Chris Godwin WR | TB
Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Five targets in Sunday's win
Godwin had three receptions (five targets) for 55 yards in Sunday's 19-17 win over the Patriots.
Godwin surprisingly finished tied for fourth in targets amongst all Tampa Bay receiving options, resulting in his lowest yardage output through four weeks this season. Tom Brady had his worst passing performance of the year against his old club, so the receiving numbers were down across the board. The 25-year-old has been a consistent fantasy producer while co-starting with Mike Evans, so there is little to worry about regarding a rare dud from the Buccaneers' air attack. Godwin gets a favorable matchup against the Dolphins in Week 5.
-
Mike Evans WR | SF
Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Leads team in targets
Evans had seven receptions (12 targets) for 75 yards in Sunday's 19-17 win over New England.
Evans led the Buccaneers in all receiving categories on a night when Tom Brady wasn't at his best. The large-framed wideout overcame a tough matchup against J.C. Jackson and turned in his third straight solid fantasy performance (6.7 receptions, 85.3 yards and two total touchdowns over that span). Evans will look to keep things rolling against a struggling Miami squad in Week 5.
-
Keelan Cole WR | LV
Jets' Keelan Cole: Piles up 92 yards
Cole caught three of four targets for 92 yards in Sunday's 27-24 overtime win over the Titans.
Cole was more involved with fellow wide receiver Elijah Moore (concussion) sitting this one out. The veteran wideout tied tight end Ryan Griffin for third on the team in targets with four, but Cole made the most of his opportunities. He caught a perfectly placed 54-yard pass from quarterback Zach Wilson in the third quarter before adding catches of nine and 29 yards in overtime.
-
Braxton Berrios WR | NYG
Jets' Braxton Berrios: Limited involvement with Crowder in
Berrios caught his only target for no gain and added 15 yards on two rushing attempts in Sunday's 27-24 overtime win over the Titans.
As expected, Berrios' role shrank significantly with starting slot receiver Jamison Crowder back in the fold after missing the first three games of the season due to a groin injury. Berrios' impact will come primarily as a return man on special teams moving forward, as Crowder's presence should continue to limit Berrios' usage on offense.
-
Brandin Cooks WR | SF
Texans' Brandin Cooks: Limited by quarterback play
Cooks recorded five receptions on seven seven targets for 47 yards in Sunday's Week 4 loss to the Bills.
Cooks led the team in targets, receptions and yards, though his day was still unproductive due to the complete lack of firepower by the Texans' offense. He also accounted for the team's longest offensive play of the game, which was a 16-yard reception over the middle of the field late in the fourth quarter. Cooks should continue to get plenty of looks in the offense heading into a Week 5 matchup against New England, though his upside will likely remain capped in tougher matchups.
-
James Proche WR | TEN
Ravens' James Proche: Makes splash in Week 4 win
Proche caught five of six targets for 74 yards in Sunday's 23-7 win over the Broncos.
The 2020 sixth-round pick came into Sunday with only two catches in 17 career NFL games, but Proche stepped up as a reliable option for Lamar Jackson in Denver, tying Mark Andrews for the team lead in catches and finishing second to Marquise Brown in receiving yards. Proche is fighting with Devin Duvernay for the No. 3 spot on the Ravens' depth chart, and this performance may have given him the edge heading into a Week 5 tilt against the Colts.
-
Marquise Brown WR | PHI
Ravens' Marquise Brown: Hauls in spectacular TD
Brown caught four of five targets for 91 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-7 win over the Broncos.
While he didn't see a lot of volume, Brown didn't need much to make an impact. On a deep route in the second quarter, the third-year receiver split two defenders with a burst of speed and then laid out in midair to haul in Lamar Jackson's toss for a highlight-reel 49-yard score. Brown has found the end zone three times through four games, and he'll look for more big plays in Week 5 against the Colts.
-
Robbie Chosen WR | WAS
Panthers' Robby Anderson: Earns 11 targets
Anderson recorded five receptions on 11 targets for 46 yards in Sunday's Week 4 loss to the Cowboys.
Anderson had commanded only 11 targets combined between the team's first three games, and he matched that with his performance Sunday. Despite the volume, Anderson wasn't able to translate that into much production as he managed only 4.2 yards per target. Sam Darnold has shown strong rapport with DJ Moore early on, to the detriment of Anderson. Through four games this season, Anderson has surpassed 50 receiving yards only once.
-
Robert Woods WR | PIT
Rams' Robert Woods: Finds end zone in loss
Woods caught four of six targets for 48 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 37-20 loss to the Cardinals.
The veteran receiver caught his second TD of the season in garbage time to help salvage his numbers on the afternoon. He remains well behind Cooper Kupp in the pecking order for new quarterback Matthew Stafford, and even No. 3 wideout Van Jefferson was more productive Sunday on the same target volume as Woods. Until he shows more chemistry with Stafford, Woods will be relegated to being a shaky fantasy option heading into a Week 5 clash with the Seahawks.
-
Cooper Kupp WR | SEA
Rams' Cooper Kupp: Can't do much with big volume
Kupp caught five of 13 targets for 64 yards in Sunday's 37-20 loss to the Rams.
The Cards' secondary made a point of making sure the fifth-year receiver wasn't going to beat them, and as a result Van Jefferson led Los Angeles in catches and receiving yards despite seeing less than half the targets Kupp did. Despite the lackluster numbers Sunday, Kupp still has an impressive 30 catches for 431 yards and five TDs through four games, and he'll look to get back on track in Week 5 on the road against the Seahawks.
