  • Rashod Bateman WR | BAL

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Not slated to play Saturday

Bateman isn't in line to play in Saturday's preseason finale against the Commanders, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

The same applies to fellow WRs Devin Duvernay, James Proche, (undisclosed) and Tylan Wallace, with the Ravens' coaching staff using the team's exhibition finale to evaluate depth options ahead of roster cut-downs. Bateman's next game action will occur in Week 1 against the Jets, with the 2021 first-rounder poised to work as Baltimore's top wideout this coming season.

  • DeVonta Smith WR | PHI

Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Not slated to play Saturday

Smith is unlikely to play in Saturday's preseason finale against the Dolphins with coach Nick Sirianni expected to sit Eagles starters, Josh Tolentino of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Smith's next game action is slated to arrive Week 1 against the Lions on Sunday, Sept. 11. In his second season as a pro, the 2021 first-round pick is in line to see plenty of snaps and targets from quarterback Jalen Hurts while operating with fellow wideout A.J. Brown.

  • A.J. Brown WR | NE

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Not expected to play Saturday

Brown is unlikely to play in Saturday's preseason finale versus the Dolphins with coach Nick Sirianni expected to sit Eagles starters, Josh Tolentino of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Brown's next game action will arrive Week 1 against the Lions on Sunday, Sept. 11. In his first season with the Eagles, the 2019 second-rounder is slated to log plenty of snaps and targets from quarterback Jalen Hurts while working alongside fellow wideout DeVonta Smith.

  • Treylon Burks WR | WAS

Titans' Treylon Burks: In uniform Saturday

Burks is in uniform for Saturday's preseason finale against the Cardinals, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

As is veteran wideout Robert Woods, as it appears as though the duo may be poised to log some snaps Saturday. If so, the two players could be limited to abbreviated appearances, but it would nonetheless be a very positive development with regard to the composition of the Titans' receiving corps ahead of Week 1 action.

  • Browns' Michael Woods: Likely out again

Woods (hamstring) is not expected to play in Saturday's preseason finale, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Woods hasn't played in any preseason contests to date as he's dealing with a lingering hamstring issue. Ja'Marcus Bradley, Javon Wims and Mike Harley should see increased playing time provided Woods is out.

  • Russell Gage WR | SF

Buccaneers' Russell Gage: Unlikely to play Saturday

Gage (leg) isn't slated to play in Saturday's preseason contest at Indianapolis, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Gage thus will miss out on a chance to get some in-game reps with Tom Brady ahead of the regular season, the result of a left leg injury that has sidelined the wide receiver since a joint practice with the Dolphins on Aug. 10. Chris Godwin (knee) also won't suit up in the Buccaneers' exhibition finale, meaning Mike Evans and Julio Jones will be the team's top healthy options available at the position. Meanwhile, Gage will look to get healthy for a Week 1 road matchup with the Cowboys on Sunday, Sept. 11.

  • Tyreek Hill WR | MIA

Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Available to play Saturday

Hill is available to play in Saturday's preseason finale against the Eagles, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

As is starting QB Tua Tagovailoa, but it remains to be seen how much work the duo will see Saturday. Once Week 1 rolls around, Hill is slated to see plenty of snaps and targets in Miami's offense alongside fellow WR Jaylen Waddle .

  • Jahan Dotson WR | ATL

Commanders' Jahan Dotson: Not playing in preseason finale

Dotson will not play in Saturday's preseason finale against the Ravens, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.

The Commanders are opting to rest the top four wide receivers listed on the depth chart, leaving just Dyami Brown and Dax Milne among the crew of wide receivers playing Saturday with a realistic chance at making the final 53-man roster. Dotson is expected to be a featured target in the Commanders' passing attack, particularly with the team's discouraging health issues at tight end.

  • Jaylen Waddle WR | DEN

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Won't play Saturday

Waddle (undisclosed) is not in line to play in Saturday's preseason finale against the Eagles.

Waddle's next game action is thus on tap for the Dolphins' Week 1 contest against the Patriots. At that time, he's slated to combine with Tyreek Hill to form one of the more dynamic 1-2 WR punches in the NFL.

  • Curtis Samuel WR | BUF

Commanders' Curtis Samuel: Out against Baltimore

Samuel will not play in Saturday's preseason matchup against the Ravens, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.

The Commanders are opting to rest the majority of their starters on both sides of the ball after playing mostly everyone in the last week's exhibition loss. Dyami Brown and Dax Milne should see a bevy of playing time, with the duo expected to fight for one of the team's final spots on the 53-man roster.
