Curtis Samuel WR | BUF
Bills' Curtis Samuel: Inactive Sunday
Samuel (ribs) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets.
Samuel, who was inactive for the Bills' Week 16 win over the Patriots, will miss his second straight game, which sets the stage for Khalil Shakir, Amari Cooper, Keon Coleman, Mack Hollins and Tyrell Shavers to handle the team's wideout duties versus New York. Samuel's next chance to see game action will arrive next weekend in Buffalo's regular-season finale against New England.

Christian Watson WR | GB
Packers' Christian Watson: Trending toward sitting Sunday
Watson (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings but is considered unlikely to play, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Watson didn't practice in any fashion this week while managing a bruised left knee, but head coach Matt LaFleur said Friday that the lack of on-field work wouldn't necessarily stop the wideout from suiting up Sunday, per Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site. Ultimately, Watson doesn't seem to have made enough progress in his recovery from the injury to play against the Vikings, and he's expected to be formally ruled out when Green Bay releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. With Watson expected to sit out, all of Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks should be in store for slight boosts in their snap and target projections.

Xavier Legette WR | CAR
Panthers' Xavier Legette: Looking likely to return in Week 17
Legette (hip/wrist), who is listed questionable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Legette missed his first game of the season in last Sunday's win over Arizona, but he appears to be trending in the right direction toward a return after logging limited practice sessions both Thursday and Friday. The rookie wideout has been inconsistent throughout the campaign, but his presence would boost a Panthers wideout corps that lacks depth. If Legette does play Sunday, Jalen Coker would likely slide back to the No. 3 wideout role, while David Moore could be on the field less often after logging 89 percent of Carolina's offensive snaps in Week 16.

Jaylen Waddle WR | DEN
Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Trending toward missing Week 17
Waddle, who is questionable for Sunday's contest against Cleveland due to a knee injury, isn't likely to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Per Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site, the team had some optimism about Waddle being able to suit up against the Browns after he was a limited participant in practices Thursday and Friday, but Rapoport's report suggests the wideout is expected to miss a second straight contest. If Waddle does sit out, it will be a big blow to a Miami passing attack that will also likely be without starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who is doubtful due to a hip injury. Meanwhile, Rapoport notes that No. 1 receiver Tyreek Hill is expected to play despite a lingering wrist injury, and Hill could be peppered with plenty of targets while joined by wideout Malik Washington and tight end Jonnu Smith as the top options for presumed fill-in quarterback Tyler Huntley.

Tyreek Hill WR | MIA
Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Likely to play in Week 17
Hill (wrist), who is questionable for Sunday's matchup against Cleveland, is expected to suit up, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The wrist issue is a lingering one for Hill, but he's yet to miss a game because of it, and he looks set to take the field once again Sunday. However, his outlook is hazy in part due to the expected absence of Tua Tagovailoa, who is officially doubtful to play due to a hip issue. Rapoport notes that No. 2 wideout Jaylen Waddle (knee) isn't likely to suit up either, which could lead to the Browns focusing more of their attention on Hill. If things go the way they seem to be trending, the Dolphins passing attack Sunday will consist of Tyler Huntley at quarterback, with Hill and Malik Washington leading the team's wideout corps and tight end Jonnu Smith playing a significant role as well.

Cooper Kupp WR | SEA
Rams' Cooper Kupp: Disappears again
Kupp recorded one reception on three targets for 29 yards in Saturday's 13-9 win over the Cardinals.
Kupp's one reception was pivotal to the Rams' win, as it helped set up their only touchdown of the game. However, the performance continued his recent slide in production, as he has now been held below 30 receiving yards in four of his last five games. Kupp hasn't been on the injury report since returning from an ankle injury in Week 8, making his recent disappearance from the offense particularly baffling.

Malik Nabers WR | NYG
Giants' Malik Nabers: Appears set to suit up Sunday
Nabers (toe), who is questionable for Sunday's game against Indianapolis, is likely to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
A toe issue kept Nabers from practicing Wednesday and Thursday before he advanced to limited participation Friday, and the injury doesn't look as though it will prevent him from suiting up against the Colts. The rookie wideout will be chasing a few milestones if he does indeed play, as he's three catches away from 100 and 31 receiving yards way from 1,000 for the season. Nabers is also chasing Puka Nacua's NFL rookie record of 105 receptions, though Raiders first-year tight end Brock Bowers is even closer to the mark with 101 catches on the campaign.

Michael Wilson WR | ARI
Cardinals' Michael Wilson: Four-catch effort in loss
Wilson brought in four of six targets for 22 yards in the Cardinals' 13-9 loss to the Rams on Saturday night.
Wilson finished third in receptions and targets on the night behind Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison, but he was way behind his teammates' respective 123- and 96-yard tallies. It was another lackluster showing for Wilson, who hasn't eclipsed 57 receiving yards since Week 5 and has four or fewer receptions in seven of the last eight games. The second-year wideout will close out the season at home against the 49ers in Week 18.

Puka Nacua WR | LAR
Rams' Puka Nacua: Bright spot of Rams' offense
Nacua recorded 10 receptions on 14 targets for 129 yards in Saturday's 13-9 win over the Cardinals.
It was a lackluster performance for the Rams' offense, as Nacua was the team's only receiver to top 30 yards and was on the receiving end of 10 of Matthew Stafford's 17 completions. Though he didn't find the end zone, Nacua did record six receptions of at least 10 yards to top the century mark for the fifth time in 10 contests since returning from a knee injury. While his results may be a bit inconsistent due to Stafford's recent struggles, Nacua has established himself as the top receiving threat in the offense, ahead of Cooper Kupp.

Davante Adams WR | LAR
Jets' Davante Adams: Likely to suit up Sunday
Adams, who is questionable for Sunday's game against Buffalo due to a hip injury, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reported Friday that the Jets were optimistic about Adams being able to play Sunday, and the star wideout still looks to be trending toward suiting up against the Bills. Adams practiced just once this week, logging a limited session Friday, but there's no indication he'll have any restrictions if he suits up as expected Sunday. Schefter notes that Adams "would like to" be on the receiving end of Aaron Rodgers' 500th touchdown pass -- the veteran quarterback would reach that milestone with his next scoring toss.
