  • Patriots' Kendrick Bourne: Two catches in Week 2

Bourne caught two of his three targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 25-6 win over the Jets.

Bourne, who was out there for 31 of the team's 58 snaps on offense, was once again out-snapped by fellow WRs Jakobi Meyers (52) and Nelson Agholor (50), en route to his second straight three-target contest. Down the road, there will be games where Bourne is more involved in the team's passing game, but for now he profiles as a complementary option in an offense that spreads the ball around.

  • Jakobi Meyers WR | JAC

Patriots' Jakobi Meyers: Catches four passes Sunday

Meyers caught four of his six targets for 38 yards during Sunday's 25-6 win over the Jets.

Per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, Meyers was on the field for 52 of a possible 58 snaps on offense in the contest, while Nelson Agholor logged 50 snaps, and Kendrick Bourne was out there for 31 plays. Look for Meyers' playing time to remain steady going forward, and though he operates in an offense that spreads the ball around, as the Patriots' early leader in targets (15) through two games, Meyers (who has 10 catches in that span) does possess some utility in PPR formats.

  • Nelson Agholor WR | BAL

Patriots' Nelson Agholor: Logs 50 snaps versus Jets

Agholor was on the field for 50 of a possible 58 snaps on offense in Sunday's 25-6 win over the Jets, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports. In the process, the wideout caught all three of his targets for 21 yards.

Meanwhile, Jakobi Meyers logged 52 snaps and six targets, and Kendrick Bourne was out there for 31 plays and was targeted three times. With RB James White and TEs Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry also commanding regular targets, Agholor's weekly volume figures to fluctuate in an offense that tends to spread the ball around to multiple targets. That said, it's pretty clear that Agholor is destined for steady playing time this season, health permitting.

  • Saints' Ty Montgomery: Minimal offensive involvement

Montgomery caught his only target for three yards during Sunday's 26-7 loss to the Panthers.

Montgomery was in the starting lineup next to Chris Hogan, but he again saw less than 15 offensive snaps while Deonte Harris was the only receiver to be used in the run game. With his offensive role unlikely to grow anytime soon, Montgomery remains far off the fantasy radar.

  • Seahawks' Dee Eskridge: May be available for Week 3

Coach Pete Carroll said Monday that Eskridge (concussion) has a chance to play against the Vikings on Sunday depending on how he handles the practice workload this week, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Eskridge wasn't able to practice at all leading up to Week 2 and didn't suit up against the Titans. Carroll's comments make it sound like the rookie second-round pick will make his NFL debut against the Vikings if he doesn't suffer a setback during practice this week. If healthy, he could carve out a role as the Seahawks' No. 3 wideout behind DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

  • Jaguars' Laviska Shenault: Injury not long term

Shenault (shoulder) underwent an MRI on Monday and is not dealing with a severe injury, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Shenault had a quiet day during Sunday's 23-13 loss to the Broncos even before exiting with a shoulder injury, as he ended the game with just two catches for minus-3 yards, despite drawing seven targets. It's encouraging to see that the second-year pro has avoided a serious injury, though the Jaguars still haven't offered an official update on his status for Week 3 against the Cardinals.

  • Saints' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Gets involved in passing game

Humphrey caught one of two targets for 27 yards during Sunday's 26-7 loss to the Panthers.

Humphrey wasn't in the starting lineup this time around, but he jumped from 29 percent of the offensive snaps Week 1 to 55 percent Sunday, despite the Saints needing a pass-heavy approach most of the game. While this jump in playing time resulted in a couple of targets for him after he didn't see any in the season opener, the 6-foot-4 receiver likely will continue to see his biggest offensive contributions come as a blocker.

  • Deonte Harty WR | BAL

Saints' Deonte Harris: Sees two more targets

Harris caught one of two targets for nine yards during Sunday's 26-7 loss to Carolina.

Harris again saw a couple of targets while playing on a little less than half of the offensive snaps, but this time he was unable to get loose for a long gain. The 5-foot-6 receiver likely will remain a touchdown-dependent fantasy option Week 3 when New Orleans travels to New England.

  • Steelers' Diontae Johnson: Sidesteps serious injury

Johnson (knee) did not sustain a serious injury during Sunday's 26-17 loss to the Raiders, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Johnson picked up a knee injury during the final play of Sunday's loss to the Raiders, but it's at least not a long-term issue. The third-year wideout hasn't yet been ruled out for Week 3's divisional matchup against Cincinnati, which is an encouraging sign. Johnson has drawn double-digit targets in both of Pittsburgh's first two games of the 2021 season, including nine catches for 105 yards on 12 looks versus Las Vegas.

  • Steelers' James Washington: Limited playing time in loss

Washington failed to haul in his lone target in Sunday's 26-17 loss to the Raiders.

Washington caught two passes in the season opener against Buffalo, but he was on the field for just 21 percent of the team's offensive snaps Week 2. Although he's had a limited role to begin the year, he could see an uptick in playing time if Diontae Johnson (knee) is forced to miss additional time.
