  • Adam Thielen WR | PIT

Vikings' Adam Thielen: Revises deal to clear cap space

Thielen and the Vikings have agreed to a revised contract that reduces his salary by $2 million and removes $4 million in incentives, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Per Pelissero, Thielen volunteered to take less money in order to help the Vikings clear cap space and improve their chances of competing. It's another indication that Thielen is thrilled to be back in Minnesota after two campaigns with Carolina. The Panthers dealt Thielen to the Vikings on Thursday, and the veteran wideout's presence should help Minnesota absorb the early-season suspension of Jordan Addison, who won't be available until Week 4.

  • Terrace Marshall: Let go from practice squad

The Eagles cut Marshall from the practice squad Friday.

Marshall was slated to stick around in Philadelphia after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but the 2021 second-round pick has been removed from the team's practice squad to make room for running back Audric Estime. Marshall will explore his next options and look to catch on with a team's practice squad as a depth wide receiver.

  • Giants' Gunner Olszewski: Back with Giants

The Giants signed Olszewski to a contract Friday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.

Olszewski is back with Big Blue after initially being released by the Giants on Wednesday. He hasn't caught a pass in a regular-season game since 2022 with the Steelers, but he's expected to serve as the primary punt returner for the Giants in the upcoming season.

  • Dorian Singer WR | JAC

Dorian Singer: Cut from Jags' practice squad

The Jaguars cut Singer from the practice squad Friday.

Singer's removal makes room on the Jags' practice squad roster for Austin Trammell, and the former will look to catch on with a team in need of depth at wideout. Singer finished the preseason with seven catches (on eight targets) for 59 yards across three preseason games.

  • Jalen Royals WR | KC

Chiefs' Jalen Royals: Looking unlikely for Week 1

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Friday that Royals (knee) is not expected to suit up against the Chargers in Week 1, Jesse Newell of The Athletic reports.

Royals missed Kansas City's preseason finale due to knee tendinitis and looks set to also sit out the team's regular-season opener, but as the Chiefs didn't place him on IR while cutting down to a 53-man roster, it seems the rookie fourth-round pick is expected to miss less than four games before returning to action. With Rashee Rice (suspension) out the first six weeks of the season, Royals will have an opportunity to push for snaps behind Xavier Worthy, Hollywood Brown (ankle) and JuJu Smith-Schuster once healthy.

  • Hal Presley WR | TEN

Hal Presley: Cut by Kansas City

The Chiefs cut Presley from their practice squad Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Presley was waived by Kansas City on Monday and then signed back with the Chiefs' practice squad Wednesday. He's back out of a job. Presley posted a 2-20-0 receiving line on four targets during the preseason.

  • Tyler Kahmann WR | IND

Tyler Kahmann: Cut from Indy's practice squad

The Colts cut Kahmann from the practice squad Thursday.

Kahmann was initially set to start the regular season on the Colts' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster, but the undrafted rookie will now look to catch on with a team in need of depth at wide receiver. Kahmann logged two catches (on four targets) for eight yards across three preseason games with the Colts.

  • Erik Ezukanma WR | JAC

Erik Ezukanma: Gets chance with Jacksonville

The Jaguars signed Ezukanma to their practice squad Thursday.

Ezukanma was with Miami throughout training camp before being waived Tuesday. He'll now get an opportunity with the Jaguars, who have just five healthy wideouts on their 53-man roster. Ezukanma was a fourth-round selection by the Dolphins in the 2022 NFL Draft but caught just one pass on four targets over five career regular-season games with the club.

  • Laquon Treadwell: Lands on Colts' practice squad

Indianapolis signed Treadwell to a practice-squad deal Thursday.

Treadwell missed out on making the Colts' 53-man roster, but he'll hope for opportunities to play this season while on the team's practice squad. The veteran wideout also spent most of last year on Indianapolis' practice squad but got into two regular season-games with the club. Treadwell's best NFL campaign came in 2021, when he caught 33 passes for 434 yards and a touchdown over 12 regular-season games with Jacksonville.

  • Dennis Houston: Going to Bucs' practice squad

Tampa Bay signed Houston to its practice squad Thursday, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Houston's training camp was hampered by injuries, so he'll start the season on the practice squad instead of Tampa Bay's 53-man active roster. His last regular-season action came in 2022, when he caught two of six targets for 16 yards over two games with the Cowboys.
