Davion Davis WR | WAS
Davion Davis: Joins Cleveland's practice squad
The Browns signed Davis to their practice squad after he cleared waivers Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Davis was suspended for the first two games of the regular season for violating the NFL's Policy and Program on Substances of Abuse. The 24-year-old wideout led the Browns with 154 receiving yards during the preseason. He is a possible candidate for elevation while the Browns deal with injuries to Odell Beckham (knee) and Jarvis Landry (knee).

Nico Collins WR | HOU
Texans' Nico Collins: Heads to IR
Collins (shoulder) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
The roster move ensures that Collins won't be available to play for the Texans until at least their Week 6 matchup with the Colts on Oct. 17. Though the details regarding Collins' shoulder injury remain vague, prior reports suggested that he faced a 3-4 week recovery timeline. Houston added tight end Antony Auclair from the practice squad to take Collins' spot on the 53-man roster.

Amari Rodgers WR | IND
Packers' Amari Rodgers: No offensive snaps Week 2
Rodgers did not play a snap on offense in Monday's 35-17 victory over the Lions. He did return a punt for two yards.
Rodgers played a few snaps and caught a pass in the Packers' Week 1 loss, but he only handled the punt-return duties in Week 2. With at least four veteran receivers ahead of him on the depth chart, Rodgers could remain limited to special teams for the time being.

Cedrick Wilson Jr. WR | DET
Cowboys' Cedrick Wilson: Two catches Sunday
Wilson caught both his targets for 20 yards in Sunday's win over the Chargers.
He also gained five yards on his only carry. Wilson filled in as the No. 3 receiver for the Cowboys in the absence of Michael Gallup (calf) but didn't see much volume on a day when the team focused on getting its ground attack going. There could be more productive days ahead for Wilson, however, especially if Amari Cooper (ribs) is sidelined or limited Week 3 against the Eagles.

Devin Duvernay WR | ARI
Ravens' Devin Duvernay: Sees no targets Sunday
Duvernay recovered a fumble for a touchdown Sunday but did not draw a target on 34 snaps against the Chiefs.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson honed in on Marquise Brown, Mark Andrews and Sammy Watkins in Week 2 and didn't look Duvernay's way. Duvernay has two targets through two games and doesn't appear to be a major factor in the Baltimore target rotation. Baltimore heads to Detroit in Week 3.

Amari Cooper WR | LV
Cowboys' Amari Cooper: Status murky for Week 3
Cowboys president Jerry Jones expressed uncertainty about Cooper's (rib) availability for Monday's game against the Eagles, but he's "hopeful" the star wideout will be ready to play in the Week 3 matchup, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports. "I don't know today. I'm hopeful those ribs can get comfortable enough for him to play by the weekend, but I don't know," Jones said Tuesday during his radio appearance on 105.3 The Fan Dallas.
Cooper came away from this past weekend's 20-17 win over the Chargers with a bruised rib, though the injury didn't prevent him from playing all but two of the Cowboys' 60 offensive snaps. According to Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News, head coach Mike McCarthy said Cooper's injury originated from the Cowboys' season-opening loss to the Buccaneers, so the wideout's status for Week 3 may ultimately come down to a matter of pain tolerance. Even if Cooper suits up for the Cowboys' first divisional game, he'll likely have his practice reps managed to some extent Thursday through Saturday.

Diontae Johnson WR | CLE
Steelers' Diontae Johnson: Showing improvement
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that Johnson's knee injury is "looking better, not to be confused with great," Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Though Johnson appears to have averted a major injury in Sunday's loss to the Raiders, his availability for this weekend's game against the Bengals remains very much up in the air. Before assessing Johnson's status for Week 3, the Steelers will see what kind of activity the top target for Ben Roethlisberger (pectoral) is able to do in practices Wednesday through Friday. If Johnson is forced out of action against Cincinnati, James Washington would likely be the top candidate to claim the available reps alongside JuJu Smith-Schuster and Chase Claypool in three-receiver formations.
-
Khadarel Hodge WR | SF
Lions' KhaDarel Hodge: No snaps on offense
Hodge logged 14 snaps on special teams during Monday's 35-17 loss to Green Bay.
After being a healthy scratch in Week 1, Hodge was active Monday but he didn't see any snaps on offense despite the absence of Tyrell Williams (concussion).
-
Trinity Benson WR | CLE
Lions' Trinity Benson: Playing time decreases
Benson caught one of three targets for 24 yards during Monday's 35-17 loss to Green Bay.
Despite the fact Tyrell Williams (concussion) was watching from the sidelines, Benson logged fewer snaps than he did in Week 1 as Quintez Cephus stole the show among Lions wide receivers. However, Benson had a chance to salvage his day with a touchdown on the last drive only for a Packers cornerback to get his hands on the ball at the last second. If Williams remains sidelined in Week 3, Benson could get another realistic chance to produce in a home matchup against Baltimore.

Nico Collins WR | HOU
Texans' Nico Collins: Ruled out for Week 3
Texans head coach David Culley confirmed Tuesday that Collins (shoulder) won't play Thursday against the Panthers, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Houston hasn't offered up many details on the shoulder injury Collins suffered in a Week 2 loss to the Browns, but Culley said Monday that the rookie's medical concern is "pretty significant," per Kubena. Meanwhile, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that Collins is likely facing a 3-4 week recovery timeline from the injury, making the 22-year-old a candidate for injured reserve. Culley indicated that Jordan Veasy and/or Chris Moore could be elevated from the practice squad ahead of Thursday's game to give the Texans another perimeter receiver. Through his first two NFL contests, Collins hauled in two of four targets for 39 yards across 45 offensive snaps.
