  • Jaguars' Parker Washington: No targets Week 1

Washington didn't receive a target and returned one punt for seven yards during Sunday's 26-10 win against the Panthers.

The 2023 sixth-round pick played 17 of 66 offensive snaps but wasn't involved in the passing game in the season opener. Washington took a step forward in 2024 with 32 catches for 390 yards and three touchdowns, but he isn't likely to deliver much production this year while working as Jacksonville's No. 4 wideout behind Brian Thomas, Travis Hunter and Dyami Brown.

  • Dyami Brown WR | JAC

Jaguars' Dyami Brown: Solid showing in Jags debut

Brown caught three of four targets for 52 yards and rushed twice for six yards during Sunday's 26-10 win over the Panthers.

The 25-year-old worked as Jacksonville's No. 3 wideout behind Travis Hunter and Brian Thomas and tied for third on the team in targets and receptions while finishing second in receiving yards. Brown joined the Jaguars on a one-year, $10 million deal in March after breaking out in the 2024 playoffs for the Commanders, and he should have a decent chance at a career year in 2025 after posting career highs with 30 receptions and 308 yards last season. That doesn't necessarily mean he'll have much fantasy relevance while operating as Jacksonville's No. 3 wide receiver, however.

  • Bears' Olamide Zaccheaus: Solid in Chicago debut

Zaccheaus caught four of seven targets for 42 yards in Monday's 27-24 loss to the Vikings.

Zaccheaus finished second on the team in both receiving yards and targets, trailing DJ Moore and Rome Odunze, respectively. Rookie second-round pick Luther Burden could eventually take on a larger role, but at least early in the season, Zaccheaus has the clear edge for the No. 3 wide receiver role in Chicago, as Burden had just one catch for minus-3 yards Monday. Zaccheaus will look to build on this promising Bears debut Week 2 against the Lions.

  • Rome Odunze WR | CHI

Bears' Rome Odunze: Scores in Week 1 loss

Odunze caught six of nine targets for 37 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 27-24 loss to the Vikings.

Odunze kept hope alive for the Bears with a one-yard touchdown catch just before the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter. His nine targets paced the team, though DJ Moore (68) and Olamide Zaccheaus (42) both had more receiving yards Monday. Odunze, a 2024 first-round pick, is set up for a more consistent role in his second NFL season after he had three-plus catches in only nine of 17 games as a rookie. Up next for the Bears is a Week 2 trip to Detroit.

  • DJ Moore WR | CHI

Bears' DJ Moore: Notches 68 receiving yards in loss

Moore caught three of five targets for 68 yards, rushed three times for eight yards and lost a fumble in Monday's 27-24 loss to the Vikings.

Moore stayed down after taking a big hit in the fourth quarter but eventually stayed in the game after talking to trainers, as evidenced by his fumble, which came as the Bears were attempting laterals on the game's final play. He occasionally lined up in the backfield in addition to his customary role at wide receiver, so he may handle a few rushing attempts on a weekly basis moving forward. Moore led the Bears in receiving yards each of the past two seasons, so it's no surprise that he topped that category for the team in Monday's season opener. The 28-year-old wide receiver should remain heavily involved Week 2 against the Lions.

  • Vikings' Justin Jefferson: Records TD grab in win

Jefferson secured four of seven targets for 44 yards and a touchdown and rushed once for four yards in the Vikings' 27-24 win over the Bears on Monday night.

Like the rest of the Vikings offense, Jefferson had a mostly forgettable first three quarters. However, the star wideout eventually finished with team-high reception and target totals, and he recorded his first touchdown from J.J. McCarthy on a 13-yard grab early in the fourth quarter. Jefferson should naturally serve as McCarthy's top target as the season unfolds, and it was clear the second-year signal-caller was still getting acclimated to the NFL game in a tough road environment Monday night after a knee injury wiped out his entire 2024 rookie campaign. Jefferson will be in what should be more favorable conditions for strong production when the Vikings get a visit from the Falcons for a Week 2 home matchup on Sunday night.

  • Chimere Dike WR | TEN

Titans' Chimere Dike: Primary impact on special teams

Dike did not record a catch on his lone target in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Broncos. He added one rush for nine yards.

Dike got his lone touch on a play from scrimmage on an end around early in the second quarter. However, he made his presence felt as a returner, picking up 144 yards on four kickoff returns and 12 yards on one punt return. Dike made a significant impact just before halftime, when he returned a kick 71 yards to allow the Titans to convert a field goal with six seconds remaining in the second quarter.

  • Van Jefferson WR | TEN

Titans' Van Jefferson: Limited to seven snaps

Jefferson was not targeted in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Broncos.

Jefferson's usage in the preseason suggested he would have a role in the Titans' offense to begin the season. Instead, he was on the field for only seven offensive snaps, fifth most among the team's wide-receiver corps. Jefferson looks unlikely to contribute much offensively, barring injury.

  • Titans' Tyler Lockett: Uninvolved in Week 1

Lockett didn't record a reception (on one target) in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Broncos.

Lockett was on the field for 33 offensive snaps (58 percent), less than rookie Elic Ayomanor. Lockett was also an afterthought in the offense, with his only target coming on the fourth play of the game. The Titans' passing offense should have more success in future weeks, but Lockett doesn't look to be a priority target.

  • Russell Gage WR | SF

49ers' Russell Gage: Placed back on practice squad

Gage reverted to San Francisco's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

This was almost certainly just a temporary move, as Gage is fully expected to be active for Sunday's Week 2 tilt in New Orleans. The veteran wideout finished third among the 49ers' wideouts in offensive snaps with 28 on Sunday versus Seattle, behind only Ricky Pearsall (64) and Jauan Jennings (50). Jennings hurt his shoulder in the victory and is awaiting results of an MRI, which should help determine his chances of playing against the Saints. If Jennings can't suit up Sunday, Gage figures to take on a more prominent role, especially with star tight end George Kittle slated to miss multiple weeks due to a hamstring injury. Gage didn't see any official targets in Week 1, but he had a pass thrown his way that went incomplete and was wiped out by a roughing-the-passer penalty. Aside from Pearsall and Gage, San Francisco's other healthy options at wide receiver are Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore and Kendrick Bourne, the latter of whom was signed on Monday and may need some time to acclimate to the team.
