  • Adam Humphries WR | HOU

Titans' Adam Humphries: Potential cap casualty

Humphries (concussion) could be released this offseason, according to Gentry Estes of The Tennessean.

Signed to a four-year, $36 million contract during the 2019 offseason, Humphries has averaged only 3.2 catches for 31.7 receiving yards in 19 regular-season games with the Titans. He made just one appearance after Week 8 in 2020, struggling with concussion symptoms throughout much of the season. The Titans will free up approximately $4.75 million in cap space if they trade or release the 27-year-old slot receiver this winter/spring.

  • Mecole Hardman WR | BUF

Chiefs' Mecole Hardman: Finds paydirt in AFC title game

Hardman hauled in two of three targets for four yards and a touchdown and carried once for 50 yards Sunday in the Chiefs' 38-24 win over the Bills in the AFC Championship Game.

Hardman put the Chiefs in a early hole after mishandling a punt in the first quarter, with the Bills recovering the fumble and proceeding to score a touchdown to take a 10-0 lead. The second-year wideout didn't take long to make amends, however, as he responded with a short touchdown reception of his own on the Chiefs' ensuing possession. He then provided one of the game's biggest plays on the Chiefs' next drive, showcasing his high-end speed on an end-around carry to set up another touchdown. Hardman surprisingly finished the day with a modest 35 percent offensive snap share -- well behind Byron Pringle (80 percent) and Demarcus Robinson (65 percent) -- but he was clearly the most productive of the Chiefs' depth wideouts. Hardman, Pringle and Robinson could all see some sort of role reduction in the Feb. 7 Super Bowl matchup with the Buccaneers, as Sammy Watkins (calf) is expected to be back for that contest after sitting out Week 17 as well as both of the Chiefs' first two playoff contests.

  • Byron Pringle WR | WAS

Chiefs' Byron Pringle: Draws five targets in AFC title game

Pringle corralled three of five targets for 22 yards Sunday in the Chiefs' 38-24 win over the Bills in the AFC Championship Game.

Pringle played a surprising 80 percent of the offensive snaps in the contest, his highest rate since Week 17 against the Chargers, when the Chiefs were resting several of their key offensive playmakers. Though Pringle was effective enough as a depth option at receiver, he'll likely see a major dip in his snap share in the Feb. 7 Super Bowl matchup with the Buccaneers, as the Chiefs are expected to return Sammy Watkins (calf) for that contest.

  • Mike Evans WR | SF

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Gets limited tag

Evans (knee) was listed as a limited participant Wednesday's on the Buccaneers' estimated practice report.

Evans has been managing a knee injury since Week 17, but he's still suited up for all three of the Buccaneers' playoff games. During that stretch, he has hauled in 10 of 21 targets for 173 yards and two touchdowns. Elsewhere in the Tampa Bay receiving corps, Antonio Brown wouldn't have practiced Wednesday if the team held a session, and he's expected to remain a spectator for the rest of this week. Tampa Bay will have a full two weeks to get key players healthy for the Feb. 7 Super Bowl LV matchup with the Chiefs, and if Brown is sidelined, Evans could be in line for a few more looks.

  • River Cracraft WR | WAS

49ers' River Cracraft: Sees limited action in 2020

Cracraft finished the 2020 season with six receptions for 41 yards on nine targets across nine appearances with the 49ers.

Cracraft began the season on San Francisco's practice squad, but he earned a callup to the roster when the 49ers were in need of more depth at receiver. Even after his promotion, the Washington State product still struggled to make an impact on offense, instead seeing most of his snaps on special teams. Cracraft will be an exclusive rights free agent this offseason, but look for San Francisco to retain him.

  • Juwann Winfree WR | HOU

Packers' Juwann Winfree: Inks futures deal with Green Bay

Winfree signed a reserve/future contract with the Packers on Tuesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

The 24-year-old was elevated to the active roster for two games this season but spent most of the season on the practice squad. Winfree is set to go through Green Bay's offseason program.

  • Keelan Doss WR | LV

Raiders' Keelan Doss: Staying in Vegas

Doss signed a reserve/future contract with the Raiders on Tuesday.

Doss spent the majority of the season on the Raiders' practice squad, but only was on the active roster for one contest -- playing three offensive snaps in the game.

  • Browns' Odell Beckham: On track with ACL recovery

Browns GM Andrew Berry said Beckham's recovery from knee surgery is going very well, Andrew Gribble of the Browns' official site reports.

Beckham tore the ACL in his left knee Oct. 25 and underwent surgery Nov. 10. He'll presumably be held out of practices throughout the offseason program, likely hoping to return at some point during training camp. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network suggested in November that Beckham could be traded, but recent comments from both Berry and the 28-year-old wideout suggest OBJ is part of the Browns' plan for 2021, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

  • Marcus Kemp WR | WAS

Marcus Kemp: Sent to practice squad

Kemp reverted to Kansas City's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Kemp was brought up to the Chiefs' active roster for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against Buffalo. He was on the field for four offensive snaps and 17 special teams snaps, recovering an onside kick in the fourth quarter that helped seal the victory.

  • Cole Beasley WR | NYG

Bills' Cole Beasley: Plays through leg fracture

Beasley played through a fractured fibula during the playoffs, Michael Giardi of NFL Network reports.

The Bills listed Beasley with a knee injury from Week 17 through the AFC Championship Game, never revealing any details. The slot receiver missed only one game (the regular-season finale) but said the injury bothered him during the first two rounds of the playoffs. Beasley felt better during the AFCCG loss to Kansas City, and he expects to have a normal offseason after catching seven passes in his final appearance of the campaign. The 31-year-old should be safe in Buffalo for the third season of his four-year, $29 million contract, considering he finished 2020 with career highs for catches (82), receiving yards (967), targets (107), yards per catch (11.8), yards per target (9.0) and catch rate (76.6 percent).
