Jamison Crowder WR | WAS
Bills' Jamison Crowder: Dealing with soreness
Crowder (undisclosed) will not practice Tuesday due to soreness, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.
Coach Sean McDermott considers Crowder "day-to-day." The veteran slot specialist has now missed two consecutive practices, but there's not yet any indication that he's dealing with a potential long-term issue. As long as Crowder remains sidelined it will mean increased opportunities for other wideouts to handle reps behind Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis, including Isaiah McKenzie and rookie fifth-round pick Khalil Shakir. Crowder is said to be competing with McKenzie for the key starting role in the slot.

Justyn Ross WR | KC
Chiefs' Justyn Ross: Lands on IR
The Chiefs placed Ross (foot) on IR on Monday.
Ross recently had foot surgery and will be out for the entire 2022 season, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. After a promising freshman season at Clemson, the 6-foot-4 wideout has battled injuries. There's still potential for Ross to become a productive NFL starter, but he'll now have to wait until at least next year to try to realize it. In the meantime, Kansas City's wideout corp is currently headed by JuJu Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Skyy Moore.

Blake Proehl WR | MIN
Vikings' Blake Proehl: On PUP list
Proehl (knee) was placed on Minnesota's active/PUP list Monday, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Proehl suffered a torn ACL during last year's training camp, so it doesn't come as much of a surprise that he still needs some time to recover before returning to practice. The 23-year-old sophomore will face an uphill battle for a spot on the Vikings' 53-man roster if/when he returns to the field.

Devon Williams WR | BAL
Ravens' Devon Williams: Placed on NFI list
Williams (undisclosed) was placed on the active/non-football injury list Sunday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Williams didn't show up for training camp Wednesday, and he now has suffered another setback in his quest to make the Ravens' roster. The undrafted free agent out of Oregon already was considered a long shot to make the team, and this may not help.

John Metchie III WR | CAR
Texans' John Metchie: Placed on NFI following diagnosis
The Texans placed Metchie (knee/illness) on the active/non-football illness list Sunday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Metchie released a statement earlier Sunday stating that he was recently diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia and likely won't play football during the 2022 campaign. While the diagnosis is concerning, the rookie wideout believes he'll make a full recovery and will take as much time as necessary before returning to football activities. Metchie's statement said, "My main focus will be on my health and recovery. Thank you in advance for your support and well-wishes. I cannot wait to come back strong than ever. God bless."

Jameson Williams WR | DET
Lions' Jameson Williams: Placed on non-football injury list
The Lions placed Williams (knee) on the active/non-football injury list Sunday.
As expected, Williams won't be ready for the start of training camp and instead will continue his rehab from the ACL surgery he had in January. After investing the 12th overall pick on the wideout, the Lions likely will continue to exercise the utmost caution, but when the rookie eventually is cleared, he'll form a potentially dynamic WR trio with Amon-Ra St. Brown and DJ Chark.

John Metchie III WR | CAR
Texans' John Metchie: Diagnosed with APL
Metchie (knee) released a statement Sunday that said he recently was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia and likely won't be playing football during the 2022 campaign.
Luckily, APL is the most curable form of Leukemia, so Metchie believes that he'll make a full recovery after receiving the necessary medical care. Regardless, the rookie second-round pick is expected to take as much time as necessary before returning to football activities. Metchie's statement said, "My main focus will be on my health and recovery. Thank you in advance for your support and well-wishes. I cannot wait to come back stronger than ever. God bless."

Mike Strachan WR | WAS
Colts' Mike Strachan: Placed on active/PUP list
The Colts placed Strachan (undisclosed) on the active/PUP list Sunday, Chris Widlic of CBS4Indy reports.
Strachan was absent from spring workouts due to the same issue, but the extent of it remains unknown. The 2021 seventh-round pick caught just two of three targets for 26 yards across six appearances last year and was set to have an expanded role in 2022, but he'll have to fight for a roster spot after missing so much time during the offseason.

Skyy Moore WR | GB
Chiefs' Skyy Moore: Healthy to open camp
Moore (hamstring) participated in Saturday's practice, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
This follows a statement from the rookie second-rounder Friday in which he told Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com that he's "100 percent" after dealing with a hamstring issue during the offseason program. On Saturday, coach Andy Reid noted Moore "looked smooth and strong," and "his leg looked like it healed up well." Now that Moore is healthy, he'll look to make inroads in a wide receiver group that lost Tyreek Hill this offseason, leaving the likes of JuJu Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Moore to vie for slotting at the top of the depth chart.

Justyn Ross WR | KC
Chiefs' Justyn Ross: Officially lands on PUP list
Ross (foot) was added to the Chiefs' active/PUP list Saturday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Ross's addition to the list comes just one day after Chiefs coach Andy Reid said the wideout would be unavailable to practice by the start of training camp. Ross can be removed from this list and practice at any point before the regular season, though he will first need a medical clearance for the foot injury that has ailed him since his college season.
