Sterling Shepard WR | NYJ
Giants' Sterling Shepard: Limited again Friday
Shepard (hamstring) remained limited in practice Friday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Shepard has battled hamstring injuries for much of the season, having already missed three games due to them. He'll have an extra day to recover ahead of the Giants' Week 8 trip to Kansas City, but the Monday start time is a double-edged sword for Shepard's fantasy managers, as replacement options will be limited if he ultimately sits. Shepard has practiced in a limited fashion so far this week and is likely to be labeled questionable when the Giants release their final injury report Saturday.

Kadarius Toney WR | CLE
Giants' Kadarius Toney: Returns as limited participant
Toney (ankle) was a limited participant in his return to practice Friday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
As expected, given that it was Toney's first practice since aggravating an ankle injury during the Giants' Week 6 loss to Los Angeles. The rookie declined to say anything about his expectations for Monday's game in Kansas City, simply telling the media he did "enough" work during Friday's practice and is taking things day by day, per Dan Duggan of The Athletic. Sterling Shepard (hamstring) also was a limited participant Friday, while Kenny Golladay (knee) missed another practice and thus appears headed for a third straight absence. Toney, on the other hand, seemingly has a shot to suit up Monday night.

Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE
Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Not spotted at Friday's practice
Jeudy (ankle) wasn't seen at the portion of Friday's practice that's open to the media, Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com reports.
Jeudy said at Thursday's press conference that he's "back in action" and "ready to go" after being designated to return from injured reserve last week, but he's apparently not practicing Friday after looking good earlier in the week. The 22-year-old was expected to be activated from injured reserve and play Sunday versus Washington, but his outlook for this weekend now looks a bit murky.

Jakeem Grant WR | ATL
Bears' Jakeem Grant: Questionable for Week 8
Grant (ankle) is considered questionable for the Bears' Week 8 contest with the 49ers on Sunday.
Grant suffered his ankle injury against the Packers in Week 6 and has had a minimal role on the Bears' offense so far this season. The receiver has only recorded two catches all season and he has yet to play more than seven offensive snaps in a game. If Grant is unable to suit up, it's likely Breshad Perriman will fill his depth receiver role against the 49ers.

J.J. Arcega-Whiteside WR | ATL
Eagles' J.J. Arcega-Whiteside: Questionable against Lions
Arcega-Whiteside (back) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions, Martin Frank of the Delaware News Journal reports.
Arcega-Whiteside suffered the back injury while making a special-teams tackle in Week 7 against the Raiders. Even if he plays, Philadelphia's disappointing 2019 second-round pick is unlikely to have much of a role on offense, as he's yet to have a pass thrown his way this season and has just 14 catches in his 31-game career.
-
A.J. Brown WR | NE
Titans' A.J. Brown: Not spotted at practice Friday
Brown (undisclosed) wasn't spotted during the open portion of Friday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
After being limited Wednesday for rest purposes, Brown returned to a full practice Thursday. Friday's final injury report will reveal whether the wideout's absence from the early portion of practice was maintenance-related or indicative of a setback that could result in a Week 8 injury designation approaching Sunday's game against the Colts.

Cam Sims WR | CAR
Football Team's Cam Sims: Questionable for Week 8 return
Sims (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Denver, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Sims returned to practice Wednesday after missing the past three games. He saw just three targets on 35 offensive snaps over the first four weeks of the season, but there's a chance Sims joins the starting lineup if he's able to play Sunday, as both Curtis Samuel (groin) and Dyami Brown (knee) are ruled out. Sims previously was a starter for Washington's final 10 regular-season games last year, averaging 2.9 catches for 43.8 yards on 4.5 targets in that stretch.
-
Terrace Marshall Jr. WR | MIA
Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Remains absent in Week 8
Marshall (concussion) won't play Sunday against the Falcons, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Marshall was able to practice in limited fashion Friday, but he'll be sidelined for a second consecutive game by the concussion he suffered in Week 6. Shi Smith and Alex Erickson will continue to vie for snaps in three-receiver sets alongside DJ Moore and Robby Anderson, though their roles aren't expected to be fruitful with Sam Darnold struggling to connect with any receivers besides Moore on a consistent basis. Marshall will look to return to action in Week 9 against the Patriots.
-
Dyami Brown WR | WAS
Football Team's Dyami Brown: Won't play this week
Brown (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game in Denver, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
With Brown and Curtis Samuel (groin) both out, Cam Sims could be in the mix for a start this week, though he's listed as questionable after missing the past three games with a hamstring injury. The other options to line up alongside Terry McLaurin and slot man Adam Humphries are DeAndre Carter, Dax Milne and Antonio Gandy-Golden.
-
Curtis Samuel WR | BUF
Football Team's Curtis Samuel: Out again, as expected
Samuel (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's game in Denver, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Coach Ron Rivera did mention Friday that Samuel won't be placed on injured reserve, as a second stint would rule him out for the rest of the season, per Ben Standig of The Athletic. Rivera still expects Samuel to contribute down the stretch this season, though he didn't mention a specific timeline for the wideout to return after the team's Week 9 bye.
