  • Browns' Odell Beckham: Could be ready for Week 3

Beckham (knee) could make his 2021 season debut versus the Bears in Week 3, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.

Beckham sat out Cleveland's first two contests of the 2021 season while continuing to work his way back from a torn left ACL, but as long as all goes well in practice leading up to next weekend's tilt against the Bears, it sounds like the veteran could be cleared for game action. With Jarvis Landry (knee) considered week-to-week due to an MCL sprain, per Kimberley A. Martin of ESPN, the Browns have a need for help in the receiving corps. Coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that a decision on Beckham's status won't be influenced by the Landry situation, per Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram, but it can't be denied that this would be a helpful time for Cleveland's top wideout to return to action.

  • Jakeem Grant WR | ATL

Dolphins' Jakeem Grant: Nursing ankle sprain

Grant is managing an ankle sprain picked up during Sunday's 35-0 blowout loss to the Bills, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

Grant avoided a serious injury, but he could still be forced to miss some time while recovering. Rookie first-round pick Jaylen Waddle could take over as Miami's primary return man as long as Grant is sidelined.

  • Nico Collins WR | HOU

Texans' Nico Collins: Injury considered significant

Coach David Culley said Monday that Collins (shoulder) is dealing with a "pretty significant" injury, Aaron Reiss of The Athletic reports.

Culley didn't rule the receiver out for Thursday night's matchup against the Panthers, however. The 22-year-old has totaled two receptions for 39 yards across the first two weeks of the season, but Andre Roberts could see increased work in Week 3 if Collins is unavailable.

  • Penny Hart WR | ATL

Seahawks' Penny Hart: Just three snaps Sunday

Hart didn't receive a target in Sunday's 33-30 loss to the Titans.

Hart logged just three offensive snaps as the Seahawks No. 4 wideout in Week 2. If Dee Eskridge (concussion) returns to action in Week 3 against the Vikings, Hart could enter healthy inactive territory.

  • Chris Conley WR | SF

Texans' Chris Conley: Gains more snaps Week 2

Conley caught one of two targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 31-21 loss to the Browns.

Conley saw his snap share increase significantly in Week 2, going from 51 to 90 percent due to injuries to Nico Collins (shoulder) and Danny Amendola (hamstring). With Anthony Miller healthy but inactive, Conley took on a larger role but had significantly fewer targets than Brandin Cooks (14). The wideout injuries weren't the only ones impacting Conley's usage; the 6-foot-3, 205-pound receiver was forced to be the third tight end in run-heavy personnel packages, per Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle. The Texans don't have much time to sort out their personnel issues, as they prepare for a Thursday night matchup against Carolina.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Another three-catch outing

Marshall caught all three of his targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 26-7 win over the Saints.

Marshall has hauled in three passes in both of his appearances as a pro, managing only modest yardage from his looks so far. On the bright side, the rookie played just over half of Carolina's offensive snaps Sunday, so he'll hope similar involvement enables him make a breakthrough in this Thursday's matchup against the Texans.

  • Browns' Anthony Schwartz: Mistake not costly

Schwartz did not catch his lone target in Sunday's 31-21 win over the Texans.

Schwartz had an impressive NFL debut in Week 1, catching three balls for 69 yards as part of the fill-in crew for the injured Odell Beckham (knee), but an early mistake appeared to take him out of the plan Week 2. The rookie wideout failed to finish running a route, which led to a Justin Reid interception and an injury to quarterback Baker Mayfield's non-throwing shoulder after the QB had to tackle Reid. Mayfield didn't miss any plays -- his dislocated shoulder was popped back in, and he was ready for the next series -- but the turnover led to a Houston touchdown, forcing the Browns the come from behind. Schwartz played a similar number of snaps as he did the previous week, but Mayfield may have lost confidence in him following the interception.

  • Browns' Donovan Peoples-Jones: Target, turnover in win

Peoples-Jones caught his lone target for 15 yards and lost a fumble in Sunday's 31-21 win over the Texans.

Two plays into the game, the Browns lost wide receiver Jarvis Landry to an MCL injury, opening the door to a bigger role for Peoples-Jones. However, the second-year wideout fumbled away his lone catch on Houston's 27-yard line and didn't get another target the rest of the way. The Browns leaned on their running backs and tight ends after that. Thus far, Peoples-Jones has two targets and two catches through two games. More was anticipated from him, particularly with Odell Beckham (knee) inactive Weeks 1 and 2, but an extended absence for Landry would provide him with more opportunities.

  • Jalen Reagor WR | MIA

Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Held to five yards in defeat

Reagor caught just two of his five targets for five yards in Sunday's 17-11 loss to the 49ers.

Two catches were enough for a share of the team lead on the day along with four other Eagles. The important number for Reagor is his five targets, however, which represented the second-highest total on the team for the second week in a row. He now has 11 through two games this season, fewer only than DeVonta Smith's 15.

  • Mecole Hardman WR | BUF

Chiefs' Mecole Hardman: Goes for 55 yards on SNF

Hardman had five receptions (eight targets) for 55 yards in Sunday's 36-35 loss to the Ravens.

Hardman saw a huge uptick in targets due to the Ravens constantly doubling Tyreek Hill for the majority of the contest. The 23-year-old Hardman could have had a much bigger fantasy impact if Patrick Mahomes didn't uncharacteristically overthrow him on a would-be deep touchdown in the first half. Hardman has the pure speed to put up some big numbers in a given week, but he remains behind both Hill and Travis Kelce in the pecking order, so there will be some inconsistency as the season progresses. The Chargers are up next for Hardman and the Chiefs next Sunday.
