  • Bryan Cook SAF | CIN

Chiefs' Bryan Cook: No injury tag

Cook (ankle) was a full participant at Wednesday's practice.

Cook suffered an ankle injury during last week's loss to the Cowboys and only played 12 defensive snaps as a result. However, it appears this injury won't be an issue moving forward. Cook has been a steady member of the Chiefs' secondary with 50 tackles (33 solo) and four pass breakups through 12 games.

  • Jets' Will McDonald: Limited due to ankle issue

McDonald (ankle) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday.

McDonald logged his usual defensive snap share against Atlanta on Sunday, but he appears to have also picked up an ankle injury. It bears monitoring his practice status the remainder of the week, but at this point there's no indication he's dealing with a major issue. McDonald has 7.0 sacks on the season, though 4.0 of those came in one game (versus Cleveland in Week 10).

  • Noah Gray TE | KC

Chiefs' Noah Gray: Full practice Wednesday

Gray (concussion) was a full participant at Wednesday's practice.

Gray missed last week's loss to the Cowboys, but he's progressing well and appears on track to clear the league's concussion protocol before Sunday's game versus the Texans. Gray typically plays more than half the offensive snaps in a game. He has produced 16 receptions for 132 yards through 11 games.

  • Jets' Jermaine Johnson: No practice Wednesday

Johnson (ankle) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Johnson has registered 27 tackles (15 solo) and 3.0 sacks through the past seven games, so his potential absence would be a significant hit to the Jets' defense. If he can't go Sunday versus the Dolphins, Micheal Clemons and, to a lesser extent, Braiden McGregor could see increases in their respective snap counts.

  • Tony Adams SAF | TEN

Jets' Tony Adams: DNP to start week

Adams (groin) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Adams sustained this groin injury during last week's win over the Falcons. The veteran safety started each of the last four games and produced 23 tackles (16 solo), two pass breakups and 1.0 sacks. If he can't shake this injury for this Sunday's game versus the Dolphins, Isaiah Oliver should start at free safety.

  • Denzel Ward CB | CLE

Browns' Denzel Ward: Dealing with hip issue again

Ward was limited in Wednesday's practice because of a hip injury.

Ward managed with a hip issue during much of October, but it didn't cause him to miss any games. It's not clear if his current injury is a recurrence of that problem. Regardless, Ward may not be dealing with a major issue given his ability to log a limited practice to begin the week, though a full session by the end of Friday may be needed for the veteran cornerback to avoid an injury designation heading into the weekend.

  • AJ Barner TE | SEA

Seahawks' AJ Barner: Tending to pair of injuries

Barner was limited at practice Wednesday due to knee and shoulder injuries, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Barner paces Seattle's group of tight ends most weeks, clearing an 80 percent snap share eight times in 12 games this season. The results have been more tepid in the box score, as evidenced by a 37-359-4 line on 46 targets on the campaign in an offense that is run-heavy and also has a clear top receiver in Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Barner will have two more chances to prove his health this week before Friday's practice report potentially includes a designation for Sunday's contest in Atlanta.

  • Alec Ingold FB | LAC

Dolphins' Alec Ingold: Logs limited practice

Ingold (neck) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Ingold picked up an ankle injury during this past Sunday's win over the Saints. He's considered day-to-day at this point, giving him a good chance to play this Sunday versus the Jets. Ingold has played 20.3 offensive snaps per game, rushing two times for nine yards and catching five passes (seven targets) for 36 yards.

  • Dylan Sampson RB | CLE

Browns' Dylan Sampson: Misses practice Wednesday

    Sampson (calf) didn't practice Wednesday.

Zac Jackson of The Athletic reported Monday that coach Kevin Stefanski considered Sampson -- who was injured in Sunday's loss to the 49ers -- day-to-day ahead of Week 14 action. If Sampson is limited or out this weekend, Jerome Ford would be in line to see added snaps behind top RB Quinshon Judkins, with Raheim Sanders in reserve.

  • Sam Darnold QB | SEA

Seahawks' Sam Darnold: Not listed on practice report

Darnold (ankle) isn't listed on the Seahawks' first Week 14 injury report Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Darnold paid multiple visits to the sideline tent during this past Sunday's win against the Vikings, but he didn't miss any snaps until garbage time of the blowout win. On Monday, coach Mike Macdonald told Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune that Darnold was dealing with an ankle issue but should be "good to go" Week 14 in Atlanta. With no designation to speak of on the team's first practice report of the week, Darnold will be under center for Seattle this Sunday.
