Davante Adams WR | LAR
Packers' Davante Adams: Makes little impact in loss
Adams caught five of seven targets for 56 yards in Sunday's 38-3 loss to the Saints.
Aaron Rodgers had one of the worst games of his career, and as a result Adams couldn't get much going even though he led the Packers in receptions. The All-Pro receiver might have posted better numbers, but both he and Rodgers took a seat for most of the fourth quarter in the blowout. Adams should be able to rebound at home in Week 2 against a Lions squad he's lit up for 57 catches, 602 yards and seven TDs in 11 career meetings.

Cooper Kupp WR | SEA
Rams' Cooper Kupp: Receiving leader on SNF
Kupp hauled in seven receptions (10 targets) for 108 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-14 win over the Bears.
Kupp dominated the targets with new quarterback Matthew Stafford under center, finishing with four more than the next highest receiving option (Tyler Higbee). The 28-year-old had a great rapport with Jared Goff in their four seasons together, so fantasy managers have to be pleased with the seamless transition to a new signal caller. The Rams did add more depth behind Kupp and fellow starter Robert Woods this past offseason, but it appears that the former still retains the highest fantasy upside heading into a Week 2 matchup with the Colts.
-
Courtland Sutton WR | DEN
Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Quiet in opening week
Sutton recorded one reception on three targets for 14 yards in Sunday's Week 1 win over the Giants.
Sutton was on the field for a regular-season contest for the first time since Week 2 of the 2020 season. Perhaps understandably, he wasn't as involved as could typically be projected and managed his only reception partway through the second quarter. The Broncos should be in a positive game script for much of their Week 2 matchup against Jacksonville, so volume may not be on Sutton's side again even in the absence of Jerry Jeudy (ankle).

Tyreek Hill WR | MIA
Chiefs' Tyreek Hill: Massive numbers in Week 1 win
Hill caught 11 of 15 targets for 197 yards and a touchdown and gained four yards on his only carry in Sunday's 33-29 win over the Browns.
Kansas City's offense managed only 10 points in the first half, but the unit erupted after intermission, with Hill's 75-yard TD early in the fourth quarter being the biggest play of the comeback. Patrick Mahomes leaned heavily on his two favorite options -- Hill and Travis Kelce -- all afternoon, with no other K.C. player getting more than three targets. That narrow tree bodes very well for Hill's production in Week 2, even on the road against the Ravens.
-
Anthony Schwartz WR | MIA
Browns' Anthony Schwartz: Impresses in NFL debut
Schwartz caught three of five targets for 69 yards and gained 17 rushing yards on his only carry in Sunday's 33-29 loss to Kansas City.
The 2021 third-round pick missed significant time this summer and into the preseason due to a hamstring strain, but the lost time didn't seem to hamper Schwartz much in his NFL debut, and he was one of the biggest beneficiaries of the absence of Odell Beckham (knee). Despite the chemistry he showed with Baker Mayfield, Schwartz's role could shrink in Week 2 against the Texans if Beckham is ready to return to action.
-
Rondale Moore WR | MIN
Cardinals' Rondale Moore: Efficient with four catches
Moore notched four catches (on five targets) for 68 yards during Sunday's 38-13 win at Tennessee. He also returned one kickoff for 22 yards and two punts for 24 yards.
Moore's multifaceted skill set showed up early and often in his debut, with Kyler Murray targeting him short, intermediate and deep. His longest reception went for 29 yards, with the other three going for 13 yards per pop. On top of that, Moore had a 25-yard kick return wiped out by a penalty. He has more established receivers in front of him on the depth chart -- DeAndre Hopkins, A.J. Green and Christian Kirk -- but Moore's clear rapport with Murray was evident from the start Sunday.
-
James Washington WR | ATL
Steelers' James Washington: Logs two receptions in Week 1
Washington brought in both of his targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 23-16 win over Buffalo.
Washington was limited in Friday's practice due to a finger injury, but he was still able to play a reserve role in Sunday's season opener. However, the 25-year-old's production unsurprisingly lagged behind Diontae Johnson, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Chase Claypool in the comeback victory.
-
D'Wayne Eskridge WR | MIA
Seahawks' Dee Eskridge: Diagnosed with concussion
Eskridge suffered a concussion during Sunday's 28-16 win over the Colts, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Prior to his departure, Eskridge rushed twice for 22 yards and caught his lone target for six yards. The rookie second-round pick will need to clear the league's concussion protocol in order to play against the Titans next Sunday. With Penny Hart also dealing with a concussion, DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Freddie Swain are the only healthy wideouts on Seattle's active roster.
-
Marquez Callaway WR | LV
Saints' Marquez Callaway: Two targets in starting role
Callaway caught one of two passes for 14 yards during Sunday's 38-3 win over the Packers.
After a summer full of hype, Callaway didn't seem to have a large role in the game plan despite the absences of both Michael Thomas (ankle) and Tre'Quan Smith (hamstring). Instead, Jameis Winston spread the ball around to eight different receivers with Adam Trautman (six targets) and Alvin Kamara (four) getting the most attention. However, it should be noted that Winston needed to throw only 20 passes in this one, and Callaway would be an obvious candidate to see more looks when the Saints do need to air it out more often. The second-year receiver will look to rebound in Week 2 against Carolina.
-
DeVante Parker WR | PHI
Dolphins' DeVante Parker: Provides big plays
Parker recorded four receptions on seven targets for 81 yards in Sunday's Week 1 victory over New England.
Parker took advantage of the absence of Will Fuller (suspension) to lead the team in both targets and yards. He served as a big-play threat throughout the contest, racking up gains of 30, 23, 15 and 13 yards. Though Parker missed significant portions of training camp, he managed to top 80 receiving yards -- a feat he accomplished only three times in 2020. Fuller's return in Week 2 against the Bills will crowd Miami's wide receiver corps, but Parker should keep a significant role in the offense.
