Dante Pettis WR | BUF
Bears' Dante Pettis: Scores in Chicago debut
Pettis caught his only target for a 51-yard touchdown in the Bears' 19-10 win over the 49ers on Sunday.
On his touchdown, Pettis had the defense ignore him when Justin Fields started to run away from the play. Given time, Fields looked back and found his receiver open for an easy catch-and-run score. After a strong preseason, he could find himself in the mix for weekly targets while playing in a depth role.

Christian Kirk WR | SF
Jaguars' Christian Kirk: Breaks century mark with new team
Kirk caught six passes (12 targets) for 117 yards in Sunday's 28-22 loss to the Commanders.
Kirk hit the ground running with his new club, leading Jacksonville in every receiving category Sunday. The 25-year-old went from being the second or third receiving option during his four years in Arizona to now potentially being Trevor Lawrence's favorite target with the Jaguars. Fantasy managers who drafted Kirk have to be pleased with their decision heading into a Week 2 matchup against the Colts.
-
Byron Pringle WR | WAS
Bears' Byron Pringle: One grab in opener
Pringle caught one pass for 22 yards in the Bears' 19-10 win over the 49ers on Sunday.
There wasn't much passing going on in a game played in terrible field conditions with heavy rain coming down at various points. Pringle's other target was on a deep pass in the end zone, but the ball was overthrown. We'll get a better feel for his role if the Week 2 game at Green Bay is played in better conditions.
-
Garrett Wilson WR | NYJ
Jets' Garrett Wilson: Tops 50 yards in NFL debut
Wilson caught four of eight targets for 52 yards in Sunday's 24-9 loss to the Ravens.
Wilson finished second behind Corey Davis (77) in receiving yards, totaling three more than Elijah Moore. Each of New York's top three wide receivers were heavily involved in the game plan, which should continue to be the case moving forward. Joe Flacco's expected to start under center again in Week 2 against the Browns after filling in for Zach Wilson (knee) against Baltimore.
-
DeAndre Carter WR | CLE
Chargers' DeAndre Carter: Emerges as key target
Carter caught three of his four targets for 64 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-19 victory over the Raiders.
An offseason import from the Commanders, Carter immediately made an impact after Keenan Allen left with a hamstring injury, as he raced up the seam for a 23-yard touchdown catch to close the first half. With Jalen Guyton noticeably absent from the Chargers' offensive gameplan, Carter is easily the team's fastest wideout and thus could be the biggest benefit of Herbert's electric arm. If Allen misses additional time, the 29-year-old could make for an intriguing pickup in deeper fantasy leagues.
-
Corey Davis WR | NYJ
Jets' Corey Davis: Leading receiver in Week 1 loss
Davis caught six of nine targets for 77 yards in Sunday's 24-9 loss to the Ravens.
Davis led the Jets in receiving yards and was one of six players to draw at least seven targets from Joe Flacco, as an early deficit forced New York into a pass-heavy game script. Flacco's expected to remain under center in Week 2 against the Browns, but even when Zach Wilson (knee) comes back, Davis should remain a key cog in the Jets' passing game. Rookie first-round pick Garrett Wilson finished second on the team with 52 receiving yards, followed by Elijah Moore at 49, so New York's top three wide receivers were all moderately productive in the season opener.
-
Romeo Doubs WR | NE
Packers' Romeo Doubs: Makes four grabs
Doubs caught four of five targets for 37 yards in Sunday's 23-7 loss to the Vikings. He also rushed once for 11 yards.
Doubs made his presence felt more over the course of Sunday's game, turning in a solid but unspectacular debut. Although teammate Allen Lazard (ankle) could return for Week 2's matchup versus the Bears, Doubs should continue to get meaningful playing time as he strives to emerge as one of quarterback Aaron Rodgers' top targets.
-
Darnell Mooney WR | NYG
Bears' Darnell Mooney: Slow start to season
Mooney caught one pass on three targets for eight yards in the Bears' 19-10 win over the 49ers on Sunday.
Mooney didn't make his only catch until the fourth quarter, though he was targeted three times. Both teams combined to throw for just 285 yards, as the game was played on a soaked field along with intermittent heavy rain. Mooney should go back to being heavily targeted when the Bears travel to Green Bay next week.
-
Hunter Renfrow WR | CAR
Raiders' Hunter Renfrow: Quiet Week 1 showing
Renfrow caught three passes on six targets for 21 yards against the Chargers on Sunday.
The Raiders aggressively fed Davante Adams, giving him 17 of the Raiders' 35 targets and leaving only six each for Renfrow and Darren Waller. The target distribution will probably need to be more even in upcoming weeks, but for now it appears Renfrow might struggle to obtain the target volume necessary to approach his 2021 production. Renfrow is clearly a good player, though, so if the Raiders decide to prioritize him more in the future he'll likely be ready for the call.
-
Christian Watson WR | GB
Packers' Christian Watson: Wastes early opportunity
Watson caught two of four targets for 32 yards and rushed once for seven yards in Sunday's 23-7 loss to the Vikings.
Watson dropped a would-be 75-yard touchdown on Green Bay's first offensive play, beginning his NFL career on a sour note. Although he subsequently got involved as a ball carrier and made a couple catches late in the game, the rookie second-rounder will surely strive for a better showing in Week 2 versus the Bears. Fortunately for him, he should continue to get opportunities to make plays as the Packers' receiving corps remains relatively fluid.
