Jaylen Waddle WR | DEN
Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Will test shoulder pre-game
Waddle (shoulder) will determine his availability for Thursday's divisional matchup against the Bills via a pre-game workout, though there is optimism he will play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Waddle is officially listed as questionable for Thursday's road matchup at Buffalo after having popped up as a limited participant at Tuesday's practice. After posting a dud in the regular-season opener, Miami's offense bounced back nicely versus the Patriots in Week 2, a contest that saw Waddle haul in five of six targets for 68 yards and a score. Managing similar production on a short week versus a Bills defense that held the Jets to a combined 154 yards on offense will be a difficult task, so even if cleared to play Thursday night, Waddle has to be considered a volatile fantasy option. His status will be made official no later than 90 minutes prior to Thursday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.

Kameron Johnson WR | TB
Buccaneers' Kameron Johnson: Three returns in Week 2 win
Johnson ran back two kickoffs for 42 yards and returned one punt for six yards during the Buccaneers' 20-19 win over the Texans on Monday night.
Johnson did get in on seven snaps from scrimmage but wasn't targeted. Johnson notably added kickoff-return duty in Week 2 after exclusively fielding punts in Week 1, while No. 3 running back Sean Tucker, who'd handled all three kickoffs in the Week 1 win over the Falcons, was in on just one Monday night.

Jauan Jennings WR | MIN
49ers' Jauan Jennings: No practice Wednesday
Jennings (ankle/shoulder) officially didn't practice Wednesday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
During Week 2 prep, Jennings missed the first two practices before logging a limited session Friday as he tended to a shoulder injury, but it was enough for him to suit up this past Sunday at New Orleans and serve as the 49ers' top wide receiver for fill-in quarterback Mac Jones. On his 10 targets, Jennings hauled in five receptions for 89 yards and one touchdown. Coach Kyle Shanahan termed Jennings day-to-day Monday due to an ankle injury, and with another DNP under his belt to begin this week, it remains to be seen if he'll follow a similar practice regimen to last week and how he'll be listed ahead of Sunday's home opener against the Cardinals.

Cody White WR | SEA
Seahawks' Cody White: Signed to active roster
The Seahawks signed White off the practice squad Wednesday.
With Tory Horton dealing with a groin issue that limited him in Wednesday's practice, White finds a spot on the 53-man roster with Seattle. The 26-year-old White has appeared in 21 career regular-season games and has secured eight of 10 targets for 79 scoreless yards. He'll provide wideout depth for the Seahawks.

Trey Palmer WR | NO
Saints' Trey Palmer: Limited by hamstring
Palmer (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
Palmer was part of the Bucs' final cuts at the end of August and was claimed off waivers by New Orleans. He's been inactive for each of the first two games despite not being on the injury report.
-
Tory Horton WR | SEA
Seahawks' Tory Horton: Dealing with groin issue
Horton was limited at practice Wednesday due to a groin injury, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
After going without a target in his pro debut Week 1 against the 49ers, Horton got in the act this past Sunday at Pittsburgh, recording a 21-yard touchdown among his two catches and five targets. As Seattle begins Week 3 prep, though, he's operating with a cap on his practice reps, giving him two more chances to get back to all activity before the end of the week.

Casey Washington WR | ATL
Falcons' Casey Washington: Gets in limited practice
Washington (concussion) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
Washington missed last Sunday night's win over the Vikings with the concussion, but his limited start to the practice week suggests he has a chance to play Week 3 versus Carolina. With Drake London, Darnell Mooney and Ray-Ray McCloud healthy, Washington is unlikely to have much of a role on offense against the Panthers if he's cleared to play.

Ladd McConkey WR | LAC
Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Misses Wednesday's practice
McConkey (biceps) didn't practice Wednesday.
McConkey was on the field for 74 percent of the Chargers' snaps on offense in the team's 20-9 win over the Raiders on Monday en route to catching all five of his targets for 48 yards. However, with a DNP in the books Wednesday, the wideout's status needs to be monitored ahead of Sunday's game against the Broncos. Through two games, he's tied with fellow WR Quentin Johnston for second on the team with 14 targets, which is three shy of the 17 targets that Keenan Allen has logged thus far.

Brandon Aiyuk WR | SF
49ers' Brandon Aiyuk: Spotted running
Aiyuk (knee) did some running while his teammates were practicing Wednesday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Aiyuk remains on the PUP list, out through at least Week 4 and unable to practice with his teammates. Neither player nor team has said much about the situation of late, but coach Kyle Shanahan did suggest in mid-August that Week 6 (against Tampa Bay) was a reasonable target for Aiyuk's 2025 debut.

Brian Thomas Jr. WR | JAC
Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Logs full practice
Thomas (wrist) practiced fully Wednesday.
Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union previously reported that coach Liam Coen acknowledged Monday that Thomas approached Week 2 action with a wrist injury, but the wideout still managed to record a 94 percent snap share in Sunday's 31-27 loss to the Bengals. With a full practice under his belt Wednesday, Thomas is slated to face the Texans this weekend and in the process maintain his key role in the Jaguars passing attack. Through two games to date, Thomas has been targeted 19 times (including 12 times versus Cincinnati) but has caught just five passes for 60 yards in that span. While the 2024 first-rounder's slow start is mildly concerning, assuming he's not hampered by his wrist issue, a spike in production and efficiency seems inevitable for the talented 22-year-old, who compiled a 87/1,282/10 receiving line (on 133 targets) in 17 regular-season games last year.
