Keith Kirkwood WR | BAL
Panthers' Keith Kirkwood: Catches three passes
Kirkwood caught three of five targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 25-3 loss to the Giants.
Kirkwood was activated with fellow wideout Terrace Marshall (concussion) sidelined. In his first action of 2021, the veteran finished third on the Panthers in receiving yards, but his total was underwhelming overall. Kirkwood's status for Week 8 versus the Falcons could depend on Marshall's availability, but the depth receiving role in a struggling Panthers offense doesn't coincide with much fantasy value anyway.

Isaiah Ford WR | CHI
Dolphins' Isaiah Ford: Scores on sole catch
Ford secured his only target for a 10-yard touchdown during Sunday's 30-28 loss to the Falcons.
Ford handled a slightly increased role with DeVante Parker (shoulder) still sidelined, but he still didn't see enough volume to warrant fantasy consideration Week 8 against the Bills. However, that Ford was able to score on his lone target does highlight the fact that he's a reliable depth piece for Miami.

DJ Chark WR | ATL
Jaguars' DJ Chark: Officially out for season
Coach Urban Meyer confirmed Monday that Chark (ankle) is out for the season, John Shipley of SI.com reports.
Meyer took his time confirming the length of Chark's recovery timetable, as the wideout was placed on IR due to a fractured left ankle back on Oct. 4, but the season-ending nature of his injury can now be considered official. As Meyer noted Monday, Jamal Agnew has impressed over the last two weeks after stepping into a larger role on offense, but Marvin Jones and Laviska Shenault remain the clear top two wideouts on Jacksonville's depth chart.

Amon-Ra St. Brown WR | DET
Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Donut in LA
St. Brown was not targeted with a pass during Sunday's 28-19 loss to the Rams.
After seeing at least seven targets in three straight games, St. Brown again logged over 60 percent of the offensive snaps but this time no passes were sent his way. Instead, Kalif Raymond, T.J. Hockenson and D'Andre Swift combined for nearly 85 percent of the targets while cornerback Bobby Price even caught a pass. While it's unfortunate to learn that this is the floor for a promising up-and-comer like St. Brown as long as Jared Goff is under center -- and the competition for targets could increase depending on the availability of Tyrell Williams (concussion) -- St. Brown is still seeing enough playing time to think a bounce-back performance in Week 8 against the Eagles is possible, particularly in PPR settings.
-
Adam Humphries WR | HOU
Football Team's Adam Humphries: Puts up 36 yards
Humphries caught three of four targets for 36 yards in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Packers.
The veteran slot receiver is now averaging 2.6 catches for 26.4 yards on 3.7 targets per game, playing 53-to-70 percent of offensive snaps in each contest. His role hasn't really grown or shrunk while Washington has dealt with WR injuries around him, with Humphries consistently operating as the slot guy for three-wide formations. He'll fill the same role Week 8 at Denver in a matchup between teams with arguably the two most disappointing defenses in the league.
-
Dax Milne WR | CAR
Football Team's Dax Milne: Gets four targets
Milne caught two of four targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Packers.
The rookie seventh-round pick played 40 percent of offensive snaps, splitting time with DeAndre Carter (54 percent) after Dyami Brown left with a knee injury in the first half. It was the third straight game in which Milne got double-digit snaps and at least one target, but he's still no higher than sixth or seventh on the depth chart if Washington can ever get its wideout group healthy. With Curtis Samuel (groin) and Cam Sims (hamstring) already absent, the team was missing three of its top five WRs by the end of Sunday's loss. Milne's role for Week 8 at Denver largely depends on the health of those ahead of him.

Nico Collins WR | HOU
Texans' Nico Collins: Leads in yards
Collins caught two of five targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 31-5 loss to Arizona.
Houston quarterback Davis Mills averaged just 4.2 yards-per-attempt, so it was not a banner day for the receiving crew. Collins' 28 yards led all wideouts, which indicates the current state of Houston's offense; the Texans have been outscored 62-8 the last two weeks. During that time, Collins has emerged as the No. 2 wideout. He's been targeted 11 times while playing 60 percent of the snaps the last two weeks, second only to Brandin Cooks among Houston's wide receivers. Unfortunately, the rookie Mills is undergoing a steep learning curve in real time, and NFL defenses are taking advantage. The Texans may get Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) back this week. His return could benefit all concerned skill-position players.
-
Josh Reynolds WR | NYJ
Titans' Josh Reynolds: Racks up 23 yards
Reynolds recorded three receptions on three targets for 23 yards in Sunday's 27-3 win over the Chiefs.
Reynolds has had an inconsistent start to his tenure with the Titans, though he now has multiple receptions in two of his last three games. He benefited from the absence of Chester Rogers (groin) and worked primarily in short areas of the field, with his longest reception of the day going for 11 yards. Reynolds may work behind Rogers when he can return, but Reynolds appears to have moved ahead of Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Marcus Johnson for the time being.
-
Michael Pittman WR | PIT
Colts' Michael Pittman: Leads receiving corps on SNF
Pittman hauled in all four of his targets for 105 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-18 win over the 49ers.
Pittman resumed his role as the Colts' top outside threat with T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) sitting this one out. The 24-year-old took advantage of the opportunity, recording his second 100-plus yard game of the season as well as his second trip to the end zone. Pittman has been the team's most-consistent wideout and fantasy producer at the position, but fantasy managers need to monitor Hilton's status for next week's matchup against the Titans, as Pittman took a backseat (two catches for 35 yards) to the veteran in the lone game they played in together Week 6.
-
Deebo Samuel WR | SF
49ers' Deebo Samuel: Reaches century mark while scoring
Samuel had seven receptions (11 targets) for 100 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-18 loss to the Colts.
Samuel did not record a rushing attempt for the first time since Week 1, and he also lost a fumble in the heavy rain at Levi's Stadium. That's where the bad news ends, as the dynamic wideout posted his third 100-yard game with a score through six contests this year. The 49ers offense looked lost for extended periods Sunday, but Samuel is proving to be an asset that can produce regardless of the situation surrounding him. The third-year wideout is about as must-start as they come for next week's tilt against the Bears.
