Brown (knee) is participating in Friday's practice, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports.

Brown was limited in practice Wednesday then sat out Thursday's session, so it's encouraging to see him back on the field in some capacity Friday. Meanwhile, DeVonta Smith is not practicing Friday due to back tightness, but he's expected to be available for Sunday's wild-card round matchup against the Packers, while Jalen Hurts has cleared the concussion protocol. Friday's official injury report will reveal whether Brown's status is truly uncertain for Sunday's game, or whether his missed practices have been more related to maintenance.

Smith missed Friday's practice due to back tightness but is still expected to play Sunday against Green Bay, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.

It remains to be seen if the end-of-week problem is serious enough to warrant a game designation on Philadelphia's final injury report Friday afternoon. Smith wasn't listed Wednesday or Thursday, and this if the first report of a back injury all season.

The Steelers waived Miller on Thursday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.

Miller signed a one-year deal with the Steelers in March of 2024 after playing for the Falcons in 2023. He finished the regular season with five catches (on nine targets) for 69 yards across 13 games. The Steelers could sign Miller to the practice squad over the next two days and elevate him to the active roster for Saturday's AFC wild-card game against the Ravens.

Brown (knee/rest) didn't take part in practice Thursday.

After not being seen at the open part of Thursday's session, Brown officially went down as a non-participant, one day removed from logging a limited practice due to knee and rest. The absence may have been related to maintenance of the knee issue that has lingered since Week 16 prep, and there's an expectation from the Eagles that he'll be available for Sunday's wild-card game versus the Packers, according to Tim McManus of ESPN.com. Friday's injury report will unveil whether or not Brown enters the weekend with a designation ahead of Philadelphia's playoff opener.

Harty (knee/personal), who remains on IR, practiced in full Thursday and is listed as questionable for Saturday's wild-card round matchup against the Steelers.

Harty has put forth a FP-DNP-FP practice pattern together since having his 21-day practice window opened Tuesday, and he's now listed as dealing with a personal issue in addition to his knee injury. It looks like the depth wideout and return specialist could be healthy enough to contribute Saturday versus Pittsburgh, but he'll first need to be activated from IR in order to be eligible to play in the AFC wild-card clash.

Fehoko (elbow), who still remains on injured reserve, practiced in full Thursday and is officially listed as questionable for Saturday's road wild-card round matchup against the Texans.

Fehoko had his 21-day practice window opened Tuesday, and he's since logged a LP-FP-FP activity pattern. He'll need to be activated from IR in order to be eligible to play Saturday, but it looks like the depth wideout could be able to contribute during Los Angeles' road wild-card clash at Houston.

Wilson (hamstring) is ruled out for Saturday's road wild-card round matchup against the Ravens, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Wilson won't be activated from IR in time to suit up Saturday, though he has consistently practiced in full since having his 21-day window opened. For another chance at returning for postseason action, Wilson needs the Steelers to emerge victorious over Baltimore and advance to the divisional round.

Metchie (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Saturday's wild-card round game against the Chargers after practicing fully Thursday.

Metchie, who was listed as a non-participant Tuesday, was limited Wednesday and closed out the Texans' practice week with an uncapped session Thursday, which bodes well for his chances of being available for Saturday's 4:30 p.m. ET kickoff. If, however, Metchie ends up limited or out versus Los Angeles, added snaps behind top wideout Nico Collins would be available for some combination of Robert Woods, Diontae Johnson and Xavier Hutchinson.

Shepard (foot/knee) was a limited practice participant Thursday.

Shepard maintained his activity level from Wednesday's walkthrough, giving him one more opportunity to return to full participant this week. Friday's injury report will reveal whether or not he heads into the weekend with a designation for Sunday night's wild-card game versus the Commanders.

Palmer (foot) has been ruled out for Saturday's wild-card round game against the Texans.

Palmer, who was unable to practice this week, thus will target a potential return to action in the divisional round of the playoffs, should the Chargers advance. In Palmer's absence, wideouts DJ Chark and Derius Davis are candidates to see added snaps alongside Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston (thigh/illness), provided Johnston is available after being deemed questionable for Saturday's contest.
