  • Jalen Tolbert WR | MIA

Cowboys' Jalen Tolbert: Finds end zone in Week 15 win

Tolbert caught one of two targets for an 11-yard touchdown in Sunday's win over the Panthers.

The third-year wideout made his only grab of the day count, getting both feet down at the back of the end zone early in the third quarter for his fifth TD of the season. Tolbert has seen little volume since Cooper Rush took over as the Cowboys' QB, catching two passes or fewer in five straight games and posting a 7-95-2 line on 18 targets over that stretch. However, Tolbert might be able to hit pay dirt again Week 16 against the Buccaneers' vulnerable secondary.

  • Chargers' Quentin Johnston: Dealing with ankle injury

Johnston (ankle) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report.

The ankle injury is new for Johnston, so his practice status bears monitoring over the next couple of days ahead of Thursday night's game against the Broncos. Johnston's 73 percent snap share against the Bucs on Sunday was right in line with his norm, so it's unclear when he was injured. He finished with a 5-45-1 line on a season-high 10 targets. If Johnston were to miss Week 16, Joshua Palmer, Jalen Reagor and DJ Chark would be in line to handle outside wide receiver snaps, with rookie Ladd McConkey spending most of his time in the slot.

  • Brandin Cooks WR | BUF

Cowboys' Brandin Cooks: Three grabs against Carolina

Cooks caught three of five targets for 34 yards in Sunday's win over the Panthers.

CeeDee Lamb dominated the looks from quarterback Cooper Rush with a 9-116-1 line on 13 targets, and while Cooks finished second on the Cowboys in targets, catches and receiving yards, it was Jalen Tolbert and Jalen Brooks who were on the end of Rush's other two touchdowns. Cooks has seen limited volume since returning from a knee injury that cost him seven games in the middle of the season, posting a 7-53-2 line on 15 targets over the last three contests, and he'll be a TD-dependent fantasy option Week 16 against Tampa Bay's vulnerable secondary.

  • Ravens' Diontae Johnson: Not rejoining team for Week 16

The Ravens announced Monday that the team has mutually agreed with Johnson (suspension) to excuse him from team activities Week 16.

Johnson was suspended by Baltimore for Week 15 due to conduct detrimental to the team, but even after his suspension is officially lifted, the veteran wideout won't be back in the building to prepare for Saturday's divisional matchup against the Steelers. Since joining the Ravens in a trade with the Panthers back in October, Johnson has failed to solidify his standing in Baltimore's wide receiver corps. At this point, it remains to be seen whether the veteran wideout will return to team activities Week 17.

  • Jalin Hyatt WR | NYG

Giants' Jalin Hyatt: Not targeted over 20 snaps Sunday

Hyatt did not receive a target in Sunday's 35-14 Week 15 loss to the Ravens.

Hyatt's 20 offensive snaps were fourth most among Giants wideouts, well behind Malik Nabers (64), Wan'Dale Robinson (52) and Darius Slayton (46). Hyatt wasn't able to draw a target while he was on the field, marking the third time over his past five games that he hasn't had a ball thrown his way. Given his paltry production this season and low standing on the depth chart, as well as the overall struggles of New York's passing game, Hyatt is off the fantasy radar in virtually all formats.

  • Jaylen Waddle WR | DEN

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Avoids long-term injury

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said Monday that the knee injury Waddle sustained during the team's Week 15 loss to the Texans is "not major, not surgery-related," David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Waddle's status appears murky for Miami's upcoming matchup against the 49ers on Sunday, but it at least appears he's avoided a more severe outcome. Tyreek Hill remains available for the Dolphins, and if Waddle can't go Week 16, rookie sixth-round pick Malik Washington would be in a solid position to build upon the career-best 5-52-0 receiving line that he logged versus Houston. Further clarity on Waddle's status could arrive with Wednesday's first official injury report of Week 16.

  • Darius Slayton WR | NYG

Giants' Darius Slayton: Gets just one target Week 15

Slayton caught his only target for 16 yards in Sunday's 35-14 loss to Baltimore.

Slayton's recent trend of poor production continued in the loss, as he's now caught two or fewer passes in four straight games. Even more worrisome is the fact that the veteran wideout was targeted just once in the contest. It doesn't help that the Giants' quarterback situation is a mess. With Drew Lock (heel/elbow) unable to play against the Ravens and Tommy DeVito leaving late in the first half due to a concussion, journeyman Tim Boyle ended up playing the entire second half. It's uncertain which of the three signal-callers will be behind center to begin next Sunday's matchup versus the Falcons, but Slayton's outlook isn't bright regardless of who is throwing passes for the team.

  • Xavier Legette WR | CAR

    Panthers' Xavier Legette: Considered week-to-week

Panthers head coach Dave Canales said Monday that Legette (groin) is week-to-week and expected to be ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.

Canales said he would "love to have a chance for [Legette] to finish the season strongly," but the rookie first-round pick is expected to miss at least one contest due to the groin injury he sustained during Carolina's 30-14 loss to the Cowboys in Week 15. If Legette indeed isn't able to suit up versus Arizona, Adam Thielen, Jalen Coker and David Moore will be positioned as Bryce Young's clear top wide receivers, with Deven Thompkins acting in the No. 4 role.

  • Cedric Tillman WR | CLE

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Could return to action Week 16

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday he's "hopeful" that Tillman (concussion) will be available for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Tillman has missed three consecutive games while progressing though the NFL's five-step concussion protocol, but it appears that he's trending in the right direction for Week 16. Stefanski offered similar optimism regarding the status of tight end David Njoku (hamstring), who missed Week 15's loss to the Chiefs. Getting both Tillman and Njoku on the field would provide a notable boost to Cleveland's receiving corps behind Jerry Jeudy, a development that would be particularly helpful with Nick Chubb (foot) having suffered a season-ending fracture.

  • Grant DuBose WR | BUF

Dolphins' Grant DuBose: Receiving positive news

DuBose (head) remains hospitalized Monday but has movement in all extremities, and initial tests have revealed positive results.

DuBose will remain under the care of doctors for continued observation, but fortunately, it sounds like he avoided a worst-case scenario. The second-year pro was part of a scary collision during Sunday's game against the Texans that saw him stretchered off the field and taken to a Houston hospital.
