Cooper is listed as a backup wide receiver on the Jets' unofficial depth chart.

Cooper served as one of QB Fernando Mendoza's top targets at Indiana last season, finishing with a 69-937-13 line in 16 games. After turning in a 4.42 40 time at the NFL Combine, his prospect profile was enough for the Jets to use the 30th overall pick on him in the 2026 NFL Draft. Joining a receiving corps already boasting Garrett Wilson and Adonai Mitchell, Cooper wasn't destined for more than the No. 3 WR role in the offense, but he worked behind even Isaiah Williams in three-wide sets during training camp, and his current depth-chart slotting indicates he still has work to do to earn significant reps in New York's passing game.

Sutton is listed as a starting wide receiver on the Broncos' unofficial depth chart.

Sutton will look to make it three straight seasons with over 1,000 receiving yards as he once again operates as a top option in the wide receiver room with Denver. The Broncos traded for Jaylen Waddle in the offseason, and as a result, Sutton will likely see a reduction in targets, but his role as a top red-zone threat will remain.

New Orleans waived Heldman (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Heldman suffered an unspecified injury during the Saints' preseason finale at Dallas, which landed him on their season-ending IR Sunday. He'll be free to suit up for any team willing to sign him once he's back to full strength.

Miami waived Warren (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Warren had been on the Dolphins' IR since June, but now he's on track to become a free agent. He'll be eligible to suit up for any team willing to sign him as soon as he's back in football shape.

Carolina waived Hayes (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

It looked like Hayes was going to have to spend the entire 2026 season on IR, but he's now in line to become a free agent instead. Hayes' sole regular-season experience came back in 2024 with the Dolphins, when he suited up for one game with Miami.

Thomas (hamstring) did not participate at practice Thursday, Pete Sweeney of The Kansas City Star reports.

The details of the injury are unknown, and Thomas' status for Kansas City's matchup versus the Broncos in Week 1 is now up in the air. In his absence, Cooper McDonald could see an uptick in reps.

The Raiders removed Okwuegbunam from their practice squad Thursday.

Okwuegbunam joined Las Vegas' practice squad Monday after missing the cut for the 53-man roster, but he's now a free agent again. He suited up for one game with the Raiders in 2025, catching five of six targets for 36 yards.

Las Vegas signed Ojulari to its practice squad Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Ojulari suited up for just three regular-season games with the Eagles in 2025, and he'll start the new campaign with the Raiders on the practice squad. Las Vegas' active roster doesn't have a ton of depth on the edge, so it might not take much for Ojulari to be elevated at some point in 2026.

Coleman is likely to serve as the Broncos' between-the-tackles complement to starter J.K. Dobbins this season, Nick Kosmider of The Athletic reports.

Coleman was selected in the fourth round of April's draft after completing his four-year college career with a 2025 campaign with Washington during which he compiled 758 yards and 15 touchdowns on 156 carries over 12 contests. He also added 31 catches for 354 yards and two scores during his senior season. The Huskies played with an up-tempo style, so Coleman was on the field for all downs, resulting in him becoming a capable receiver and pass blocker. The running back is considered a more physical back than RJ Harvey, who also is set to serve as a reserve option behind Dobbins this season, and as a result, Coleman could be ticketed to serve more frequently as a direct replacement for Dobbins.

Bell was waived by the Saints on Saturday after missing the cut for their 53-man roster, but now he's getting a shot to make an impression with a new team. The Raiders have arguably the most unproven group of wide receivers in the league to start 2026, so if Bell is elevated to the active roster at any point, he could be a candidate to draw targets right away.
