Brandon Aiyuk WR | SF
49ers' Brandon Aiyuk: Breaks out in Week 9 loss
Aiyuk caught six of eight targets for 89 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Cardinals.
It was by far the best performance of the year for Aiyuk, as he set season highs in catches, yards and targets while scoring his second TD of 2021 on an 11-yard strike from Jimmy Garoppolo in the third quarter. It's been a tough first half for Aiyuk, who has had trouble getting out of Kyle Shanahan's doghouse and reclaiming a prime spot in the offense, but he'll take some well-earned momentum into a Week 10 clash with the Rams.

Deebo Samuel WR | SF
49ers' Deebo Samuel: Takes back seat in loss to Cards
Samuel caught five of nine targets for 63 yards in Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Cardinals.
While the third-year receiver led the 49ers in targets, Samuel saw both Brandon Aiyuk and the returning George Kittle surpass him in receptions and yards on the afternoon, with each of the pair also finding the end zone. Samuel still hasn't seen fewer than eight targets in a game all season, and Sunday was only the second time in eight contests he didn't either score a TD or reach 100 scrimmage yards. He'll look to get back on track in Week 10 against the Rams.
-
Robert Woods WR | PIT
Rams' Robert Woods: Eclipses century mark
Woods (foot) had seven receptions (10 targets) for 98 yards and one carry for six yards in Sunday's 28-16 loss to the Titans.
Woods was dealing with a nagging foot injury during practice this week, but he didn't appear hampered by the issue and turned in a strong fantasy performance. Cooper Kupp is clearly the top wideout for the Rams, but the reliable veteran Woods has been a solid contributor with some notable fantasy outings sprinkled throughout. There is a good chance both starting wideouts will get to eat next Monday against the 49ers, whose secondary has been decimated by injury and overall poor production this season.
-
Jalen Reagor WR | MIA
Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Puts up negative yardage in loss
Reagor caught his only target for a loss of six yards in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Chargers.
The Eagles have drastically reduced their passing attempts over the last two games, leaving precious few opportunities for tertiary options like Reagor. He now has just three catches for 19 yards over his last four games.
-
A.J. Brown WR | NE
Titans' A.J. Brown: Leads team in receiving yards
Brown (knee) had five receptions (11 targets) for 42 yards in Sunday's 28-16 win over the Rams.
Brown's stat line looks poor on paper, but the wideout had to deal with shutdown corner Jalen Ramsey while dealing with a minor knee injury, and he still led the Titans in targets and receiving yardage. Tennessee didn't have to pass much in what turned out to be a lopsided contest spearheaded by a dominant defensive performance, so an unfavorable game script is also to blame. Overall, Brown should see heavy usage in the second half of the season following the news of Derrick Henry (foot) being shut down for the immediate future.
-
Christian Kirk WR | SF
Cardinals' Christian Kirk: Big day in big win
Kirk caught all six of his targets for 91 yards and completed a 33-yard pass in Sunday's 31-17 win over the 49ers.
With DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) and A.J. Green (COVID-19) both out of the lineup, Kirk stepped up as the Cards' No. 1 receiver, leading the team in catches, targets and receiving yards. He also tossed a pass to Antoine Wesley on a gadget play late in the first quarter that nearly went for a touchdown, but Wesley went out of bounds just shy of the goal line. Kirk has caught at least three passes in eight of nine games this season, giving him a fairly secure floor, but his role in the offense will depend on the availability of Hopkins and Green heading into a Week 10 clash with the Panthers.
-
Cooper Kupp WR | SEA
Rams' Cooper Kupp: Monster PPR performance
Kupp corralled 11 of 13 targets for 95 yards in Sunday's 28-16 loss to the Titans.
Kupp fell just short of extending his streak of 100-plus receiving yard games to four, but he did record his second double-digit reception day this season. The 28-year-old has arguably been the best wideout in all of football this year, totaling 74 receptions, 1,019 yards and 10 touchdowns through nine games. Kupp's fantasy managers will be delighted to see the 49ers on tap for the Week 10 Monday Night Football matchup, as San Francisco's secondary has been a revolving door for opposing wideouts this season.
-
Quez Watkins WR | IND
Eagles' Quez Watkins: Two more catches in loss
Watkins caught two of his three targets for nine yards in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Chargers.
For the second straight game, the Eagles attempted fewer than 20 passes, with DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert each seeing six. That left mere scraps for Watkins, the ostensible third receiving option on the team. While he continued his streak of at least a pair of catches in every game this season, the nine yards were his fewest of the year.
-
DeVonta Smith WR | PHI
Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Big effort in loss
Smith caught five of six targets for 116 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Chargers.
While the rookie didn't see big volume, Smith still put together a huge performance as the only receiving option of note for the Eagles. It's his second career game with 100-plus yards, while the TD was his first since Week 1. He'll look to keep building momentum in a Week 10 tilt against the Broncos.
-
Mike Williams WR | LAC
Chargers' Mike Williams: Only two catches against Eagles
Williams caught two of five targets for 58 yards in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Eagles.
The fifth-year receiver finished second on the Chargers in targets, but he was far below Keenan Allen's 13. Williams has seen exactly five targets in three straight games, resulting in only six catches for 104 yards -- a slump he'll look to snap in Week 10 against the Vikings.
