McCutchin had a tryout with the Raiders on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

McCutchin was waived/injured ty Tennessee due to an undisclosed issue in late July. He appears to be healthy again and is seeking an opportunity with an NFL club.

Washington removed Jackson (hamstring) from IR with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Jackson suffered a hamstring injury during the preseason and landed on injured reserve Aug. 25. Because he has worked out an injury settlement with the Commanders, he's eligible to sign with another club and play once healthy in 2026. Jackson logged 6.0 regular-season sacks across 23 contests over his first two years in the league with San Francisco, but he's played in just three regular-season games since 2023.

Strange is the Jaguars' projected Week 1 starter at tight end following the NFL's cutdown day, John Oehser of the team's official site reports.

Strange inked a three-year extension with Jacksonville back in June, and in the wake of roster cuts, rookie second-round pick Nate Boerkircher, rookie fifth-rounder Tanner Koziol and fifth-year pro Quintin Morris are the other TEs on the roster. As a result, Strange is the likeliest member of the group, barring health concerns, to end the campaign as the leader in offensive snaps. He's also coming off a 2025 season in which he posted a 46-540-3 line on 60 targets across 12 regular-season games.

The 49ers released Dimukeje (undisclosed) from IR with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Dimukeje found work with San Francisco in mid-August but landed on injured reserve Aug. 27. He was able to work out an injury settlement with the 49ers, so he's eligible to play during the upcoming season once healthy. Dimukeje logged just 16 defensive snaps over five games with the Giants last year, but before that he made eight starts among 55 regular-season appearances with Arizona across his first four NFL campaigns.

Rodriguez currently is one of two healthy running backs on the Jaguars' roster along with Ameer Abdullah due to health concerns for Bhayshul Tuten (illness) and LeQuint Allen (undisclosed).

Allen is the only one of the quartet whose status for Week 1 appears to be up in the air, but Rodriguez nonetheless is poised for a regular role in Jacksonville's offense. What kind of workload that entails remains to be seen, but Tuten is Rodriguez's primary competitor for touches. At least when it comes to short-yardage and goal-line usage, the more imposing Rodriguez likely will handle those after earning 33 carries inside the 20-yard line last season for the Commanders. The Jaguars' season opener against the Browns on Sunday, Sept. 13 ultimately will provide insight into what to expect from the duo.

The Jets released Walker (undisclosed) from IR with an injury settlement Thursday.

Walker landed on injured reserve with an undisclosed issue Monday. He was slated to miss the 2026 season, but the injury settlement makes him eligible to find work with another club and play in 2026 once healthy. Walker has ample NFL experience with 88 career regular-season games, including 30 starts, so he could be an attractive option for teams looking for linebacker depth.

Washington didn't make an appearance during the Jaguars' three-game preseason slate.

Not long after he sat out Jacksonville's exhibition opener on Aug. 15, Washington missed a week of practice due to an undisclosed injury before retaking the field during a joint session with the Buccaneers on Aug. 25, so his lack of in-game activity isn't much a surprise. After reeling off three 100-yard receiving efforts in his final four appearances, including playoffs, of the 2025 campaign, he entered the offseason on a high note and is also considered the team's most sought-after WR in fantasy terms ahead of Brian Thomas, Jakobi Meyers (hand) and Travis Hunter.

Spencer joined the Commanders as an undrafted free agent in May and spent training camp with the club. He was waived/injured Aug. 25 and subsequently reverted to IR when he cleared waivers. Since he's now reached an injury settlement with the club, Spencer is eligible to sign with another team and play during the upcoming campaign once healthy.

Tennessee waived Hampton (undisclosed) from IR with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Hampton was signed by the Titans in mid-August and was waived with an injury designation Aug. 25. He went unclaimed on waivers and consequently reverted to IR. That could have ended his season, but since Hampton reached an injury settlement with Tennessee, he's now eligible to sign with another club and suit up in 2026 once healthy.

Seattle waived Kight (undisclosed) from IR with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Kight was waived/injured due to an undisclosed issue Sunday. He subsequently cleared waivers and reverted to IR, which could have ended his season. However, since Kight reached an injury settlement with the Seahawks, he's now eligible to sign with another team and suit up during the campaign once healthy.
