Wednesday.
-
Devin Duvernay WR | ARI
Ravens' Devin Duvernay: Not practicing Wednesday
Duvernay (concussion) didn't practice Wednesday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Duvernay now has two more chances to return to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Patriots, but if he's unable to clear the five-step concussion protocol before then, Demarcus Robinson and Tylan Wallace would be candidates for added snaps alongside Rashod Bateman.
-
Wan'Dale Robinson WR | TEN
Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Working on side Wednesday
Robinson (knee) was spotted working on the side with team trainers during Wednesday's practice, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
He was joined on the side field by fellow wide receivers Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Sterling Shepard (rest). Robinson injured his right knee in the season opener and didn't practice last week before the Giants ruled him out for Week 2. It's unclear if the rookie second-round pick will mix into drills this week, but the first practice report of Week 3 -- which the team isn't required to post until Thursday -- will reveal whether or not he did so.
-
Cedrick Wilson Jr. WR | DET
Dolphins' Cedrick Wilson: Not taking contact
Wilson (ribs/toe) is practicing in a red non-contact jersey Wednesday and will be listed as a limited participant on the Dolphins' official report, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.
Wilson avoided suffering any structural damage to his ribs during Sunday's comeback win over the Ravens, but he'll still be eased into Week 3 prep. If Wilson misses the Dolphins' game against the Bills this weekend, rookie fourth-round pick Erik Ezukanma could have an opportunity to make his NFL debut. The No. 3 wideout only has three targets through two games, as Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are established as Tua Tagovailoa's clear top receiving options.
-
Alec Pierce WR | IND
Colts' Alec Pierce: On track to practice
Pierce (concussion) is slated to practice Wednesday, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.
Fellow wideout Michael Pittman (quadriceps) is also set to take the field for the Colts' first Week 3 practice session, with head coach Frank Reich expressing optimism that both players will have a good chance to play Sunday against the Chiefs. After being shut out by Jacksonville in Week 2, the Colts offense can use all the help it can get this weekend, and Pierce's anticipated participation in practice Wednesday offers hope that he's progressing through the NFL's concussion protocol.
-
Rondale Moore WR | MIN
Cardinals' Rondale Moore: Called day-to-day
Head coach Kliff Kingsbury said Wednesday that Moore (hamstring) is day-to-day, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Moore is still looking to make his 2022 debut, having sat out Arizona's first two games due to a lingering hamstring issue. Per Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com, Moore doesn't appear to be participating in Wednesday's practice, but an official word on his activity will come when the team releases its first Week 3 injury report later in the day. Greg Dortch has been the main beneficiary of increased opportunities with Moore and Andy Isabella (hamstring) sidelined the past two weeks.
-
Michael Pittman WR | PIT
Colts' Michael Pittman: Will practice Wednesday
Pittman (quadriceps) is scheduled to practice Wednesday, Stephen Holder of ESPN.com reports.
Pittman's return to practice is a notable step in the right direction, even if he only ends up handling limited reps. The wideout's status is crucial for Indianapolis' matchup against the Chiefs on Sunday, as Matt Ryan and the Colts offense were unable to score a single point without Pittman versus Jacksonville in Week 2. Head coach Frank Reich previously expressed optimism that Pittman's quad injury might only result in one absence.
-
Kadarius Toney WR | CLE
Giants' Kadarius Toney: No practice Wednesday
Toney isn't practicing Wednesday due to hamstring soreness, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Toney continues to nurse a lingering hamstring issue that has landed him on the injury report both of the first two weeks of the season. The second-year wideout has avoided the inactive list for both of the Giants' games, but he played only 12 and 37 percent of offensive snaps in Weeks 1 and 2, respectively. He'll work to get fully healthy ahead of Monday's divisional contest against Dallas.
