    Falcons' Sydney Brown: Being traded to Falcons

    The Eagles are trading Brown to the Falcons, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

    Per the report, Atlanta is sending picks No. 114 and No. 197 in the 2026 NFL Draft to Philadelphia in exchange for Brown, picks No. 122 and No. 215. Brown, who turns 26 on Saturday, is coming off a 2025 campaign in which he recorded 34 tackles in 17 regular-season games with the Eagles. With the Falcons, the 2023 third-rounder will have a chance to step into a key role in his new team's safety corps while also offering special-teams ability.

  • Chiefs' Jack Cochrane: Headed to Kansas City

    Cochrane is slated to re-sign with the Chiefs, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

    The South Dakota product was a key special-teamer for the Chiefs last season, appearing in 17 games and recording 20 total tackles and one interception across 403 total snaps (341 on special teams, 62 on defense). Now back with Kansas City, Cochrane is expected to assume a similar role during the 2026 season.

    Browns' Sam Kamara: Staying in Cleveland

    Kamara is slated to re-sign with the Browns, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.

    The 28-year-old from Stony Brook is now in line to remain in Cleveland after spending his last four seasons with the team. Kamara has played in just 15 regular-season games over the last two seasons, recording 21 total tackles across 358 defensive snaps. He's expected to remain a depth piece on the Browns' defensive line during the 2026 season.

  • Colts' Cameron Mitchell: Back to Indy

    Mitchell re-signed with the Colts on Thursday, Amanda Foster of the team's official site reports.

    The cornerback played on 225 defensive snaps across eight games with the Colts last year, recording 18 tackles (14 solo) and four pass breakups. Mitchell also spent time on Indy's practice squad and on the Browns in 2025. The 2023 fifth-round pick has played on more than 200 defensive snaps in all three of his NFL seasons.

  • Dolphins' Bradley Pinion: Heading to Miami

    Pinion agreed to a deal with the Dolphins on Thursday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

    The punter and kickoff specialist has been serving in both roles consistently for the past 11 seasons with the 49ers, Buccaneers and Falcons. Pinion led the NFL with 36 punts inside the 20 in 2025. He should be in line to play a similar role for Miami.

    Broncos' Tycen Anderson: Joining Denver

    Anderson agreed to a deal with the Broncos on Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

    The fifth-round pick of the Bengals in 2022 has seen a grand total of 64 defensive snaps in his NFL career, though he has become a consistent special-teams player, seeing over 300 snaps in that role in each of the last two seasons. Anderson should compete for a depth safety and special-teams role in Denver, too.

  • Saints' Chris Rumph: Re-signs with New Orleans

    The Saints re-signed Rumph on Thursday.

    Rumph appeared in all 17 regular-season games for New Orleans last season and recorded 47 tackles (24 solo), including 2.0 sacks, one forced fumble and one pass breakup as a part-time defensive player and special-teams stalwart. He should fill a similar role in 2026.

    Lions' Myles Adams: Back with Detroit

    The Lions re-signed Adams on Thursday.

    Adams spent the entire 2025 season on Detroit's practice squad after he failed to make the 53-man roster out of training camp. The 28-year-old has appeared in 30 career regular-season contests, notching 34 tackles (12 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and one pass breakup.

    Eagles' Dameon Pierce: Joining Eagles backfield

    The Eagles have signed Pierce to a one-year deal.

    Pierce, who logged a combined 14 carries for 36 yards in five regular-season contests (four with the Texans and one with the Chiefs) in 2025, has seen his workload decrease in each of his last three seasons following his rookie campaign with Houston in 2022, during which recorded 220 carries in 13 games. With the Eagles, he'll compete with Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley for complementary backfield touches behind top back Saquon Barkley.

    Eagles' Stone Smartt: Headed to Philadelphia

    Smartt is slated to sign a one-year deal with the Eagles, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

    Smartt, who spent the first three years of his NFL career with the Chargers, recorded seven catches (on nine targets) for 52 yards in 15 games during his lone campaign with the Jets in 2025. This coming season, the 6-foot-4, 226-pounder will provide added depth to a Philadelphia TE corps that continues to be led by Dallas Goedert, with Grant Calcaterra and Johnny Mundt currently next up in the pecking order.
